Xperia Z2 :: Phone Shuts Down When Pulled Out Power Source Though Battery Status Is Above 80%
Sep 20, 2015
I upgraded to Lollipop 5.1.1 recently using Sony updates. However I am having a strange problem now. The phone shuts down when pulled out of a power source though battery status is above 80%. If I plug back the phone into a power supply and restart, I am able to use the phone without any problem. Is my battery dead? It has been about 1.5 years now with this phone. Tried restarting in safe mode as well but the phone still shut down when pulled out of power supply.
Unable to see Wi-Fi status after connecting to power source. After tapping Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync, the message reads: Sync will resume when "R300764AHWR001" is available. how to sync my iPhone 3G to ITunes,
I own a Neo V. It shuts down unexpectedly. It may shut down twice a day or once a week. After it has shut down I cannot power it on. I must first remove the battery and then power it on. Is it a hardware or a software problem? I have Android version 2.3.4 and my build number is 4.0.2.A.0.62. I have not rooted it and I have already tried to reset to factory settings.
Where does the status bar on the left hand side, get the temperature? This morning, it took almost an hour for the temperature to update. I have the Weather Channel, NBC weather, and the weather & clock that was shipped with the Samsung
I have a problem with my iPhone 3 GS. I have bought it two years ago. Since december 2011 a have a problem with it. Whenever it is stressed (loading websites, opening an app, searching network, sending an imessage,...) it simply turns off. I am not able to turn it on without connect it to power source. The display is black and if I try it to turn on there is the apple but then it turns black again. After a few failed attempt there is the simbol of no battery again (before turning off there was enough). Then, after connectet it, it turns on and behold there is enough battery again, for example 60%.
I cant turn on my Iphone 4S even conected to a power source .... when I conected it to my Itunes says that its in RECOVERY MODE ... What is that ??? Then I try to restore but always appears a messagem saying that an Error Unknoking 1600 ???
my htc one shuts down after a couple of seconds when run on battery, but it stays on during charging. Is it a battery issue? Should I buy a new battery or send it to htc one for inspection? I even did a factory reset, but it didnt work. Also it turns off quickly while using camera, playing games, or in other words it stays on longer when I am not using it at all.
i was on instagram and i was texting one of my friendsand then i went downstairs it was perfectly fine when i left it in my room. Then i came back up to check instagram again and it wouldnt turn on. This had happened before but it came back on after like 1 hour but i really need my phone. Even i plug it into the charger it wont come back on i had at least 60% of battery when i left it. What should i do?
I've noticed since the 4.4.3 update on Verizon, that my M7 will shut down before the battery hits zero, in fact it occurs when the battery hits between 17-25%.
Getting quite frustrated with this phone now. I've had my BlackBerry Curve over a year now, and I'm on a 2 year contract with Orange. But I've had this problem. My phone will be fine when it's plugged into my computer or my charger, but when I take it out and start to use it, sometimes within 5 minutes, sometimes within hours, it can come up with this whiteness filling the screen. This leaves me with no choice but to take the battery out.
Then after that it refuses to turn on until I plug it in again. This is annoying me to the extreme because I can spend hours waiting for it to charge, then when it's fully charged I'll take it out, go out, put music on or something and it'll go off yet again. Sometimes it can just cut off without the white screen. Even then it won't turn back on without a power source. I've tried updating the software and that won't work.
This happened to me a few times now now. A couple of weeks ago and yesterday. Both times I was using the network connection as wifi was not available. I used the repair feature within pc companion, but it happened again last night. It should be noted that the phone was fully charged, turned off, turned on during my lunch break and in use for only approx 20 mins.
The Battery Bar on my phone is always high, and then the phone switches off and needs charging after a while. This is because it makes me think it is fully charged. I can;t update my firmware because of T-Mobile's restriction. Is there an app to check my Phone Status, including battery life? The Nokia Device Status one from the Beta Labs doesn't work on my N79, it won't install. Also, is there a way to bypass the T-Mobiel restriction and update my phone? And finally, is BBC iPlayer actually meant to work on this phone?
Bold 9700 running 6.0, battery suddenly drains dies and phone shuts off, even though there is charge left.I've made sure to exit and close apps so they don't drain in the background.Tried replacing the phone through the carrier.
I bought my Xperia Mini 26 days ago. But I am having some major battery problems already. When the battery charge level decreases to 50% my phone automatically displays a message that the phone battery is low and shuts down. It won't even turn on unless it is charged. I know the rules to save battery life, I have already done the following:
1. Turned off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2. Switched to 2G when at home from 3G 3. I have a very low screen brightness 4. Turned off GPS when not needed 5. Disabled the display bravia engine, animations and screen auto rotation
I have to pull the battery or reboot my phone several times a day because my sound just shuts off for no reason. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there new software I need or something?
when i charge my battery is up too 100 but if i dont use it for ten minute suddenly show my battery 80% when again i use it sometimes itself charge to 100 without i charge it , if i dont use it the charge soon descrease to 30 and go to 1% and work for 18 hour but all time show battery 1% How i repair it?
These days when I using my Xperia Ray, the battery level drop from 23% to 1% in one second and auto-power off. When I charge it, the battery level jump from 1% to 23%.
I've had a Sony ZL2 SOL25 for just over a year now. Everything was fine until a few weeks ago. I upgraded to Android 4.4.2 around the same time, but this might be a coincidence.
