I have recently purchased a pink blackberry curve 9360 and i have forgotten my keyboard lock password!! i am sure i typed my password in correcly but it wont work!! how to get more password tries,i am on my last try and i dont want all my pictures deleted!! i have my olympic pictures on there and i couldnt possibly get rid of them! i dont think i have an problem if anything else had to be wiped!! if someone could tell me what exactly is wiped on it if my last password attempt fails and wonder if if my micro sd card is wiped too!! is there a way of recieving my password through blackberry somehow!! my phone is insured if that makes any difference!
Phone was originally a work phone, now personal. But originally set up to change keypad lock every 90 days and to have 6 attempts. Work no longer set up with BES?
For first time ever i changed keypad lock code and now can't remember it. It have used up 5 out of 6 attempts and am now on last attempt,

i just updated my curve to the 5.0 or something. on the old setting i could lock the keypad with the left convience key and then press *A and the left green phone buttons. however on having updated the phone it wont let me do this anymore. Does anyone know how i can get it so that i can lock the keypad without having to type in a password to unlock it?
I changed to a new blackberry and need to move my blackberry email address to my new phone. Unfortunately I can't remember my password (or what I thought was my password isn't recognized as such). How can I get this password so I can set up my email account so it will stop telling people I haven't received my emails?
I recently installed my desktop software for Blackberry curve 9300 and haven't been able to use it as I do not know the password? I have tried all my usuals and it didn't work. I have also tried the password I use to unlock my phone but this didn't work either. Does anyone know how I retrieve or reset the password?
My phone keeps emailing and calling random people from my contacts, because I am carrying it in my back pocket. The phone is very easily unlocked accidentally as the unlock button sits on top of it, sticking out of the holster. I have even tried placing it upward down into the holster but it still easily unlocks through the holster.
What is the most efficient way to keep the the device locked for back pocket storage? I could set up a password, but as the number of bad password inputs is obviously limited, I also do not want to have accidental password input.
Is there a way to deactivate the unlock button on top and use a key combination instead? Or anything else?
I just upgraded OS5 on my 8520 but after upgrading I can't see keypad lock option anywhere. Before there was keypad lock icon in menu but its just vanished now and I even checked all the folders its nowhere. How can I get it back?
I've just upgraded my 8520 to 5.0.0.681 and can't find the keyboard lock anywhere. I used to have it assigned to the left button and it no longer gives me this option.

I use A BlackBerry Curve 8900 I had to shut down my phone and when I tried to pwer it up the keypad lock was activated . I have tried to unlock it using the lock key and also the * key but both dont work. I have also tried doing a hard reboot ( removing the battery and then turning on the phone. This has not worked either. Is there anywya to bypass the keypad lock and also can the keypad lock be deactivated.

I have a BB 8530 on MetroPCS (CDMA) network. I saw thier was some updates for BB protect and a bunch of other apps so i updated them. After the reboot, it asked me for my keypad lock pass and upon entering it, it would not accept it. I know that what i am entering is correct as i entered it prior to the reboot.
i have tried diffrent variations of it with CAPs and symbols corresponding to the keys i KNOW are my pass but still no use. I am on 9/10.
I have logged in to my BB Protect online and tried to change the pass from thier but it keeps saying the current password is wrong which is impossible. Is there some deafult password it reverted to that i can try. I have tried everything.
So I updated my Curve to the new version 5. I noticed that there was no more Keyboard Lock/Password Lock. From my previous software, it was named Keyboard Lock and I set it as one of my convenience keys. After the update, I noticed that it no longer existed. A friend of mine purchased a brand new Curve 8520 with the update already installed of course. She had the Keyboard Lock but it was named Password Lock instead. I have been searching for ways to get this feature back to my Blackberry because I feel it is more convenient rather than the "silent/mute mode" button located on the top of my device. How i can activate the automatic screen and keypad lock when i put my phone into the leather holster? My BB before the 9320 did this automatically , i did not have to activate anything , the new one doesn't to do it. And i have tried more than one holster.
When I turn on my BB, the numeric keypad is locked (123 sign on upper right activated).I am therefore unable to enter my password which contains letters.How can I unlock the numeric keypad, as all the other keys are inactive?
After not using my phone for a while, I forgot my lock code. I did a hard reset after removing battery for 10 minutes, and the phone was runing for some time - the lock code remained unkown but it booted, before it wanted the lock code to boot off, but after this my stupid head decided to update the phone - causing it to restart, and even worst now it not only again ask for the unknown lock code at boot, it also can't hard reset by the Green key,Red key, camera button switch on method + 10 minutes w/o battery. I can provide the IMEI from the box, if it will be of any use.
