View 1 RepliesIt seems iphone's calendar automatically deletes past appointments. It won't even let me make an appointment for something that happened in the past. I need to reference old appointments though so is there some way to make the iphone save old appointments or at least ask me? It has nothing to do with syncing to my computer as I rarely do that. This is really annoying. My old Palm would save everything and it was great since I could go back and see the last time I went to the dentist, etc.

I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have began to implement the mobile version of the Sage Sales Logix application on Blackberry Bold devices and we are having an issue with calendar appointments being created on the BB inside this app are not holding the correct time when the client version of this application is accessed. We have tried to work with Sage support on this issue, but they think this is a setting issue on the actual device.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy last phone was a Curve and I sync'ed my calendar with Google Calendar - not a good idea. I soon discovered that my entries were being deleted (even though they were tagged to stay in the calendar Forever).About a year ago I shifted to the Bold 9790.A good phone, everything is fine, EXCEPT, my calendar entries are still being deleted. Is there any solution for this?I use my calendar religiously to store appointments and am finding my history being deleted. Only the re-curring calendar entries seem to survive this techno-cull.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI enter events into my BB calender such as "santa run 9am" on saturday december 8th and a couple hours later it deletes itself - it does this for every event I enter.?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy bb calendar has been deleting events recently, I will add them to the calendar and it will be there for a few days. After a couple of days, I will go back and check it, when I go to check it, amazingly it is gone. I do sync with google calendar using googlesync, but the entries are on the google calendar, just not on the bb calendar. I am using 5.xx411 vodafone release.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI synced my phone with my work calendar and since then the phone likes to wake me up extra early with reminders about things happening that day. This is driving me crazy - How do I get rid of all the appointments?I've tried options/ delete - but it will only let me delete the ones in the past.I've tried changing the date on the phone and deleting them - and it says it's done it but the appointments are still there.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo a little background about the way I have my calendar set up. I have multiple email address set up on my BB, and then use the BB calendar to keep all of these different calendars in one spot. It also allows me to have a color coded system in my calendar (work is one color, personal is one, etc), see the picture. This is probably the place where I'm different than others, I started keeping it on the BB before setting up my outlook calendar, yahoo calendar, or either of my google calendars. Is there a way to sync from the phone to the other calendars without ending up deleting my BB calendar inputs or ending up with duplicates or ending up with all of the events under one calendar.I hope that makes sense. I'm using BIS and OS 4.6.0.304 if that matters.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI tried to delete a few recurring appointments from my calendar. When I view my calendar the appointments still appear. I attempt to try and delete the appointments again and I receive the following message:
Appointment deleted externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed.Does anyone know how I can delete my appointments and not have them appear? In some cases, the same appointment is listed twice.
I just noticed in my Blackberry that all my appointments are purging out for the previous month. This is a very serious situation because I need to refer back to my calendar and look at past appointments. I checked my sync settings and I have it set that my phone overrides my Outlook calendar and on my phone I have it set to save appointments forever.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHad my torch for a week now, all works great except I get no reminders at all from the calendar for appointments, no pop up on screen, no tones or vibrates. If I set a reminder alarm then that works, so does the alarm clock in the morning and all of my message alerts, phone, text, e-mail etc, but nothing from the calendar appointments.
View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing the search function I am not able to search the calendar for appointments. For example, I see, on my calendar, that it says "Soni birthday" for May 23. However, I could not enter "Soni" in the search function, select calendar, and find the date of her birthday. Same for all appointments, recurring and single entries.

I have a Verizon iPhone 4s running IOS 5.1.1 (9B206) managed by Mobile Iron and synchronizing with an Exchange Server 2007 SP3. It appears that certain calendar entries, which are present when viewed in Outlook, are not synching over to the iPhone. The only pattern I have been able to establish is that most of the appointments in question are calendar invites from other parties. The interesting thing is that the majority of appointments that are invites from other parties synchronize over to the iPhone fine, and I have worked through a number of test scenarios, but can't seem to pinpoint the cause of the issue. I have read through a number of threads and it seems that this has affected others as well, but no proposed solutions I have tried thus far seem to fix the issue.

I have setup the desktop software to have 2-way synch between Outlook and the Calendar. if I add an entry in Outlook, it appears on the device, and if I edit an existing entry on the device, the change appears in Outlook. These calendar entries appear in a calendar called 'Default'. There is also another calendar called 'Desktop' which has a CICAL service book associated to it, but there is no CICAL for the 'default' calendar.
If I add a new appointment on the device, it will only allow it to be added to the 'Desktop' calendar, but since this is not the one that is being synchronised with Outlook, the appointment does not get transferred to Outlook.
I do not want to change to wireless sysnchronisation since this does not seem to work for my default Outlook calendar which is in my local pst file rather than on the exchange server account.
Can I copy existing appointments with all details and paste it into another day where the details are identical? (could do this easily in my Palm)
I know you can duplicate for consequtive days in BB but what about where there is a gap between days?
So I downloaded a stupid Memory Boost app and it deleted all my Appointments 1 year back..Is there a way to restore them? I have no backup or anything similar..Are these stored somewhere so I can use some kind of data recovery software?
View 9 Replies View RelatedCan someone maybe enlighten me as to why my past appointments in my calendar keep deleting, it appears to be after I have deleted the browser history! I did not realise this was linked to the calendar.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a reoccurring problem with appointments that are set in Outlook that will appear immediately on my iPhone calendar, but when I check back later sometimes the event has been deleted from my iPhone calendar but not from my Outlook calendar. It's driving me mad. Some of the times it does this is when I send an invite through outlook for an event to another user. The event will appear on my iPhone calendar but once the other person accepts my event invitation it will disappear from my iPhone calendar, but remain on my Outlook calendar. It doesn't do this everytime, but seems to be when I notice this happening the most.
On my phone settings I have the outlook calendar set as my default calendar. My iPhone is also synched with two gmail accounts a Hotmail and an icloud account. The only calendars I actually use however are my Outlook and the the iPhone calendar.

I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.I love the calendar and it an do everything I want it to do bar one thing. When I have appointments that run on the same day each week but then finishes at a certain time of the year the calendar won't save them. I keep getting a message saying something along the lines of the appointment being too long for the time given.
example. My daughter goes to gymnastics every monday between 4pm - 6pm. She started in August and the course finishes in october.I can add the appointment to the calendar, put how long the appt is for and say it's every monday. Then I cahnge the dates to the date the appt started (august) to the date it ends (october) and it won't save it. I had a blackberry before my nokia (yuck horrid thing) and could do it no problem with that and I don't see why the nokia can't do the same.
Am I doing something wrong? I've ended up just adding the appt from August saying every monday for specified length of time but it runs way over as I've put every monday so no end date. This means I'll have to delete it when the time s up and start again when the new dates happen. It's all well and fine to just delete the ones she is on holiday from but I never know when the next course starts back until near the end and I am a busy woman so need to know what's happening when etc in my life.
I have checked the time zones on both my outlook calendar and BB. They are set correctly. If I set an appointment for 8am in Outlook, it displays as 9am on my BB calendar. Also it should be said that my phone automatically syncs via an enterprise server. I do not hardwire my BB to my computer. My BB has accurately sync'd with my computer for over a year until now. I tried changing the option in outlook that "accounts for DST", and that didn't work either.
