Running DM 6.0.0.43
Everytime the device backs up it goes all they through and at the end it gives the error message: "There was an error backing up. There could have been a problem with the device or connection during the backup. Verify that the device is turned on and connected."
My BB Bold 9650's flash and led stopped working and the mic's volume had weakened. Whats the prob here? Is it software specifically the OS? Device error 300 when I hard reset it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my Blackberry Bold 9650 from os 5 to os 6. From then when I turn data on soon after my phone is getting restarted with the error message 348(RESET). Its happening very frequently. If I turn data OFF, my phone is working well.
View 1 Replies View Relatedno matter what settings I use on the 9650 "Memory" settings. I cann't get any computer (Windows 7 or XP Pro) to recognize the device as "mass storage device" so I can access the memory card. There is plenty of items on the card, and I can access them fro mthe decive, but the computer won't "find" it. This is with DM 5.0 and 4.7, on windows XP Pro and Windows 7.

Does not work and put it on the charger led illuminates a red color appears and disappears, and when connected to the computer screen appears black with a mobile battery and above it a sign of thunder and does not work at all.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy bb bold 9000 is stuck at the verify security software ..... it is at 100% security tests passed and it just didnt disappear as normal. I can't do anything with my bb. Oh i can hold on the bb button to look which program is running. I can push the dial button but just cant dial... i cant scroll or type anything. I faced this problem out of no where when i reboot the bb last night. i left it like that whole night thinking that i might need times.

I try to sign into the app world and it says it cant verify my email and password. I tried clicking the forgot password and I keep getting the message that Blackberry App world is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App world server with the error id 30637. I've gotten apps before so I don't understand why I am getting this message!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded from a 9630 to a 9650. I went into my BIS account and tried to update the pin but it refuses to recognize my new BB. I called my Cell provider and everything is working on their end, my new pin is registered and works fine.When I click on the Detect new device button i just get the following error
"Unable to detect new device. It may take a few minutes for a new device to be detected. Make sure your SIM card is in your new device and try again. If you do not have a SIM card, make sure your device is activated and try again."The device is activated and all data as well as phone works fine. I can manually setup my emails on the phone itself but in the email settings wizard i have no option to log into an existing account either.
Due to a relocation, I was forced to switch carriers and went from a Bold 9700 to a Bold 9650. I've noticed a few changes that you can hopefully help me with!
1. Does you keypad appear yellowish instead of white? (cosmetic complaint only)
2. Does the ear piece sound "tingy" when turned up? sounds like the speaker is loose and something is vibrating.
3. When i send a text message there is a count down at the top, when i hit 160, it says field full and wno't let me type more, in the past, it would just let me type and send it as multiple text messages. is this a US Cellular thing or a setting i'm missing?

ok, so i wanted to try to free up some memory space and delete some apps that i didn't need using desktop manager on my mac. i plug in the device, open desktop manager, click on the applications button, uncheck all the unnecessary apps (brickbreaker, asian languages, etc). when i go to proceed, i get a pop-up:
i can't seem to delete anything and i've checked online, but still no help. can someone help me out or guide me to where i may get some help?
I'm currently out of the country and have data services turned off. Had to redo settings. iMessage for phone number is now unverified and "waiting to be activated". It works with my email, but not my phone number, which is what most people have. Is there a way to verify phone number when the phone data is turned off? Or can I only receive via my email address until I am back in the US

I have a BlackBerry 9650 that's giving me the following error message when trying to update software or even delete/remove software using BlackBerry Desktop Manager. The exact error message appearing in Desktop Manager is:
"The device does not have enough space for your selections. Select fewer applications."
I am using BlackBerry Desktop Manager v5.0.1. My phone actually has Application Memory Free Space 301.5 MB. My BlackBerry's version is 5.0.0.732. I cannot update or delete software using BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Anyone know if there is a keyboard shortcut to access the calendar? If not, can I program one of the keyboard keys to access the calendar? I am already using both convenience keys.

Problem is, the BB is now completely reset and has none of my apps, contacts, pictures, videos, or anything else. Any ideas? I'm about to lose it here.

Now I am really, really starting to worry because it seems that in the next few months the TOUR 2 could be released. I am wondering if I will be able to return my Tour and get my money back, and my full upgrade and just wait for the Tour 2 to be released. If I have only had the phone for a few days, you think I will be able to switch to the Tour 2 no problem? I have sprint.
View 14 Replies View RelatedBold 9650 with Verizon will not allow me to reload BB Device Software. It displays the dreaded Error 513 -failed to install device driver, an Unspecified Error [hex code]. Popped battery, fully charged, retried 3+ times, upgraded BB Desktop software to Ver.7.1.0.32 (Bundle 33). Rebooted PC too, all to no avail.All started with trying to log into BB to get sync working again. Then hit max password attempts and some erroneous post on BB said you must allow Password File to reset and it won't delete all your files...WRONG. It sure does delete all and still no chance to reset the PW. So now I have a little brick.

When I open DM6 it says I have an upgrade available, click on it, asks me if I want to install I say yes, then a I get a screen that says ERROR, one or more modules could not be resolved? If I click on show all pics I see them but I can't get them to the card no matter what I try. Move says "up" and that's it. I see memory card but can't reach it.
I am going to Europe for 2 weeks in about a week. I have no reason to need to call/text/use 3g on vacation at all. However, it would be nice to be able to use wifi at hotels, hotspots, etc. Is it possible to just flip my sim card so I couldn't receive any calls or anything but the phone be able to use wifi and not cost me any money?

When I get to the Device Selection Screen at the bottom it says "The device does not have enough space for your selections. Select fewer applications." The only things selected are default things. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have my own URL which has mail boxes associated with it which my family and I use for our personal email. The URL/Mailboxes are hosted by GoDaddy. Beginning overnight night before last I stopped receiving email from my personal/primary email account on my BB, email is still downloading to Outlook on my PC. I have two other email accounts that I receive emails on setup on my BB, I tested both and they are both working. I have tried a number of things to no avail. They include:Battery Pull Send test email Check BIS site to see if email address needed re-validation. NOT! Resend Service Books Send test email Re-register on network via Options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table <It was suggested that I would find a "Blackberry Key" in the Host Routing Table but didn't find it. I pressed the BB key and selected "Register Now". I got a message that my device had been registered on the network. Resend Servcie Books Send test email That was last night. This morning I had received one email overnight, interestingly it was the same email I recieved the night before. (It is a morning devotional the I get daily. Maybe someone is trying to tell me something?) I tried another test email, no go.
I then logged into BIS again, I re-entered my password for my account, then in looking at the "Advanced Options" I noticed again that the mail server is a RIM server. I tried to change it to my mail server, the one I use in Outlook, which is a POP3 protocol server. It would not take. I tried to change the server from IMAP to POP3, thinking that the reason for non acceptance was a difference in protocols, but could find no way to do that.The server reset back to the RIM server, and I saved with the re-entered password. I then resent the Service Books again and then sent a test email which again didn't work.I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have, the end of the rope is in sight.Sorry for such a long email, didn't know how else to give enough info to show what had been done.
