View 3 Repliesmy calendar keeps deleting appointments. I have missed 3 in the past week! I can put something in and 2 hours later, it's gone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt seems iphone's calendar automatically deletes past appointments. It won't even let me make an appointment for something that happened in the past. I need to reference old appointments though so is there some way to make the iphone save old appointments or at least ask me? It has nothing to do with syncing to my computer as I rarely do that. This is really annoying. My old Palm would save everything and it was great since I could go back and see the last time I went to the dentist, etc.

I am having a problem with appointments in my calendar older than 30 days or so deleting themselves. I have checked the Calendar settings and I have checked "Keep Appointments Forever".

I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Additionally, even though my google calendar is scheduled out for the entire year, my phone calendar stops at December 15th, 2012.

I went into the calendar options on the device and told it to keep calendar appointments forever (learned the hard way from a previous Blackberry) and yet when it syncs the calendar it wants to delete appointments older than sixty days everytime I try to sync.
I've looked all over the boards here for options but so far I think I've done everything anyone suggests. I really hope this isn't just something I have to learn to live with or a price to pay for having a Blackberry. We don't use Enterprise Server yet, so my device syncs by plugging it directly into my computer at work.
Just got a Curve 8530 last week (U.S. Cellular). I can't figure out how to show my daily appointments/ calendar on the main screen like my 8330 did.Is there an option for this? or a free theme that does it?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a new 8530 and even though I select "Delete on mailbox and Handheld" every time I delete an email, it only will delete it on the Blackberry. Reverse is also true, when I delete email on my laptop the emails do not delete on Blackberry (not sure if this is even an option). This happens on both my gmail account and my comcast account.

Here's a screenie of my BBSAK "read system," showing that there is nothing with VVM on my phone, yet visual voice mail is still there, despite several restarts and different fixes. I'm running a T-Mobile Curve 8520 with .592.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had a few problems with my curve occassionally deciding to delete old calendar entries. I have ensured that the options are set to "keep appointments forever". I have multiple calendars on the phone so wonder if it has something to do with that?rhaps there is a way that each calendar has to be set to keep appointments forever?owever, it looks to me likethe option "keep appointments forever" applies to all calendars.ll the support info I can find just says the problem comes from having the calendar set to delete appointments prior to a certain date, but this is not the case here.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI synced my phone with my work calendar and since then the phone likes to wake me up extra early with reminders about things happening that day. This is driving me crazy - How do I get rid of all the appointments?I've tried options/ delete - but it will only let me delete the ones in the past.I've tried changing the date on the phone and deleting them - and it says it's done it but the appointments are still there.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried to delete a few recurring appointments from my calendar. When I view my calendar the appointments still appear. I attempt to try and delete the appointments again and I receive the following message:
Appointment deleted externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed.Does anyone know how I can delete my appointments and not have them appear? In some cases, the same appointment is listed twice.
I have lost the ability to send calendar appointments to other users? I am able to receive them and accept/decline etc, however all they get from me is a word type document?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just noticed in my Blackberry that all my appointments are purging out for the previous month. This is a very serious situation because I need to refer back to my calendar and look at past appointments. I checked my sync settings and I have it set that my phone overrides my Outlook calendar and on my phone I have it set to save appointments forever.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHad my torch for a week now, all works great except I get no reminders at all from the calendar for appointments, no pop up on screen, no tones or vibrates. If I set a reminder alarm then that works, so does the alarm clock in the morning and all of my message alerts, phone, text, e-mail etc, but nothing from the calendar appointments.
View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing the search function I am not able to search the calendar for appointments. For example, I see, on my calendar, that it says "Soni birthday" for May 23. However, I could not enter "Soni" in the search function, select calendar, and find the date of her birthday. Same for all appointments, recurring and single entries.

