View 1 RepliesI updated my Bold 9700 OS to 5.0.0.862 about 2 weeks ago. Everything was working fine up until Saturday, charging 1 minute then the next nothing, tried wall charger, car charger and also through the computer...nothing . This is the message the phone displays "The charging source connected to your Blackberry device cannot charge your battery."
The lightning icon is there but the battery level does not increase.I cant downgrade the OS since the computer doesnot recognize the device, I constantly get an error message. "Usb device has malfunctioned."
I upgraded to Lollipop 5.1.1 recently using Sony updates. However I am having a strange problem now. The phone shuts down when pulled out of a power source though battery status is above 80%. If I plug back the phone into a power supply and restart, I am able to use the phone without any problem. Is my battery dead? It has been about 1.5 years now with this phone. Tried restarting in safe mode as well but the phone still shut down when pulled out of power supply.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my iPhone 3 GS. I have bought it two years ago. Since december 2011 a have a problem with it. Whenever it is stressed (loading websites, opening an app, searching network, sending an imessage,...) it simply turns off. I am not able to turn it on without connect it to power source. The display is black and if I try it to turn on there is the apple but then it turns black again. After a few failed attempt there is the simbol of no battery again (before turning off there was enough). Then, after connectet it, it turns on and behold there is enough battery again, for example 60%.

i have collected probably 15 different chargers the last couple of years that I use at various locations to charge my Blackberry, iPhone, and a couple of Samsung Google Nexus Phones. That is every device other than the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and the Torch before that. I get the familiar message "the charging source connected to your blackberry device cannot charge your battery", except when connected to RIM manufactured charger or fortunately the USB port on my laptop. How in the world can every phone other than RIM's Blackberry take a charge from the various power sources without problem. I had the problem to some degree on the Torch, but figured RIM would catch on and get it fixed. Now I have the new Bold 9900 and it does not even work on my trusted 12V car charger. If 4 or 5 different devices work with multiple chargers and the Bold 9900 does not work on any it has to be a RIM and BLACKBERRY problem.Maybe the guys in Waterloo are just totally insulated from the rest of the world and only own BlackBerry phones with Blackberry chargers and believe there is not a problem. At least it appear that way with this charger issue and several other issues, but I won't get deeper into that here?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I plug in my iPhone 6 Plus to the USB and connect as iPod, I cannot play music I've selected through my vehicles infotainment system. I have a 2013 Honda Accord. All previous versions of iOS have worked almost flawlessly in this car and my last one. However, since purchasing the iPhone 6 Plus, I have had nothing but problems with using my car as an iPod connecting to the audio system. Sometimes it just says "loading"... this flashes back and forth, but it never loads. Other times, it will load, and I can browse my music and podcasts.
However, when I select a song, it will not begin playing. I can go to the "Now Playing" section of my Music app and see that the song I had selected has been chosen, but I have to click the play button on my iPhone to make it play. I have Siri Eyes free, and it construes to work. However, Siri seem to be getting less useful all the time. This whole issue has really got me upset. I paid $1,000 for this phone. It is supposed to Just Work.
I assume it is a software issue; I wish the would get around to fixing it. I, personally, find this unacceptable. This is a core function of the phone. I don't really care about health apps... Apple Pay is cool... but they should not do a single thing that messes up the core functions of the phone. Being able to connect to my car and listen to music is why I paid Apple's ridiculous price to upgrade to 128 GB or RAM. This is like upgrading the software and not being able to make phone calls for 3 months until they finally release some random software update.

I have recently upgraded from a 9650 to a 9930. Everything is fine except that when I have the device locked (via the new, inconveniently placed lock button) and plug in a power cable the phone unlocks. How do I disable this? Maybe I am the only one who is annoyed by this but what is the point of a button that locks the phone until you unlock it if other things can unlock it. It wouldn't be a problem if not for the touchscreen which I always seem to be pressing at the time I plug it in.
View 1 Replies View RelatedGetting quite frustrated with this phone now. I've had my BlackBerry Curve over a year now, and I'm on a 2 year contract with Orange. But I've had this problem. My phone will be fine when it's plugged into my computer or my charger, but when I take it out and start to use it, sometimes within 5 minutes, sometimes within hours, it can come up with this whiteness filling the screen. This leaves me with no choice but to take the battery out.
Then after that it refuses to turn on until I plug it in again. This is annoying me to the extreme because I can spend hours waiting for it to charge, then when it's fully charged I'll take it out, go out, put music on or something and it'll go off yet again. Sometimes it can just cut off without the white screen. Even then it won't turn back on without a power source. I've tried updating the software and that won't work.

I must first remove the battery and then power it on. Is it a hardware or a software problem? I have Android version 2.3.4 and my build number is 4.0.2.A.0.62. I have not rooted it and I have already tried to reset to factory settings.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSince I upgraded to 5.0, everytime I connect my Tour to A/C power, the screen changes to an analog clock. Isn't there a way to defeat this from happening? Also, when I connect to my computer via USB, I no longer get the message asking it I want to use it as a USB device or not? Is this part of the upgrade?
View 7 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I need to reboot/reset my i760 (Winmob 6.1, Spb Shell) it will not finish the boot cycle. I turn it on, I get the Samsung logo, the dark blue static Verizon wireless screen, then it about a half a second into the next screen (where the Verizon wireless logo "floats" down to a light blue screen) the system powers off. You can just see the red check in the logo start to draw and head down and the system just goes off.I thought I had solved it by pulling the battery for about 30 seconds, but now that doesn't fix the problem anymore. The only way to make the phone power on is to connect it to a power source (charger or cradle). Then it powers on normally. It does not matter the charge on the battery at the moment - I've had it do it any charge level, including 100% just off a overnight charge. This battery will normally last me 2 days of hard use.Any ideas?

I cannot get my phone out of power mode. It is turned off, but auto brightness goes lowest possible still. No lights on buttons, no haptic feedback, no sounds (hate them, but turn on to see).
It's not hardware as the haptic buttons light and vibrate on boot... Just nothing after boot up. Haven't done anything but let my phone hit 10% battery before charging.
