I have been trying to connect my s6 edge to win7 without luck. I have tried the following (solo and mixing some changes) :
upgrade to latest Kies3 install Smart Switch install Samsung USB driver change the PC USB port enable and disable the developers option enable and disable the USB debugging
all resulted in the PC to be charging the s6 edge battery.
Yesterday I installed windows 8 Professional X64, but now I'm not able to connect my Htc Wildfire S to my PC. HTC Sync ( v3.2.20 ) says "No device connected" I guess thats because I'm missing the Android Phone drivers. In device manager there is two devices without driver: Android Phone and RNDIS ( USB Tethering ) Device manager is not finding any driver for my phone when I press update driver. I have also installed latest version of Googles SDK manager and installed EXTRAS // Google usb driver package which didn't solve this problem either... Referring to googles help docs ( OEM USB Drivers | Android Developers ) I should download OEM driver from HTC site but there ain't any..
I am a newbie to a smartphone and am trying to connect to my old Samsung E2550 (which I will continue to use) to my Widlfire in order to transfer my contacts. I have managed to pair them but on the Wildfire it states paired but not connected.

I'm having a problem with my iDevices when connecting to my Windows PC, it freezes. It does not freezes automatically, but after a while it does. Sometimes it takes longer and other times it's faster, it doesn't have a pattern. Also, it's not something related to iOS updates, because as far as I remember, I have this problem since iOS 4. I'm using a iPhone 4S and a iPad 2, both with iOS 5.1.1, syncing with Windows 7.
it won't connect to my laptop by Bluetooth. Both devices will find each other and get as far as putting in the code to make sure they are the right device, then my computer confirms the connection and my phone shows up in Bluetooth devices, but on my phone is shows paired but not connected and there is no option to connect, only to unpair.
I cannot get my PC to recognize my Razr Maxx. I downloaded the drivers and still no good. I am using the cable that came with the phone. When connected it does charge my phone.
Can't see contents of some folders when connected to windows 8 pc, ie if I open my comics folder I can see all of my CBR files right away. If I open my movies folder its blank, no avi files. The kicker is if I copy and past the .avi files on the phone then past them to another folder, ie the books folder, it shoes the .avi files when I look for them while connected tovm PC.
I can capture a pic using the camera but when i try to capture a video using the camcorder ...it just beeps and then nothing happens..nothing is recorded ...am i doing something wrong.
I have a contract with T-Mobile that has 'unlimited internet access' and I have a Wildfire. I was hoping to use this to enable me to access the internet on a netbook and it seems like the Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot function would do the trick. However, when I tried this I get on to a T-Mobile page that is then asking me for more money and it seems that T-Mobile can detect that it is a different device than the phone trying to access the internet.
I have been successfully connecting my 8330 to a desktop PC running XP for quite a while. The device sw is v4.5.0.175. I recently got a new Lenovo T410 laptop, running Windows 7. I have downloaded the DM software (v5.0.1) and verified that my device SW is up-to-date, but the laptop is still not recognizing that the device is connected (via USB). I've tried it in all the USB ports on the laptop, and also followed all the steps detailed in KB13146, with no luck. I can't find anything in any of the forums that reference Windows 7.
my Nokia 5800 XM was connected to computer, and i can retrieve files from it, but when i come to software updater, it show me a message that, there is no device connected.

I recently purchased the Lumia 950 XL and have had a pretty terrible experience transferring photos from my Windows 10 PC to the device.
With phone connected to PC via the included USB-c cable, I'm dragging and dropping my photo albums from my PC into the Pictures folder in the phone's local memory. However every so often, the transfer will hang on a specific photo. Sometimes it will hang for minutes at a time and I'll need to kill the process manually. Other times it will error out, saying "the device stopped working or was disconnected". Once either situation occurs, the phone's folders in Explorer become unresponsive (i.e. clicking through the phone's folders, refreshing the view, and ejecting the phone via the taskbar do not work), and I must physically unplug the phone and plug it back into the computer in order to be able to try again. The phone interface itself remains functioning and fully accessible while this is occurring.
Typically I can get a problem photo to work by opening it in Photoshop, making some small change (i.e. drawing a single pixel in it), and saving it. This seems to clear whatever error was in place, but only until I hit the next time this happens on subsequent photos. In some cases I've been able to add photos or full albums without issue - in others, every single photo in an album was problematic and could not be fixed by altering in Photoshop.
I've looked for issues in the photos themselves, but don't see anything that's telling me what they may have in common vs photos that do work - they open fine on the PC and don't appear to be corrupt. This never occurred previously with these same photos when transferring in the same fashion to my Lumia 1520 via a standard USB cable. I thought perhaps I had a faulty USB-c cable, but I tried with two spare cables and the same thing occurred. I also tried using different USB ports on my computer (both USB 2.0 and 3.0) and nothing changed. Rebooting the PC / phone doesn't work either. I've yet to test if this also happens with other file types, i.e. music.
i just got my iphone 3gs connect it to my little notebook it comes up on my computer but itunes does not recognize it ive tried all the walk troughs on Internet and still nothing?
I had the problem of iTunes not recognising the iPhone on MOST occasions when I start it. Sometimes it would sometimes it wouldn't. This has been going on for 4 months. After running through all the tips on the web, from apple and everyone else i finally discovered I was low on Disk Space (I tried to copy the iTunes backup files to another location to protect them and they wouldn't fit). So I cleaned out my hard disk and everything worked.
when I try to connect my 3gs or my wifes 4 or my daughters ipod tough to my pc (xp) it tries to install the drivers for the device then gives an error that says your device was not installed properly.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8900, Windows XP SP2, Desktop Manager 4.7 and a 3com PCMIA Bluetooth Card. Using the card I have successfully paired my computer with my Blackberry. All the services on the blackberry are enabled and the Bluetooth software shows that the serial port service is available using COM4. When I open Desktop Manager and open Connection Options, the 'use bluetooth' option is grayed out, so I cannot connect my Blackberry. Does anyone know what to do?
The newest software upgrade is giving me fits - in addition to losing some of my favorite apps (BrickBreaker, we hardly knew ye), every time I connect my device to the PC to synch, my device automatically reboots. This is time consuming and annoying.
When I try to connect my iphone to Itunes a legend says tha apple mobile device is not connected and I canīt get them work. I have try many things and dosenīt work.
Even though I can use BT fine though PC suite - Whenever I connect my phone it tries to find drivers for three BT peripheral devices - and fails to do so. Is there any way to resolve this?
