The sync process between iPhone and Outlook 2003 does not add new appointments entered in Outlook to transfer to iPhone. I have tried all the steps in Apple Support including uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes. I have checked the boxes in iTunes - Device - Info - Advanced to "Replace information on this iPhone" "Calendars". Still no luck???

I have the updated ITunes and IPhone software for my IPhone 4. I have Outlook 2003. I sync via USB. My phone used to sync properly with ITunes, but now nothing seems to be synching. I've tried resetting my sync history, checking the box to replace the info on the phone with the Outlook calendar on my machine, checking and unchecking all calendars vs. choosing each one individually. Nothing has worked. I think I may have had to recreate my outlook pst file the last time this happened but can't remember how I did that.

This error is encountered when ever I have the calander sync turned on. If it turn off the calander sync option then I have no problem with the contacts sync.I have been searching forums for this error and I found 1 that referenced the fact that if I had put any attachments in the Outlook calander such as meeting notes or PDF's that the Blueberry wouldn't sync. Is this true? I have many files attached to calendar dates.

View 13 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to sync with Outlook 2003 I get the error 'folder is no longer part of the system data source or the folder could not be found' I have spent the morning updating the BB desktop software which took hours even though the phone is straight out of the box, 250mb worth. The email sync tick box is also greyed out but the wireless sync work a dream no probs at all but I would like to get my contacts on there along with email folders and such.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am running Windows XP SP3 with Outlook 2003. When the syncronisation between my phone (6303ci) runs OVI 2.2.0.241 sometimes hangs whilst preparing for calendar sync. After restarting the the PC entries within the Outlook calendar have lost the text within the entry. i.e. the entry itself still exists but any emailed notes within the file, attached files or links disappear in Outlook. This is very frustrating as meeting agenda and other notes are missing.

I have a reoccurring problem with appointments that are set in Outlook that will appear immediately on my iPhone calendar, but when I check back later sometimes the event has been deleted from my iPhone calendar but not from my Outlook calendar. It's driving me mad. Some of the times it does this is when I send an invite through outlook for an event to another user. The event will appear on my iPhone calendar but once the other person accepts my event invitation it will disappear from my iPhone calendar, but remain on my Outlook calendar. It doesn't do this everytime, but seems to be when I notice this happening the most.
On my phone settings I have the outlook calendar set as my default calendar. My iPhone is also synched with two gmail accounts a Hotmail and an icloud account. The only calendars I actually use however are my Outlook and the the iPhone calendar.

I have a BB Torch 9800.I am using the BB desktop software 6.0 bundle 2647 to Sync. I have gone under Organizer tab, then the Select Organizer Data to Synchronize.I have hit the reset settings and reset calendar, memo, address and tasks and it says it has configured successfully. However, after I hit OK, it says calendar is "not installed"every thing is syncing except the calendar.

- Sync direction: One way to your device only

- Change Default Folder
- Close and Sync Organiser
Then I get:"Synchronization Error A program error occurred at line 1548 in .OIAccess.cpp. Please report this error by sending a log to technical support."It appears to try and transfer 3 items (there are 100+) but no contacts are transferred.I have reinstalled Blackberry software but the error remains.The missing file is part of Office 2003 SP3 but despite a reinstall of the Service Pack the file was not installed in ..WindowsSystem32 where it belongs.
I am using curve 9300. I installed blackberry desktop sw and tried to sync my outlook contacts. The sw read all the 745 contacts and asked me to accept or reject. So when I clicked on accept, it just copied 4 items without any contact details and just crashed and gave an error msg "unknown error". I tried to delete those contacts and it's not allowing me to do so without giving any msg. I don't even get a delete msg on the bb. I even tried to press on menu when I go to the contacts and it won't appear on those particular records. I rebooted the pc and the phone and tried again and got "error encountered, error code 0x80040fb3". I even uninstalled the application and tried ver 4 & 5. The result is the same. I am stuck with those records and can't delete them. Further 740 contact that can't have on my blackberry.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have checked the time zones on both my outlook calendar and BB. They are set correctly. If I set an appointment for 8am in Outlook, it displays as 9am on my BB calendar. Also it should be said that my phone automatically syncs via an enterprise server. I do not hardwire my BB to my computer. My BB has accurately sync'd with my computer for over a year until now. I tried changing the option in outlook that "accounts for DST", and that didn't work either.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI set up the VPN and synch the calendar with our company's Exchange server. I have no information about the Exchange server, and no way to make or suggest any changes to it. In short, the company has blackberries tied to the server, and doesn't want to support employees using iphones to get email and calendar info.
Even so, the sync was working; I checked that it synced in both directions - appointments entered in exchange came to my phone, and appointments entered on my phone got added to the Exchange calendar. I set the calendar to have yellow dots next to the appointments to tell them from my personal appointments. Then today I turned on the VPN, opened the calendar, and all my new appointments I had entered on my phone throughout the day were deleted. Appointments that show up are now marked blue, and all my yellow appointments are gone.
Since I don't use iCloud and hadn't plugged into iTunes, I'm assuming those appointments are irretrieveably lost Did the admin change the Exchange server or did I somehow mess up by assigning a color to the calendar other than the default?

When I put an appointment in outlook for a set period (i.e. between two dates) every time I sync with my android calendar using Kies the appointment looses it's date range.The sync process either syncs the start day as start and end or bizarrely, puts the end date one day ahead of the start date!!I installed the 3rd party 'Business Calendar' and this displays in exactly the same way.

I don't know if it is using the internal mem., but I don't see a way to direct it to use the SD card. It also mentions that it is getting email info from Outlook. Does this mean that it is also syncing the address book? I only want to keep the calendar on the phone synced. Anyone have any input?
