I've read through the forums as best I could, deleted anything that had "vvm" in the /java folder, tried changing the "required" fields from true to false in the .alx file, and yet the visual voice mail is still there on my phone. Here's a screenie of my BBSAK "read system," showing that there is nothing with VVM on my phone, yet visual voice mail is still there, despite several restarts and different fixes. I'm running a T-Mobile Curve 8520 with .592.
Just upgraded my phone to v.5.0.0.592 and noticed that I have this icon called Visual Voice Mail that no matter what I do, I can't get rid of it. Anyone know what's going on and how do I delete it off my phone?
My friend has the Curve 8530 on Verizon and OS 5.0.0.508. She has the data package, which Verizon requires, but does not have any data or e-mail accessability on her Curve. She has done battery pulls, resent routing tables, and gone in to the store. Each time she goes in they tell her it is a software issue and that there is not an update yet. Is anyone else having this issue? Are they just pulling her leg because they have no clue?
Is there a way to keep the voice mail messages from appearing in both text message and message locations? The blackberry keeps duplicating messages in the message folder as well as the text message location, which means listening to the message, then deleting the message from voice mail. Then deleting the message alert from the message location as well as the text message location.
I just updated my phone, and found a new app on my homepage. Its called visual voice mail, and when I bring it up, it makes me download a "Self Serve". When I downloaded it, it was supposed to download it to my memory card, but I cannot find it, and this app wont work. Anybody know how to get it up and running?
I am not receiving notifications that there are voice mails. This seemed to have started when I switched to visual voice mail (VVM). I will get notification after (a week sometimes) all at once for multiple messages.
I am having trouble when I put videos on or download a video from e-mail. It says I don't have the proper format to play the video, I hear sound but no visual.
I updated my phone the other day with the v5.0.0.734 OS. It wiped out everything. I had to go back and restore my contacts, reload ringtones and apps, etc. Got everything back the way it was now.
I have three email accounts synced to it. All are active, Wi-fi on, network on. New mail isn't showing up on my handset, only from my gmail account, the hotmails aren't showing up. Used to be you could look in the folder for each email account and see what emails were there, then there was one folder that showed all of them. What am I missing?
I have a 8520 T-Mobile and everytime I get a new email and or text it rads it automatically. I want it to stop .How do i do it ?It is disturbing i managed to turn off the text but the mail keeps on doing it .
I have a new 8530 and even though I select "Delete on mailbox and Handheld" every time I delete an email, it only will delete it on the Blackberry. Reverse is also true, when I delete email on my laptop the emails do not delete on Blackberry (not sure if this is even an option). This happens on both my gmail account and my comcast account.
I just upgraded to the official 5.0 OS from bell and I seem to have lost Visual Voicemail coming from OS 4.6.301. I tried to look at how to re download it but I have not found anything I even connected to DM and tried advance software upgrading/ removing and its not on the list.
Is there visual voice mail for the BOLD 9000? I have the official software 5.0.0.411. If there is would it be possible to get the steps on how to install it.
I can't access my visual voice mail application and have to actually call my voice mail in order to get my messages. I just replaced the phone after having the old one "reset" at a Sprint store. The problem was rectified for a while then returned. I just got a new phone and after a few days, I'm having the same problem.
Has anyone found a good third party app that will allow you to have visual voicemail on the Atrix? I had it on my old HTC Android and I really miss it. I tried one third party app but it required me to forward all calls to voicemail (no opportunity to answer any incoming calls)
DO NOT use it but it runs in the background all the time. When I call my regular VVM, I always get a SMS message: alpsgaacds01.attwireless.net:5400?f=0&v=420&m=9048 13****&p=&S=I&s=5433&t=904813****:A:OJUSAP56:ms02: client:47297
I have replace the last 4 digits of my cell phone number with ****. I only use the regular VM and want to stop VVM from running in the background on my 9700 and want to delete it!
I have a question for who is using that function. When we listen to a voicemail through this application will it be played on the speakerphone or through the handset ?
After updating my 9000 to 5.0.0.822 using the BB Desk top (the new one) the Visual Email Icon from ATT is gone, after a couple of hours with ATT I told them just give me back the old voicemail.
Is there a way that I can either deactivate or delete Visual Voice mail. It works sporadically, and if I were to open VVM It will freeze my phone and I have to power off pull battery in order to unfreeze.
This is my first Blackberry question. I have 9700 on T-Mobil service. The time stamp on my voice mail and visual voice mail is incorrect, Its off by more than 3 hours. How can I correct this?
