New to android. Picked up my Z5 compact yesterday and was messing about with it. Front pane with clock and welcome to Xperia widget was deleted by mistake, where can I retrieve the welcome widget to transfer contacts from my iphone.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi deleted my three personal email accounts by mistake in Bb curve 9300 O6( update) network independent.i actaully just activated blackberry internet service account and suddenly all three accounts were gone.Though i never made any account in blackbery internet service. now all emails recieved till date from those three accounts are appearing together in Message box along .i again created those three accounts again.they are working well but i can not get earlier mails ,now in message box , back into the newly created email accounts.So to look for ols mails,i need to go back to message box.

I have tried pressing and holding the screen and looked through the widgets, and yes I found the AccuWeather.com widget, but when I drag it back onto my phone home screen. I get all weather for the next five days on my home screen as well, instead of just the current weather with the temperature etc.

There was a black box saying that the widgit had malfunctioned. Now my phone won't connect to the internet at all.The upgrade is probably not linked to the problem but is the only new thing I have done to the phone recently.

A few app's say that my GPs is turned off when its not and the weather widget can't find my location, and whem i'm lucky it does but gets it completly wrong, usealy about 15km in the wrong direction. Strangely a lot of GPS requierd app's work fine. Rebooting the phone hasn't worked and re-instal the non working app's neither. At first i thought the problems where in the app's but I find it hard to belive that that many app's have the same problem and also the weather widget that was factory installed doesn't work properly.

It opens a great contact search with a small dial pad and the list of found contacts. It searches by the text or numbers typed on the dial pad, and is very fast. Much better than installing a third-party app.But the widget is HUGE. And I don't need a widget. Instead, I just want a shortcut to the application. Widgets use more memory anyway.how can I access the Smart Search without using the widget?

When I hold and press my home screen it brings up the menu to change my wallpaper, I can move the widgets around in the 4 corners of my Xperia Mini 10 but I want my clock back in the middle of my home screen.....
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm on the latest official ICS 4.0.4. I was using the stock weather widget when using the stock Xperia Home Launcher. I just changed to Nova Launcher, which I find better than the stock launcher. However, now I find that I cannot access the Weather Widget from the Widget Menu. Most/all other widgets seem to be listed there, but the weather widget is missing!
Is there any way I can get this widget on Nova? I really liked that widget, and it seemed fairly accurate too. But I don't want to get back to the stock launcher just for it.
I know the stock Weather Widget is from Accuweather, but I am unable to find the same same widget on the Android Market. Screen showing 2 widgets in question below:
