Aug 15, 2011I have a new Storm and have just suffered a major disaster due to the default setting that deletes old appointments in Calendar if they are over 60 days old.
Blackberry - change your defaults to retain any information FOREVER rather than hiding a default deep in the Calendar options set to 60 days which no-one knows about till it is too late - I have lost 4 years of critical project schedules and activities simply because I bought a new phone!! Judging by a couple of other posts on these forums others have also suffered this unwanted 60-day default. It is just so much more logical that the Users make a concious decision to have automatic deletion.
how I can recover my lost calendar entries - since they have been deleted out of my Outlook as well.

e.g. today is 1/1, I can only see the earliest appointment on 18/12 (last 2nd Sunday)

Jun 10, 2011When I synchronize my Blackberry Pearl, my old appointments get deleted from both my device and my outlook account. I have changed the settings to keep appointments continuously so it is not the usual X days of old appointments selected. No option related seems to be on the Blackberry Desktop Software.

Feb 26, 2010We just implemented BlackBerry Professional Server with a handful of users and I've noticed the following behavior: When a calendar appointment is created on the BB, it syncs with Outlook and appears there as well. If the appointment is then deleted in Outlook it remains on the BlackBerry. If the appointment is created and deleted on the BB it appears and disappears in Outlook just fine. Can anyone assist in troubleshooting this one?

Jun 30, 2012I have an iPhone 4 and lately my iMessages have been deleting on its own. For example: In the middle of April 2012, I got a friend's number & we started texting. We stopped texting the very end of May because they got a new number. I like to go back & read old conversations, but when I go back to the beginning of our conversations in April, they are no longer there. It started the conversation like a week after we first started texting.
When I go to delete text messages that they sent twice by a mistake, some of the beginning of our conversation in April comes back. I don't understand why my past conversations are deleting on its own ONLY for iMessage. My SMS text messages for one person are all still there, from when we very first started texting to 2 days ago. Why is it not like that anymore for my iMessage conversations?

BB Storm 9500 :: Wont Get Past The White Loading Screne
Feb 24, 2010Today i put my storm on my desktop and looked at it for it had shut itself off then it tried loading itself up again it got past the black screne to a white one trying to load and then it just stops a message pops up saying something like jump: PFault something like that then it shuts off red light comes up
restart
then goes away then it tries again with the same result. the battery is charged and i dont know what to do any suggestions hat may get it to work again. the error message lasts about 1 second before going away
id give more info but i cant get to it and batery pull isnt working

It started last week when my phone was not showing my contact name with the phone number when someone would call me. I went to go and pull up a number today and my entire contact book was empty.
I have already tried the following:
-Battery pull, waited for 15 secs.
-Checked my address book filters-both boxes are unchecked
-completed a restore,still nothing!

BB Storm 9500 :: OS 5 Updated Deleted MMS Messages?
Jan 24, 2010I just updated my Storm to OS 5 using Desktop Manager and it backed up and restored everything except my existing MMS messages. Is there any way I can get these back? Can I find out if they are just not displaying somehow or if Desktop Manager backed them up and just didn't restore them?

Jan 8, 2010Whenever I connect my Storm to my laptop to transfer videos on to the media card in my Storm, when I disconnect it, and go to media:video, every video that I have ever had on my phone is listed. A battery pull refreshes the list, and it then only shows the videos that are actually currently on the card. Is there any way I can refresh the list without rebooting?

May 4, 2010My Storm 1 crashed Sunday night with message on screen stating 'Reload Softwares 552'. I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free!
