As a frequent traveller to Japan, I would like the ability to view Japanese characters/fonts when browsing online. Or when reading emails written in Japanese. I have downloaded successfully the Japanese translator for the Dictionary. Which displays Japanses characters with no problem. But when I browse online the Japanese characters are unreadable.
I have tried changing the Default encoding setting: Options/Settings/Page/Default encoding. Then reloading the web pages. But same result. I don't necessarily need the ability to write in Japanese. Though it would be nice. But I would like the ability to view Japanese websites, and email's in their correct front. Are there language packs available for download? Or should I be directing my enquiry to my local Nokia Care agent?
I can't change my Xperia X8 phone language to Japanese. I`ve try, to go to SETTING --> LANGUAGE & KEYBOARD --> SELECT LOCALE but i can't find option for Japanese,
Is Japanese language available for the Xenon anywhere? The only Asian language listed under the Languages menu is Korean. But when I get e-mails in Japanese, they are partly readable (the hiragana and katakana are visible and displayed correctly, but the kanji don't show up properly). If the Xenon didn't ship with Japanese support, then is there some way to add it into the phone?
know a way of getting my BB 9900 to accept Japanese as an input language? I have a list on the phone already but not Japanese. I have previously managed to download something on an old BB 8900 - that worked fine - but not managed with the BB 9900.
I am trying to change the input language on my Blackberry Bold 9790 from English to Japanese i have used so many versions of blackberry desktop manager and i just can not seem to get it to work.

How can I install back the language pack after upgrading the 9300?Before I upgraded my blackberry software/firmware, my software/firmware was 1875, after when I upgraded from 1875 to 2475, the language pack then went missing.I then found another version of east asian from Vodafone which is the same one as mentioned above, 1875, I can't seem to install the language pack back in after when I've upgraded my phone software.I've deleted the old version of the software in my BB from my computer. My network is Vodafone. Is there a way to reinstall the version 1875 language pack, install it into 2647 language pack? I don't want to load it back into the old version 1875, but to load it in the new version of 2647.
I downloaded Desktop Software today (system 6.0) which went ok, although it doesn't connect to my curve (a separate issue!!) but from the same time I haven't been able to send any text messages, instead of a 'tick' by the sent message there is a little red symbol a sort of (three o clock on a clockface symbol).what this symbol means and is it connected to the software download?
My Blackberry Curve 9300 regularly reverts to a screen saying 'connecting to desktop'. The phone then 'freezes' on that screen and I cannot do anything and the only solution is to open the back, remove and replace the battery and wait for the phone to reboot. This seems to do the trick but it's happening quite frequently which is a major nuisance, particularly since the reboot process takes such an age. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?
I recently installed my desktop software for Blackberry curve 9300 and haven't been able to use it as I do not know the password? I have tried all my usuals and it didn't work. I have also tried the password I use to unlock my phone but this didn't work either. Does anyone know how I retrieve or reset the password?

I Just Installed BlackBerry Desktop Manager V5.01 and it wouldn't pick up my phone even though it's connected. I tried accessing the the BlackBerry Device Manager and it says 'The application has failed to start because XmlLite.dll was not found. Re-Installing the application may fix this problem.' - Of which I have done twice already. Is there a problem with this version of Desktop manager or any resolutions to fix this? I'm trying to upgrade my device to OS6.
