I am using blackberry curve 9300. I would like to know whether deleting application can give more free spaces for my storage space. It is because I have only dwl whatsapp till now, and there is ony 105 MB free space left while there is almost 400MB in total. whether deleting apps is useful?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded from a 8520 to 9300 and Im having problems with the application memory free space. I only have 55.1MB of free space and I cant download apps in app world cos it uses up all the free space. My space has been as low as 6.1MB. This is my 2nd phone from Virgin as I had the problem with the 1st 9300 and I had to send it back and they said that it was a problem that cant be fixed so they sent me a reconditioned phone but this phone seems to have the same problem too.
I have a 4gb media card installed to save all my pics and music onto.
my device memory application storage is showing only 25 mb and it is automatically gets reduced over day why is it so? it comes down to 1 mb and then I restart my phone and problem is solved again 25 mb.only few application is installed on my curve 3g , and y so less of application storage as phone memory comes wid 200 mb

I use my s2 as a storage device to transfer files between home and work but the free space on my usb storage seems to be lower than it should be.The total space says 11.50gb and between pictures, audio and downloads etc its says i am using 3.19gb but it lists my free space at 3.67gb so where is the missing 4.64gb? If i recall i used to have over 6gb of free space so im not sure why this has dropped. I havent added any more files since then because once ive transfered my files between home and work i delete them.

View 6 Replies View RelatedRecently I have been getting low application data free space messages on my balckberry bold 9700. I have upgraded the OS to version 6.0 bundle 2115. There are not much third party applications on my phone. From the application management screen I am seeing the OS taking up approximatey 127MB and the combined storage used by the third party applications I have running on my phone is approximately 50MB. However, I am seeing that there is only 7MB free out of 250MB of application data space.I suspect that the old OS is still stored on my phone in some system folders. Where can I find these files? and how can I troubleshoot this further?
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor about a week my phone has been adding extra periods and spaces when I press the space bar. This has been happening with SMS, MMS and email. I knw about that short-cut (press the space bar twice to enter periods) but its doing that after almost every word. I have changed the sensitivity to the lowest setting possible but it continues to do it, even when i text slow. Not sure as to what I should do.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAlthough I've not downloaded any applications for a couple of months, my free space has declined to less than 5 MB on a regular basis. I store no photos, chats, or emails on the internal memory, just the memory card, and just to see if I can fix things I delete large emails as they arrive to try to stave off the inevitable "0 KB Free" message. Lately of course the BB has been deleting emails and chats, apparently to regain space.
The last time the delete checklist popped up -- "you're about out of memory, why not delete some of the installed apps to retrieve space?" -- I deleted Sprint Navigation, which said it was taking up 71MB. I figured that would give me a lot of breathing room. It completely deleted, I hard-rebooted the device, and... no change to my available memory. I'm still losing space. As a matter of fact, after deleting it and receiving that message, I thought maybe it doesn't understand, so I tried reinstalling it and got the "insufficient memory for installation"! So now I deleted something that's potentially useful -- and worked -- and can't put it back on even though it was just deleted!
I have had a few problems with my curve occassionally deciding to delete old calendar entries. I have ensured that the options are set to "keep appointments forever". I downloaded social netwoking applications such as Twitter and Facebook directly from Backberry Phone. Unfortunately Facebook is not working error message as follows "You are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. If you want to use this application please contact your service provider to upgrade the plan". I tried to contact my service provider and they dont know also why.

[Lollipop] Under settings/Apps there is a list of apps together with the number of megabytes it ostensibly uses. I can click on that and see those megabytes divided into App and Date use.
But... Today I uninstalled "Real racing 3", which claimed to use up 84MB (app+data). Immediately after that, the amount of free storage climbed with a whooping 1.14GB ! (and total "App" usage decreased by the same amount).
Is there a more reliable way to find out how much space an app is using?
ive got a question regarding the facebook application on my blackberry.apparently downloading the application is free but what about actually using the application. do i have to pay for that or is it free aswell? furthermore, what about when im in a foreign country?
