I recently installed my desktop software for Blackberry curve 9300 and haven't been able to use it as I do not know the password? I have tried all my usuals and it didn't work. I have also tried the password I use to unlock my phone but this didn't work either. Does anyone know how I retrieve or reset the password?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a pink blackberry curve 9360 and i have forgotten my keyboard lock password!! i am sure i typed my password in correcly but it wont work!! how to get more password tries,i am on my last try and i dont want all my pictures deleted!! i have my olympic pictures on there and i couldnt possibly get rid of them! i dont think i have an problem if anything else had to be wiped!! if someone could tell me what exactly is wiped on it if my last password attempt fails and wonder if if my micro sd card is wiped too!! is there a way of recieving my password through blackberry somehow!! my phone is insured if that makes any difference!

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry Curve 9300 regularly reverts to a screen saying 'connecting to desktop'. The phone then 'freezes' on that screen and I cannot do anything and the only solution is to open the back, remove and replace the battery and wait for the phone to reboot. This seems to do the trick but it's happening quite frequently which is a major nuisance, particularly since the reboot process takes such an age. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?

When I sync my BB using desktop manager the time zone re-sets itself from GMT Dublin London time to Eniwetok-12 gmt ( I don't even know were Eniwetok is) . Here's some of the settings and systems information. On the Blackberry under Date and Time the update time is set to automatic, time zone- 12 hour-auto update. On the Desktop Software I have all the default settings to standard 2 way sync default with Microsoft Outlook 2007. The time zone on my computer is GMT London Dublin. I am running on Windows 7 - 64 bit.

When I hooked up my phone it asked for my password which I entered only it hasn't accepted it. I'm now down to my final go and don't really want to end up wiping my phone, I know I probably should have stopped trying sooner but I was frustrated.
It appears that the desktop software has changed my password, is there some sort of default it would have changed it to or am I destined to lose all the data on my phone?
