Twice in the past week or so, my calendar on my phone has been wiped completey clean! This is so inconveniant because I keep all my appointments and kids activities in it! I've had a blackberry for 6 years and this has never happened before and of course my year warranty has conveniantly just expired when this problem began.

I soon discovered that my entries were being deleted (even though they were tagged to stay in the calendar Forever).About a year ago I shifted to the Bold 9790.A good phone, everything is fine, EXCEPT, my calendar entries are still being deleted.Is there any solution for this?I use my calendar religiously to store appointments and am finding my history being deleted. Only the re-curring calendar entries seem to survive this techno-cull.

After a couple of days, I will go back and check it, when I go to check it, amazingly it is gone. I do sync with google calendar using googlesync, but the entries are on the google calendar, just not on the bb calendar. I am using 5.xx411 vodafone release.

I have multiple email address set up on my BB, and then use the BB calendar to keep all of these different calendars in one spot. It also allows me to have a color coded system in my calendar (work is one color, personal is one, etc), see the picture.This is probably the place where I'm different than others, I started keeping it on the BB before setting up my outlook calendar, yahoo calendar, or either of my google calendars. Is there a way to sync from the phone to the other calendars without ending up deleting my BB calendar inputs or ending up with duplicates or ending up with all of the events under one calendar.I hope that makes sense. I'm using BIS and OS 4.6.0.304 if that matters.

My calendar keeps deleting the appointments from the past. It seems to only keep things in the current month and the future months, but nothing in the past. I have checked the calendar settings, and it is set to keep my appointments forever, which is the setting I have used with my past BBs (including the 9800, which is what I had before this one). I just tried changing it to 90days tonight, but I won't find out for a while if that may fix this glitch. Even if it did, I want to keep my past appointments for longer than that.I don't use Outlook or any calendar program on my computer. I am on a BIS. This phone was purchased new so it was never activated on a BES. It is running the current OS. (7.1.0.267) I reboot the phone on a regular basis to keep it running smoothly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe calendar entries are disappearing. I have Keep Forever checked. I generally have between 12-20 MB free app space; right now it's at 19. None of my tasks, emails or SMS/MMS are disappearing, only my calendar entries from previous months.
I use the Storm's calendar as my client scheduling tool -- I NEED to know when I last saw clients for my quarterly and year end reports. I use Nice Office as a CRM and backup -- but when I asked them, they looked into the sync and said the delete was coming from the BB itself, not from them. I do not use Outlook, as I don't run on Windows.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt seems iphone's calendar automatically deletes past appointments. It won't even let me make an appointment for something that happened in the past. I need to reference old appointments though so is there some way to make the iphone save old appointments or at least ask me? It has nothing to do with syncing to my computer as I rarely do that. This is really annoying. My old Palm would save everything and it was great since I could go back and see the last time I went to the dentist, etc.

After a few days my iphone 4s calendar deletes all my current, past and future events . I am not syncing with my computer or doing anything except entering information directly on the calendar using my phone. I would like to sync my work one with Thunderbird/Lightening, my personal gmail calendar with gmail, my other side project gmail calendar with gmail account2 and my yahoo calendar with yahoo.
I can't stop sync deleting past calendar entries. Using torch 9800 and OS6 2949 with outlook 2007. I tried configuring for hours but syncing still comes up trying to delete entries more than few months old, which I want to keep. I tried 'upcoming entries only' (then it wants to delete over 1000 entries!!) and can't get the 'advanced' filters option to make any difference.

Now when I try to sync, I get a message that over 600 of my past calendar items will be deleted if I continue with sync. I need to keep previous calendar items, is there a way to solve this problem and not delete past events? I am sorry for asking this question, I am just new and very unsure of what I am doing. I had used missing sync before, but when my blackberry had to be replaced, new blackberry wouldn't work so I wanted to try desktop manager.

the email account is already defined as the default account for calendar (CICAL)!! My colleauge have 9790 using the same server, and the same setting, and the calendar is sync properly through wireless. I tried sync throug bb Desktop Manager, it worked. I dont have BES, so I set up my Microsoft Exchange email as internet based account. the emails are being sync properly between handheld and the server.
Does anybody know how I keep all of my past appointments on the Electrify? I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Additionally, even though my google calendar is scheduled out for the entire year, my phone calendar stops at December 15th, 2012.
