My Curve 8530 has been turning off spontaneously power cycling then the Blackberry download screen comes on. It will then fully load and when it powers back on the battery will be completely drained. It will do this in the middle of phone calls, texting and browsing.
i have my xperia for about 8months now. when i insert my battery the fone will heat up and drain the battery till its dead in less than a hour. when i put it on charge it does the same thing. some guy i spoke to said it could be that the IC is missing.
Since I allowed an update on my phone, my screen/background is continuously coming on by itself and this drains my battery. The screen used to only come on when I pressed the power button. I have my display settings set so the screen is supposed to cut off after 15 seconds of inactivity.
My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!
my blackberry curve 8520 white screens and drains the battery after phone calls. It won't reboot unless I plug it in. I'm not sure why - I've upgraded the software, completely wiped and restored, and I've taken the battery out, left it for 5 minutes and tried to start again. It just started doing this - I haven't had any other problems with this phone ever.
My last iPhone started having some battery issues about a year after owning it.With the iPhone 4, is it safe to charge the phone every night despite how far into draining the battery it is? Or should I always try to run the battery down if possible?
Basically my phone slowly started turning off(no shutdown just straight off) after long periods in the car using the SatNav even when it still had over 40% power on the battery.
Eventually the other day it just started turning off every time I tried to open maps (whilst lost in some random suburb!)
And now if the phone is plugged on charge I can do whatever I want with it, as soon as I take it off charge it will stay on until I unlock the screen and try to do anything (swipe or open an app.) Immediately I though the battery was to blame but why would it stay on until I did something?
Now the stranger part, if I start my music, start the satnav etc whilst its plugged in then unplug it, as long as I don't unlock or do anything on the screen the phone will continue to work. I can even start and stop music, skip tracks from the lock screen, even unlock and lock it again, as soon as I try to load an app, boom it just goes black, not even a shut down, just straight to black.
The battery life on my phone has been amazing. HOWEVER today I had about one bar left on the battery indicator and my phone just shut off unexpectedly when I was on a phone call. I couldn't get it to turn on so I did a battery pull and it did. Then... when I turned it back on it said "Power to Low for Radio Use".I'm a newbie to the BlackBerry world so: Do our phone just shut of with no warning? Is the "Power to Low for Radio Use" a normal thing? I would think there would be some kind of low battery warning before our phone just dies.
I've had a BB Curve 9360 (I think!) for just over a year and in the last few months it has started to get really hot and run the battery down really quick. I charge it up over night every night and before lunch time it has drained completely without even using it except to maybe send the odd txt msg or check the time. I have checked that every application is closed down, turned off my WIFI and sometimes even my phone service but it seems to have no effect. It doesn't always do this it used to be once every couple of weeks and now it's more like every other day.
My blackberry restarts itself and drains the battery and I was wondering if there was a way to fix it without having to wipe the memory of my blackberry to do so?
Two weeks ago I started having problems with my battery. I would charge it overnight and then in the morning I would try to do something basic like checking my email, making a phone call, etc. and my battery would die...so badly that the phone would shut down. I tried to rectify this problem, thinking that it was the battery so I removed the battery from my older curve and placed it in the new phone. That was unsuccessful. I went for a couple of days by just constantly plugging in my phone whenever I needed to use it. In any case, the night before I went to the sprint store for service, I uninstalled all user apps thinking that it may just me an app that I downloaded that is draining my battery. Not only did I have the same problem, but then after that I lost all internet connections meaning that in the top right corner of my phone I had NO bars and only a big X. I could still make calls and receive calls and texts. I spoke to a customer service tech who then after a series of trials decided that my phone was just dead. I received just today a refurbished blackberry curve of the same type and guess what? Same problem...phone battery dead. It happened right after I reinstalled Pandora, Blackberry Messenger, and Facebook. Could one of these apps be killing my phone?
My lumia 1020 battery's draining so heavily ( 94% - 8 hrs remaining ) i tried doing the soft reset, disabled all the background apps, turned off the settings, at last even did a hard reset and installed all the apps again and after two days it still on to the same issue..
My phone is slow and overheats then the battery drains super fast. i also seem to have a problem with the google playstore. I can't log in as its giving me the error feedback...
I have a Curve 9300 with some applications I downloaded from App World. I think it drains the battery too quickly as I have to recharge it every 8-9 hours without using it. Is there a way to understand if some application is using the battery at all time or or a program that lists the running the aplplications?
I got my curve 9900 about a month and a half ago and I haven't dropped or damaged it in any way but the battery has stated to drain itself in a few hours when fully charged (this has been happening for the past week) and phone lags and freezes on the loading clock sign. Also, when I turn it off at night and try to turn it on in the morning it's battery is dead and I have to charge it again.
