I am trying to delete an email account but when I click on SETUP> EMAIL SETTINGS > I am asked to enter user name and psswd. I am not given an option to view my current email accounts to choose one to delete. In addition, after I enter user name and psswd, I am then told to re-enter a user name b/c it is blank (which it isn't).
I am having real issues with this, since I have been trying since I canned our internet service in February to delete the email account on my BB Curve to no avail. When I try to go into Settings --> Setup Wizard --> Email setup --> indicate to create or add an email address (Next) --> Next --> Enter my user name and password.... I keep getting an error message that my User name is "Blank user name. Type a valid user name.".... this is STUPID! It IS filled in!
I have deleted my configured e-mail from my blackberry 8520 curve but I don't know how to remove e-mail messages which is still reflecting in the message icon at the main screen.
I've bought a Blackberry Curve 9300 a few weeks ago and I've added 3 e-mail accounts to it the same day to see how it works, it worked fine on the first day but on the next one it stopped working. Only then I created a BIS account - which TIM is my carrier -. Now the problem is: I can't delete these 3 accounts I've added earlier. I've tried to add them again trying to make it work properly, but I am unable to re-add them. On my BIS carrier website, It says that I've reached the maximum e-mail accounts.
How can I delete these e-mail accounts? I've tried the methods found on the web, like the one to "reconciliate"(?) the e-mail account option through wifi (on the phone). PS: My Blackberry is running a 6.0 bundle 2391 OS.
I am just reloading my blackberry after a repair for constant crashing and rebooting.all is well except when I enter blackberry set up and click the email account icon, nowt happens! all the others work. I can make and receive calls, any ideas what I can do to reconnect my email account? ( it does not crash anymore!)
I have lost my BB curve 9300 and my e-mail and facebook accounts are linked with it. I know even a sim card is replaced the other person would still be able to view my accounts. I spoke my service provider and they said here is nothing they can do, i dont know why. I dont remember creating a BIS account. It was my private gmail account lined to BB.
My blackberry 9300 wont allow me to set up a personal email account there's only the enterprise activation option what should I do to be able to set up a personal account
I bought my first BlackBerry (Curve 3G 9300) on Friday and tried to setup a personal email account on the phone via the setup wizard earlier today. The phone said that an update to 6.11...... was needed in order to do this. I let it update, now the phone is just hanging after starting up. If I do a start up after removing the battery it comes up with a black screen with the BlackBerry logo and a progress bar below it. The progress bar moves along until the end, this takes around a minute. It then shows something like a little clock over the logo for about a second. Once this disappears the phone says with the logo and the completed progress bar - and just hangs there.

how to go about deleting an email account from my 9900 Bold. I have tried reading the explanation in the knowledge base, but I cannot even figure out how to Log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service account.
I have had a few problems with my curve occassionally deciding to delete old calendar entries. I have ensured that the options are set to "keep appointments forever". I have multiple calendars on the phone so wonder if it has something to do with that?rhaps there is a way that each calendar has to be set to keep appointments forever?owever, it looks to me likethe option "keep appointments forever" applies to all calendars.ll the support info I can find just says the problem comes from having the calendar set to delete appointments prior to a certain date, but this is not the case here.
I bought my friends CS from her and we are not able to delete her email account. We have tried selecting delete, it responds but doesn't finish, it keeps saying 'Deleting account' how to delete her account?
I use a Curve 8310 as my work BB (through an enterprise server) and recently acquired a Bold 9700 for my personal email accounts. I used the "Switch Device" option on my BB Desktop Manager, to trasfer contacts from my work BB to the 9700. All this was a breeze. Unfortunately what this also did was transfer my work email folders (all archive folders) on to the 9700. So in the email application on the 9700, if I select "View Folder" from the menu key, I see a whole bunch of archive folders. I have no use for these folders on the 9700 but cannot find a way to delete them.Is there a way that I can delete all these redundant email archive folders from the 9700?
I am coming from a Motorola RAZRMAXX to the Motorola Moto X Pure and have found all good for the most part. One thing I am attempting to do is to prevent email deletes on the handset from deleting email on the server account.
I am using blackberry curve 9300. I would like to know whether deleting application can give more free spaces for my storage space. It is because I have only dwl whatsapp till now, and there is ony 105 MB free space left while there is almost 400MB in total. whether deleting apps is useful?
For a brief period I had my personal Gmail account on the phone as well, while I was in between personal phones. I have since deleted Gmail from my BB and no longer receive my Gmail emails on there. Great. However, my Gmail account is still listed in the calendar and contacts function. I would like to delete those and can not figure out how to do it in my settings.
I currently have BES and when I delete my emails from my device, they are not deleting from my outlook account. I do have delete from mailbox and handheld, have changed this setting, saved, and changed it back and still not working.

I have tried some of the answers to other questions on here and they have not worked. I have already deleted the service book, restarted the phone and still no luck.

I suddenly am unable to send invites for calendar events that I create on my BB Curve 9300. I found a lot of my e-mails in a POP folder that I had never seen before in my hotmail inbox. Tried a battery jack. We re-downloaded the OS. Flushed the e-mail account from the BlackBerry device to reset it. Tried deleting applications. Tried a restoration of the device. Nothing worked...
just deleted an old email account and set up a new one on device. however all the old contacts remain. how do i get rid of them. they only go if i delete email account but once i set up a new account the old contacts appear. theres too many i want to delete them.
