Doesn't sync incoming emails. Last night I did a complete clean wipe of the device and still same issue. In the settings, when I have "Verify Certificate" selected, I get an error message saying the certificate can't be verified.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy company is using gmail as our new email provider and I cannot get emails that I have deleted in either my gmail in box or outlook inbox to sync up and be removed from my Droid. I only want to see what is in my inbox now, not what was in there from 6 says ago.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI receive my email in Outlook as well as on my XPERT. I set up rules in Outlook to automatically delete incoming spam however the phone seems to display every email without any spam security or filtering. This is to the point now, where reading emails is almost impossible since 80% is spam and completely displayed.
Is there any way to set this phone to filter spam or are there any known outside vendors for an app or anything? (In my perfect world, the phone had a spam filter built-in of course)
Im getting emails and texts but I do not hear a notification sound when they come in. I have to remember to look at the device to notice an email or text has arrived. I have cycled power, selected different notification ringtones and adjusted volume. still no sound.

Rebooting my phone frequently resolves the problem for awhile as does receiving a message from me. But since we had problems with old phone I don't believe it's a problem with her phone. Do Handcent, Go SMS and others work independently of the stock Messaging app. I was under the impression that all messaging apps worked off the same core reception and message storage.

I happened to pick up the phone to make a call and saw the VM notification on the bar.Called the callers - they said the phone went straight to VM as if it was not turned on or locked on a tower. The phone was in a place that I use it constantly - I mean I would be on the phone for several minutes while driving this area - strong signal always.

Did the same exact thing with my new phone that I did with my old, but now facebook is not syncing with my phone contacts. I tried uninstalling the app and even deleted it from the accounts screen and tried to re-set it, but nothing.
View 15 Replies View RelatedUpon Receiving an incoming call my phone rings & vibrates - but will not display any alert on the screen (or lock screen) that there is an incoming call. If I unlock the phone as it's ringing the normal home screen is displayed and after a ring or two I receive the below "Mobile Data not available" prompt. Pressing ok results in the phone going back to the homescreen with once again, no further dialog to answer/ignore/mute the call (nothing in the notification bar either). Eventually the call will make it to voicemail as i can't answer it, and i get a prompt missed call notification.
Items i've checked so far: disabled apps - re-enabled to make sure nothing got zapped that's interfering.Mobile data is enabled under settings.OTA Update was applied & Phone works fine otherwise, solid 4G service in populated area....Note the missed call notification icon is displayed from a previous call when i was trouble shooting:
My Turbo suddenly is not receiving incoming calls. I can call put fine, get texts and am getting vms of people trying to call.
When you try calling my phone from another device it rings on there end and phone does nothing on mine.
Ever since my phone was updated to ICS, I've noticed that once in a while (it's probably happened 5 times now) I can not answer an incoming phone call. Usually it's while my phone is in the Droid 4 car dock, but it has also happened without it being connected to anything. What happens is my phone will ring either through the phone speakers and my bluetooth headset (if connected), but the phone "answer" screen will not pop up, and the phone doesn't respond to any type of input, which forces me to reboot my phone by holding down the power/volume down buttons. Once the phone boots back up, there is no record of who called me in the recent calls list, so hopefully they leave me a voicemail otherwise I have no idea who called me. After the first couple times this happened, I decided to perform a factory reset, hoping that this would fix the lag/freeze up issue, but it did not correct this problem. The only way that I can think of trying to minimize the occurrences of the phone freezing up/ running sluggishly would be to perform a reboot every couple days or so to clear up the memory.

I put the phone in vibrate mode and text, emails will vibrate. However, incoming calls will not vibrate, just silent. I checked the sound settings and Silent mode is set to vibrate. Any ideas on how to set the incoming calls to vibrate?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI only recently got my first Android phone, a Motorola Droid 2 and I absolutely love it (though the extended battery is a must-have and probably should just come bundled with the device!) but since I got it, I've been having a very curious issue. Occasionally, when I receive a text message, it displays the sender's correct phone number but the name displayed is that of a different contact. Even when I'm having a back-and-forth text conversation, one of the incoming texts will suddenly appear with someone else's name.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIn an effort to save my battery I thought if I enabled the ability for social apps to only sync over wifi it would be a good thing. Well it does not seem this works as advertised. I have gone into Settings/Battery & Data Manager/Data Delivery/Social Apps and enabled Sync over Wifi Only. With this enabled I should not be able to sync social apps when connected to the 3g network correct? It seems the sync still happens on the 3g network with this enabled. Is there another way to get this to work?

The little icon shows that it is trying to load but it will not do it. I've had this issue since I updated my phone on June 2.
View 12 Replies View RelatedWhen I had Froyo Microsoft Exchange syncing was spotty at best. Sometimes the emails would be instant sometime it would take 10-20 minutes for them to sync and it didn't seem to matter whether data push was enabled or not. On my old DX1 GB seemed to fix this issue but now on the DX2 with GB I haven't noticed any improvemnt. Does anyone else run exchange though DX2 and what is your experience, im running SBS 2003 and all other phones on our system ie. windows phones, blackberry and some other phones all seem to work great usually the e-mail shows up in the phone about 30 seconds before the outlook inbox.

I've done everything I can think of from changing ports, to re-adding the account, many factory reset, battery pulls, reboots, cache clears and had to call tech support. After several hours on the phone with both Verizon and Motorola tech's as well as these forums to try to resolve the issue the best answer I was given was to try an app off the market place or ship my phone to Motorola for repair.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI use Moto Assist at home, so I can answer calls/texts with my voice and am notified by voice. When I get an incoming text now, I am asked if I would like to listen to the message, like always. Then it chimes like it's supposed to, indicating that it's my turn to say a command, but now, it just keeps chiming, and chiming, and it doesn't stop, never allowing me to say anything. The only way to stop it is to close the program.
When I receive an incoming call, I guess the usual, "Call from {name}, say Answer or Ignore". That works perfectly fine. But if I MISS the call, and it asks if I would like to send a text message to the caller, I run into the same issue as above.
I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the Assist updates. But I can't get it to function like it used to.
i dont believe i have seen this mentioned so if it has i will close my own threadanyway about 20% of the time maybe less i will get a call and it is ringing but the screen is off. i have to hit the wake button and then it shows the call as

When I go to swipe the unlock/answer screen, the touchscreen is completely unresponsive and I have to let the call go to voice mail. I can't figure out what is causing it, but it periodically happens once or twice a week.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWell the last week or so I have noticed that my email account is not syncing with my Razr Maxx HD - It is an outlook account - it also does the same thing with my Yahoo account as well I tried looking in settings for sync frequency but there is not option to set - I know on previouse phones there has been option for it but not this one.. Other than deleting the account and re-doing it or restoring the phone, because those two dont work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently did a factory reset on my device and now when I log into facebook thru the account settings I am able to log in but my contacts don't show in my contact lists anymore and when I go into social networks I don't have any feed showing up like I did prior to the reset. I can post a status update with no problems. I logged into facebook and checked settings and still have droid in my allow applications to access my info. Is anybody else having this issue after a master reset? Is this issue maybe on facebooks side? Like I stated I've done many master resets on my droid x and droid x2 and never had the issue syncing fb back up.