My bb has been annoying me for sometime because it drains the battery so quickly. I've deleted lots of apps etc I don't use to try and help, and I make sure I properly close everything down so it's not running in the background etc. Even if I put it on standby mode the battery has usually drained by about 1pm even though it's been fully charged.Me and my fiance have the same phone so I've tried his battery/charger etc. If I use his fully charged battery the same thing was happening. On saturday though, it just will not charge at all. A red light comes on and goes and that's it. If I use a fully charged battery it will still last a few hours, but I can't charge it myself. It's a bit of a nightmare as my fiance had emergency surgery last night so we need to both have working phones so he can contact me from the hospital if he needs to, and I need to take his phone home to charge at night, but it's leaving me without a working phone.
my battery drains fast and i'm actually wondering if there's some hidden applications running at the back of the program.. i already try pressing or holding the menu key to see all the applications open and running but i only have 5 applications open the messages phone home browser and the BBM i tried closing the BBM but it's still there so i'm wondering that it's normal. so now i don't know what to do. i also bought a brand new battery for my 9650 but it's the same it drains fast i can only use it for 2hrs.
I replaced my battery yesterday for my Curve 9300 (3G) smartphone. I started the day at 100% charge. After 8 hours, the battery is at 40%. My provider says there's no issues; I've not changed my useage habits and have used the phone for less than 1 hour today.
i return to the shop with this device. this phone is 5 weeks old and battery was fine but no going down quickly over past week. no apps have have been loaded on to the phone just ones which were on it facebook, Internet, twitter. battery still goes even without using it. another family member has same phone running a lot more and their battery is fine.
I've got a 2g unlocked. Nothing installed but the sinful MMS package (but it did this before I installed it anyways). Maybe once or twice every week or two the battery will drain rather quickly during the day. It'll last from 8am - 6pm off a full nights charge. So once it dies, I'll try to turn it back on but it remains dead. As soon as i plug it in, it turns on as usual but then reads 50% battery. The remaining "50%" then takes about an hour to drain to zero again.
The battery has been calibrated and most days it works perfectly fine (2-3 days per charge)I think I've noticed that this happens on a day where I might use the phone a little more than average, but definitely not enough to make this drastic change.
Bold 9700 running 6.0, battery suddenly drains dies and phone shuts off, even though there is charge left.I've made sure to exit and close apps so they don't drain in the background.Tried replacing the phone through the carrier.
I was received a pic from a friend via Whatsapp and shortly after that,I can't open both my Whatsapp and album.I suspect the file containing virus and I scan my phone with pre-installed AVG Antivirus. But,it shows my phone is free from harmful file.I successfully removed the pic via Photo app and then I realise my battery life is draining too fast than before.
Twice in the past week it seems like the charger (OEM Blackberry Wall Charger) actually killed the battery when charging overnite !! Put it on charger overnite as usual and the first time it happened i looked at the phone in the morning and it said something like "shutting down due to low battery" Put it on the car charger and finally powered back up but then would not recognize the media card, had to do a battery pull to get it back. Couple days later got some wierd "OS system failure" message in the morning but this time didn't lose the media card. Both times when i left the phone it showed that it was charging. Haven't left it on overnite anymore but seems to be fine when i use the charger for a short period.
Recently my phone freezes when I am using it, it comes up with a small black egg timer symbol and it just kills my battery, i hear this is a common blackberry problem and it sometimes resolves itself when I pull the battery out the back, but surely this cannot be healthy for the phone to constantly pull the battery out whilst its still on?
I listen to audiobooks on my commute. Worked fine for a year, but battery life has faded. Now, even with a new battery charged all night, I only got 10 minutes of playback in the morning. I don't use other apps, make few calls & emails. What's my next step?
I traded my Curve 8330 for a Curve 9330. After 3 months of usage, it started recycling but would not turn on. I had it replaced. Now after two days, the new unit is doing the same thing.
I have installed Android 6.0 few weeks ago. Since last week I have noticed some weird behaviour. While discharging, when the battery is about 40%, my Nexus 5 turns off immediately. Then, when I am trying to turn it on, I got a low battery warning and can't turn it on. When I connect it to the charger and turn it on, the battery indicator shows about 15-20%.Is my battery going to die? It looks normal, not swollen. I tried reinstalling Marshmallow (with wipe) but it didn't work. When reinstalling system, I noticed an other problem. Stock recovery doesn't work. After flashing it with
Code:
fastboot erase recovery fastboot flash recovery recovery.img I have only the laying android and red triangle picture. TWRP works when flashed the same way. But it disappears after reboot!
