Phone worked great for a week, then I installed the BBDM software and attempted to install a new app and It starts the process but at the end says it cannot connect to the device. Problem is, the BB is now completely reset and has none of my apps, contacts, pictures, videos, or anything else. Any ideas? I'm about to lose it here.

no matter what settings I use on the 9650 "Memory" settings. I cann't get any computer (Windows 7 or XP Pro) to recognize the device as "mass storage device" so I can access the memory card. There is plenty of items on the card, and I can access them fro mthe decive, but the computer won't "find" it. This is with DM 5.0 and 4.7, on windows XP Pro and Windows 7.

I have reformated my computer , installed iTunes again, i connected my iPhone 4 to iTunes and synced my iphone. Because my iphone was having problems, i need to restore it to the original settings.
I connected my iPhone to iTunes, i hit the restore button, then after restore was done, i restored the backup that i have done, but i have lost all my songs, apps, videos, and tones that i have both from iTunes. Only the photos and contacts and settings ware restored. What can i do to restore my iphone with all my data?
I accidentally back uped my iphoned, this deleted all of my phone contacts, texts etc...can i restore this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter activating my new 9650, I successfully used AppWorld to download a few apps. A few days later I noticed the Pandora icon was no longer on my desktop. Tried re-downloading but no results (device indicating that I was "replacing" the app). but no real problem because I could still start Pandora through "my world" on AppWorld. Yesterday, I was prompted to download the latest version of AppWorld. I did so and now I have no AppWorld icon and cannot load new apps. I get a message that the media is not supported by my device ( can still operate previously loaded apps with the exception of Pandora).

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded from a 9630 to a 9650. I went into my BIS account and tried to update the pin but it refuses to recognize my new BB. I called my Cell provider and everything is working on their end, my new pin is registered and works fine.When I click on the Detect new device button i just get the following error
"Unable to detect new device. It may take a few minutes for a new device to be detected. Make sure your SIM card is in your new device and try again. If you do not have a SIM card, make sure your device is activated and try again."The device is activated and all data as well as phone works fine. I can manually setup my emails on the phone itself but in the email settings wizard i have no option to log into an existing account either.
My BB Bold 9650's flash and led stopped working and the mic's volume had weakened. Whats the prob here? Is it software specifically the OS? Device error 300 when I hard reset it.

ok, so i wanted to try to free up some memory space and delete some apps that i didn't need using desktop manager on my mac. i plug in the device, open desktop manager, click on the applications button, uncheck all the unnecessary apps (brickbreaker, asian languages, etc). when i go to proceed, i get a pop-up:
i can't seem to delete anything and i've checked online, but still no help. can someone help me out or guide me to where i may get some help?

Now I am really, really starting to worry because it seems that in the next few months the TOUR 2 could be released. Popped battery, fully charged, retried 3+ times, upgraded BB Desktop software to Ver.7.1.0.32 (Bundle 33). Rebooted PC too, all to no avail.All started with trying to log into BB to get sync working again. Then hit max password attempts and some erroneous post on BB said you must allow Password File to reset and it won't delete all your files...WRONG. It sure does delete all and still no chance to reset the PW. So now I have a little brick.

I was not able to restore connections. The only way to get them back working was to go in settings, mobile networks, then perform diagnostic test which usually fixes the issue. I was told today by a VZW rep that this is happening because I have wifi turned on. Is this correct?

BUT when i connect via a wi-fi connection it works fine. So i don't understand the problem. I have a data plan and everything when i got my 9700, so i dont see why it wont work for 9650
