View 3 RepliesI changed my email password and BB then asked to validate the same on the phone. I did. But it says invalid username/password and asked to contact the email provider. But it is the correct one (I signed in my account online just fine). I don't understand what the problem is. I even rebooted my phone twice. I tried the Gmail troublershooter, but there seems to be no way to communicate this problem. I really need to solve this as it is a Gmail id I use daily, especially for work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a BB curve 9300 in Singapore and later i looked back and found that it is BB Tmobile. Everything is ok when I set up but email set up there is no personal email setup option and there is only enterprise email set up option which I don't have. Kindly advise how can I set up? I am ok if it needs to format or reset/delete all data on my mobile.
View 7 Replies View RelatedBrand new to this forum. I've had a Curve 8900 for two years without a problem. Everything works OK. I've just got a new Curve (Same model) - but when I swap over the SIM card the Email is not configured. The phone and messaging work fine but if I try and send an Email it says "No message services configured. You will be redirected to setup wizzardto set up your Email account" then it says "No message services configured, you will only be able to save to draft".But if a I swap averything back to my old phone it all works fine - no problem. What am I doing wrong or what do I have to do to get my Emails working on the new phone Thanks in advance.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530.I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email. However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured".That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry.I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up.But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done. I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone.I am a bit of an electrical gimp.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an X10 mini pro (U20a) upgraded to Android 2.1. I wish to use the Email application with a POP3 email account, as I had done when the device was running Android 1.6. However, with 2.1 there is no option for me to configure the settings for Email.
Running Email opens a screen titled "Email account" with two already populated fields (username and password I assume) and a button labelled "Continue".Clicking Continue results in an error message: "Authentication error. Check username and password."
The username field is populated with "Telstra" (the Australian mobile network who I bought the handset from) and is not editable. The password is hidden by asterisks but is editable.I seem to recall a similar issue when the handset was originally running 1.6 and the workaround was to configure the Email account via the menu: Settings > Sony Ericsson > etc.
Now with 2.1, I can go to Settings > Sony Ericsson > but nothing for Email. Under Sony Ericsson the choices are:
1. Camera
2. Settings download
3. Timescape settings
But nothing for Email. And clicking "Settings download" does nothing. How do I use the Email application on this phone???
All of the sudden, my bb is deleting emails right after I read them so they do not remain in my inbox. What can I do to change these settings so that emails only delete when I initiate it?

I have tried to delete and readd it, it was there before but then I had to take my phone in to get fixed because it kept rebooting everytime I put it on a hard surface. It keeps coming back with 'no message services configured. You will be redirected to the setup wizard to setup your email' but it is already set up it just wont connect/link.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe just received our first android phone. It is as stated HTC Aria. We little disappointed with it.
1. There is no visual voicemail build-in. Is the app through android market good enough? Does it work fine?
2. Yahoo email cannot be configured through build-in mail app. We downloaded Yahoo app and so far it works OK.
3. Facebook for Aria is not the same as for iPhone (chat is missing).
Here is my question: Did it come with the latest SW version? Is SW update (2.2 I guess) coming soon?I know some of you will say I needed to wait for Samsung phone. This phone was bought for my wife and she wanted HTC only
I am having real issues with this, since I have been trying since I canned our internet service in February to delete the email account on my BB Curve to no avail. When I try to go into Settings --> Setup Wizard --> Email setup --> indicate to create or add an email address (Next) --> Next --> Enter my user name and password.... I keep getting an error message that my User name is "Blank user name. Type a valid user name.".... this is STUPID! It IS filled in!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just finished configuring the email client on E75 (this may or may not have relevance)(Fw:211.12.01). Since then an unknown data connection keeps coming up. No application is running, but there is an active connection, shown by the icon and by the connection manager. If I disconnect it from the manager, it comes back again in a couple of minutes. The data rate is 5-10 kB/hour, so no large data traffic is made.
However, I do not like at all that the phone initiates 3G connection without my permission, or without being able to figure out exactly what application is doing it. Automatic updates, mail check, agps, etc. are all set to off.) Has anyone experienced this? Is there any utility to find what exactly is using the data connection? I will try a backup, reset, restore, but this won't make me any satisfied with this product.
I have a new 8530 and even though I select "Delete on mailbox and Handheld" every time I delete an email, it only will delete it on the Blackberry. Reverse is also true, when I delete email on my laptop the emails do not delete on Blackberry (not sure if this is even an option). This happens on both my gmail account and my comcast account.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI currently have a Blackberry 8330, v4.5.0.186 (Platform 3.4.0.59).I used to be prompted to delete emails off both my blackberry and my home computer's Windows Mail. I think after updating the Blackberry, this option was no longer available, which requires me to read emails on my Blackberry and then to have to delete them off my home computer.
Does anyone know of a way that I can restore this function to my Blackberry?
Previous to recent update, I could delete messages either on just the 8330 or I could delete the message from both the 8330 and the primary e-mail box from which it transferred. Now after the update, I can only delete from the 8330. Is there a way to get this feature back?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Blackberry Storm 9530 four days ago. Since the purchase was made, one email tag remains in the upper left portion of the screen, and I cannot determine what the source of it is, and therefore, cannot delete it. I have checked every email, every voicemail, every Blackberry Messenger message, every text message (all coming in or going out), and everything in the phone in and out box coming in or going out. I cannot find the source of the tag anywhere. I even took the battery out and put it back in, but I cannot determine why the tag is there. Does anyone have any idea why it is doing this, and if so, how do I get rid of it? Thanks.