My phone now lasts a couple of hours before shutting itself off, without warning and when there is (supposedly) charge in the battery. It also drops % randomly. From 70% to 55% over the space of 10 minutes. The maximum usage I've been able to get of the phone is 6 hours (about 60-90 minutes use, the rest it's idle). I'm not sure where the problem is: the battery, the battery information on screen, the update?
I have factory reset it twice over the last week and if anything, it's just gotten worse. I have added no apps since the last reset, not even configurated email. The problem is not only the very limited battery life, it's that the battery reading is unrealiable, I feel like I never really know what the real capacity is and when it's going to die. What I have figured out is that once it hits 50% that signals the end is near. I rarely see it go under 40%, it will usually shut down before that.
More details: This happens at any charge level, for example today it shutdown at 78%. It seemed the battery was having a good day, as I had left the house 2 hours prior and disconnected the charger at 100%, so it had "only" lost 20% during two hours (mostly idle, but about 15min with location services and 20min with facebook/browsing). I got my phone out to take a photo and noted the charge (78%) and right after taking the photo the phone just stated "Shutting Down" and the battery signal in the corner was red (couldn't read %). It would not restart, I tried several times but it wouldn't complete the start-up sequence, turning itself off in about 2-5 seconds. About 30 minutes later I managed to turn it on, it showed the charge as being 16%. I thought I had enough power to send an sms, but as it was sending it shut down again as the battery was 0% and so it turned itself off (this process between turning on and the power showing 16% and shutting down took less than 2 minutes, but the sms went through! Yay for silver linings!). About an hour later I had access to my charger and connected to the power cable, which after 10 minutes said it was at 60% charge.
i have my xperia for about 8months now. when i insert my battery the fone will heat up and drain the battery till its dead in less than a hour. when i put it on charge it does the same thing. some guy i spoke to said it could be that the IC is missing.
I bought z2 few days ago, everything seems right until yesterday, in power management it says battery could live about 2 days and smth with 100% but yesterday my phone was on 40% and power management says 4 hours more life of battery, i charged it and now with 100% its 7 hours ...
The E7-00 was updated to the latest Symbian Belle softwareRecently a problem started to appear in the USB connection. After connecting the phone through a USB cable the USB port on the PC (Windows XP current version) signals a power problem. ( Power surge on the hub port, Pc shuts itself off)
I have recently bought a Xperia X8 in New Zealand. It was sold in the Vodafone phone section of an electronic store, the salesperson assured me it was not locked to Vodafone so I decided to buy it and take it back home with me to Samoa. Prior to departing for Samoa, I've used the phone with a Vodafone NZ sim card for about a week, everything worked fine, internet, GMail, apps market, apps etc. After arriving back in Samoa, I hooked it up to my computer to update the phone software which included an upgrade to Android 2.1. After that, I took it down to a Digicel (one of the two mobile phone service providers in Samoa) store to get my internet set up. After leaving the store I've realised only the browser's internet connection worked, but no internet connection for of the apps, apps market, GMail etc...
(1)No internet Did some research on the net about this problem, tried getting the wizard back up and signing into my google account, no luck. Formatted the phone, tried to set up my google account straight away in the wizard, no luck. Digicel doesnt know what's wrong either. There are no Android phones currently sold by Digicel in Samoa so I guess I can't really blame them. It's very frustrating. Fortunately, I've been able to hook up the phone to my home's wifi connection, internet works fine of course...the apps, the apps market, GMail etc.
(2) Phone shuts down with other sim cards Ever since having taken the phone down to the Digicel store (they took it to the back so I don't know what else they did with the phone) to get the internet set up, no other sim cards work with the phone. Well they work, but, only a few seconds or at most a minute after entering the sim pin, then the phone just goes blank and reboots itself. This happens with simcards from the other mobile phone service provider (tried both mine and my dad's) AND with the Vodafone sim card I used in NZ!?!?! Could Digicel have done something to the phone which makes it shut down when non-Digicel sim cards are inserted?
My Curve 8530 has been turning off spontaneously power cycling then the Blackberry download screen comes on. It will then fully load and when it powers back on the battery will be completely drained. It will do this in the middle of phone calls, texting and browsing.
i have collected probably 15 different chargers the last couple of years that I use at various locations to charge my Blackberry, iPhone, and a couple of Samsung Google Nexus Phones. That is every device other than the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the Torch before that. I get the familiar message "the charging source connected to your blackberry device cannot charge your battery", except when connected to RIM manufactured charger or fortunately the USB port on my laptop. How in the world can every phone other than RIM's Blackberry take a charge from the various power sources without problem. I had the problem to some degree on the Torch, but figured RIM would catch on and get it fixed. Now I have the new Bold 9900 and it does not even work on my trusted 12V car charger. If 4 or 5 different devices work with multiple chargers and the Bold 9900 does not work on any it has to be a RIM and BLACKBERRY problem.Maybe the guys in Waterloo are just totally insulated from the rest of the world and only own BlackBerry phones with Blackberry chargers and believe there is not a problem. At least it appear that way with this charger issue and several other issues, but I won't get deeper into that here?
I bought xperia z2 2 weeks ago. Just today my phone went crazy. The screen started detecting random touches every where _ghost touches_. I switched it off several times until the problem was solved . But apparently a new problem appeared. Now I can't scroll down the notification bar. I went to diagnostics where I could test the device. I tested the touch input and surprisingly the status bar area detects nothing at all. The screen works responds properly except for the upper most part ( status bar area). So I guess that this is a software problem .
