Italy and he needs to delete his email off he's blackberry as its costing too much but when he tries to delete it, it asks for he's app world id and password which he doesn't remember nor does he know the answer to he's secret question to reset the password. he has tried to create a new id but it doesn't want to work??
how to go about deleting an email account from my 9900 Bold. I have tried reading the explanation in the knowledge base, but I cannot even figure out how to Log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service account.
how to delete an email address from a BB 9900 please? I have tried all ways to delete the email address and have been unsuccessful. Am getting very frustrated now as the phone needs to have all info removed due to sale. Have managed to delete all information apart from the email address.
I recently received a replacement Blackberry Bold device. On my old phone I had it set up to ask whether I wanted to delete email messages on just the handheld device or both. I like having the option. On this replacement device I can't find this optional setting. I'm even having a hard time accessing the various email options.
I migrated to a different carrier. I setup a new blackberry email address on it. When I used BB Desktop Manager restore to bring my data onto the 9700, it brought my old email address along with it. The new carrier has no clue on how to erase it. I have to be careful now to make sure I am choosing new carrier when sending out emails otherwise they won't send. How do I delete the old carrier email address? From the handset or from Desktop Manager?
I use a Curve 8310 as my work BB (through an enterprise server) and recently acquired a Bold 9700 for my personal email accounts. I used the "Switch Device" option on my BB Desktop Manager, to trasfer contacts from my work BB to the 9700. All this was a breeze. Unfortunately what this also did was transfer my work email folders (all archive folders) on to the 9700. So in the email application on the 9700, if I select "View Folder" from the menu key, I see a whole bunch of archive folders. I have no use for these folders on the 9700 but cannot find a way to delete them.Is there a way that I can delete all these redundant email archive folders from the 9700?
I use gmail and when I delete an email on the web, it doesn't delete on my BB. The same goes for when I open an email on the web, it doesn't show 'read' on my BB. Interestingly though, if I delete or read an email on my BB, the action is reciprocated on the web.And finally, if I send myself an email (either from the web or my BB), it appears on the web but not on my BB.
I recently had an issue with my device and ended up deleting my @windmobile.blackberry.com email address. Now when I want to put it back it gives me an error. When I try it on the BIS web site it says that the email address or password are incorrect, fine, so I might have forgotten the password but it's doubtful as I really only use 2 passwords.
How can I get it back? Don't they have security questions somewhere?
All of the sudden, my bb is deleting emails right after I read them so they do not remain in my inbox. What can I do to change these settings so that emails only delete when I initiate it?
I have an email that I think got corrupted and I am unable to delete it. I have tried all the reboot methods. I cannot remember it but there was a keystroke combination that will allow the deletion.
I am trying to delete an email account but when I click on SETUP> EMAIL SETTINGS > I am asked to enter user name and psswd. I am not given an option to view my current email accounts to choose one to delete. In addition, after I enter user name and psswd, I am then told to re-enter a user name b/c it is blank (which it isn't).

It would seem there is a bug in 6.0 Bundle 2647. I go into setup/email ccounts/internet email. After selecting internet email, it simply returns o the setup dialog. I cannot seem to get to a screen where I can delete my gmail account
I have just replaced my old phone with the iPhone 4S and it is great. I am going thorugh the learning curve, and want to be as effcient as I can be as quickly as I can. My first challenge is to try and delete multiple e-mails, rather than doing it one at a time. How can I delete consectutive emails from my in box? I still get junk mail and it would be so much easier to highlight a bunch of them if I could. With my old phone I would click on one of the messages and then start touching the screen below that point and it would include all of the messages in between.
I have verizon and yahoo email set up on my iphone. Once i read the mail on my iphone how do I have it deleted on my pc so I don't have to go into PC and redelete it.
I have set up a new email account on my phone but the old one still appears as an icon etc. I have read forums about deleting the old email by going to:Options ---> Device ---> Advanced System Settings ---> Service bookBut somehow the old email has a padlock icon next to it and cannot be deleted. I am having real issues with this, since I have been trying since I canned our internet service in February to delete the email account on my BB Curve to no avail.When I try to go into Settings --> Setup Wizard --> Email setup --> indicate to create or add an email address (Next) --> Next --> Enter my user name and password.... I keep getting an error message that my User name is "Blank user name. Type a valid user name.".... this is STUPID! It IS filled in!
I have BB Curve 8530 with two different email addresses going to my phone. One provider's emails will delete in my online mailbox, but the other will not.I don't want to have to delete emails twice, from BB and online.
But when i am in my google inbox, and i swipe the email header to delete the email, it says archive. On my work exchange it says delete. Why? Does anyone else have this? Can't really says its a problem just an observation