I have a Verizon iPhone 4s running IOS 5.1.1 (9B206) managed by Mobile Iron and synchronizing with an Exchange Server 2007 SP3. It appears that certain calendar entries, which are present when viewed in Outlook, are not synching over to the iPhone. The only pattern I have been able to establish is that most of the appointments in question are calendar invites from other parties. The interesting thing is that the majority of appointments that are invites from other parties synchronize over to the iPhone fine, and I have worked through a number of test scenarios, but can't seem to pinpoint the cause of the issue. I have read through a number of threads and it seems that this has affected others as well, but no proposed solutions I have tried thus far seem to fix the issue.

I have setup the desktop software to have 2-way synch between Outlook and the Calendar. if I add an entry in Outlook, it appears on the device, and if I edit an existing entry on the device, the change appears in Outlook. These calendar entries appear in a calendar called 'Default'. There is also another calendar called 'Desktop' which has a CICAL service book associated to it, but there is no CICAL for the 'default' calendar.
If I add a new appointment on the device, it will only allow it to be added to the 'Desktop' calendar, but since this is not the one that is being synchronised with Outlook, the appointment does not get transferred to Outlook.
I do not want to change to wireless sysnchronisation since this does not seem to work for my default Outlook calendar which is in my local pst file rather than on the exchange server account.
Can I copy existing appointments with all details and paste it into another day where the details are identical? (could do this easily in my Palm)
I know you can duplicate for consequtive days in BB but what about where there is a gap between days?
So I downloaded a stupid Memory Boost app and it deleted all my Appointments 1 year back..Is there a way to restore them? I have no backup or anything similar..Are these stored somewhere so I can use some kind of data recovery software?
View 9 Replies View RelatedCan someone maybe enlighten me as to why my past appointments in my calendar keep deleting, it appears to be after I have deleted the browser history! I did not realise this was linked to the calendar.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a reoccurring problem with appointments that are set in Outlook that will appear immediately on my iPhone calendar, but when I check back later sometimes the event has been deleted from my iPhone calendar but not from my Outlook calendar. It's driving me mad. Some of the times it does this is when I send an invite through outlook for an event to another user. The event will appear on my iPhone calendar but once the other person accepts my event invitation it will disappear from my iPhone calendar, but remain on my Outlook calendar. It doesn't do this everytime, but seems to be when I notice this happening the most.
On my phone settings I have the outlook calendar set as my default calendar. My iPhone is also synched with two gmail accounts a Hotmail and an icloud account. The only calendars I actually use however are my Outlook and the the iPhone calendar.

I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.I love the calendar and it an do everything I want it to do bar one thing. When I have appointments that run on the same day each week but then finishes at a certain time of the year the calendar won't save them. I keep getting a message saying something along the lines of the appointment being too long for the time given.
example. My daughter goes to gymnastics every monday between 4pm - 6pm. She started in August and the course finishes in october.I can add the appointment to the calendar, put how long the appt is for and say it's every monday. Then I cahnge the dates to the date the appt started (august) to the date it ends (october) and it won't save it. I had a blackberry before my nokia (yuck horrid thing) and could do it no problem with that and I don't see why the nokia can't do the same.
Am I doing something wrong? I've ended up just adding the appt from August saying every monday for specified length of time but it runs way over as I've put every monday so no end date. This means I'll have to delete it when the time s up and start again when the new dates happen. It's all well and fine to just delete the ones she is on holiday from but I never know when the next course starts back until near the end and I am a busy woman so need to know what's happening when etc in my life.
I am new to Blackberry desktop manager for mac. It is all set up and first sync is done without a problem. Now when I try to sync, I get a message that over 600 of my past calendar items will be deleted if I continue with sync. I need to keep previous calendar items, is there a way to solve this problem and not delete past events? I am sorry for asking this question, I am just new and very unsure of what I am doing. I had used missing sync before, but when my blackberry had to be replaced, new blackberry wouldn't work so I wanted to try desktop manager.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have checked the time zones on both my outlook calendar and BB. They are set correctly. If I set an appointment for 8am in Outlook, it displays as 9am on my BB calendar. Also it should be said that my phone automatically syncs via an enterprise server. I do not hardwire my BB to my computer. My BB has accurately sync'd with my computer for over a year until now. I tried changing the option in outlook that "accounts for DST", and that didn't work either.
