Just updated to 3.1 and noticed that the bookmark widget on my home page is now missing the other folders link. Have removed and recreated the widget and rebooted xoom but problem persists.

Switched to the default calendar widget after 3.1 arrived to allow resizing of widgets. widget syncs the calendars okay but the date at the top of the widget never changes, stays on the install date. calendar app works fine, widget is static.stock, non rooted 3.1

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter cleaning up my download folder I notice that when I try to tap a email on the gmail widget the screen turns dark and just sits there. It will no longer open gmail and let me read the mail but if I open gmail using the app it works fine. I have also notice this with some of the downloads within the email app but not through the gallery.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have discovered that the list of email messages in the corporate email widget stops updating shortly after a reboot. It continues to display a static list of messages. If I tap the widget to open email, I find many new, more recent, messages in my inbox.

View 3 Replies View RelatedRunning ICS on Xoom Wifi. When creating a photo gallery widget, and selecting a single image, then go to crop, it seems to freeze the tablet on Saving Picture... prompt. Touching the controls icons won't do anything, just blank screen.I have to wait for a few, then the launcher freeze popup saying wait/report/stop. When creating photo gallery widget from album or shuffle, it works. It just doesn't work with single image. I think this is a bug, repeatable with any images.if I have space left, it says 28.11 GB free.

The gmail one is working fine. Also the calender widget does not change dates until reboot. If all else fails Reset I guess but I am trying to avoid that. The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Would i be able to reset the tab to the original version?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy question is about the circles widget. It is beyond frustration to me that it takes what seems like hours to update the weather. Even after touching the weather circle and it displaying the weather app, it still will typically not update. Maybe it's just me, but I see zero use in having a widget that tells me the weather from 2 hours ago. It is also incredibly annoying to be driving to work, the sun has been out shining bright for an hour and a half, it's 50-60F degrees outside, and I unlock the phone to see an image of the night sky and the moon, and a temp of 30F.
I would have more forgiveness if this was some random widget I downloaded from the Play store, but this came installed with the phone, created by Motorola, designed for my device. For the time being, I have actually removed it from the main screen because it has just become frustrating and I am tired of constantly tapping on the weather and hoping it will update. There doesn't even seem to be a refresh option once the weather opens. What I would really like, and what I have not found, is a way to change the frequency in which the weather is updated. Setting the location statically versus automatic doesn't seem to have an effect either. I am in an area with great signal, 4-5 bars, and always with LTE, otherwise I have WiFi, so it's not a network connection issue. It's not like I want it to update all the time while the phone is off either (and risk draining the battery), but when I unlock the phone, that seems like a good time for the widget to check and see if it's been more than X minutes since it last updated (X being the number I can configure).
Well just wonder if there some Devs here to get any word on Motoblur/Social widget stuck. Currently there lots of tears in internets about SN-Widget and how bad/random its synching with Facebook, there also some workarounds but i would love to get an answer from any Officials.My workaround: was uninstalling the update for Social Networks app and after reboot its synched my FB stuff perfectly, but when Blur-updater(see task-manager) installed it again the widget stopped synching anything from FB.Its works also random with Twitter - actualy its shows you your status update but not the tweets you fallow.

I use the standard dock at work a lot; mainly for charging the device and listening to music. After the GB update, I noticed that the little widget for playing/pausing/FFD music is gone.
Any ideas as to why, and is there a fix for this? Anything in the market to d/l for a quick Play/Pause function witout having to exit from the dock software?
I'm running stock software, with no mods on the phone. Also, I am not talking about the "Play All" app launcher which moves you to the Music app and proceeds to shut the screen off at the regular screen time-out interval. This was a widget working within the Widget Clock dock software upon docking the phone in the standard dock.
I've noticed after my update to lollipop that when opening a bookmark from my homepage it opens but doesn't refresh, I have to manually refresh the page every time, the only way bookmarks will open on the most up to date page is if you have deleted them from recent apps..

The bookmark has a little lock near the title... when I long press on the bookmark I do get the "delete" choice, which I of course choose. But the gookmark is still there.
I can no longer save a website to my bookmarks. I get a message that the browser has stopped. Cleared browser cache and history. Still no good. Its with any website too,not just certain ones.

It will take two weeks for them to test. Provided there are no issues found during the testing, we expect to upgrade Motorola Xoom to Ice Cream Sandwich for both WiFi and 3G users on June 21st.About time they gave us a date. Now to see if they will meet this date.
