My Turbo suddenly is not receiving incoming calls. I can call put fine, get texts and am getting vms of people trying to call.
When you try calling my phone from another device it rings on there end and phone does nothing on mine.
Upon Receiving an incoming call my phone rings & vibrates - but will not display any alert on the screen (or lock screen) that there is an incoming call. If I unlock the phone as it's ringing the normal home screen is displayed and after a ring or two I receive the below "Mobile Data not available" prompt. Pressing ok results in the phone going back to the homescreen with once again, no further dialog to answer/ignore/mute the call (nothing in the notification bar either). Eventually the call will make it to voicemail as i can't answer it, and i get a prompt missed call notification.
Items i've checked so far: disabled apps - re-enabled to make sure nothing got zapped that's interfering.Mobile data is enabled under settings.OTA Update was applied & Phone works fine otherwise, solid 4G service in populated area....Note the missed call notification icon is displayed from a previous call when i was trouble shooting:
I updated to Lollipop and even factory reset but I can't receive pictures. I'm able to send them out without an issue though.
View 13 Replies View RelatedYesterday I realized that my phone was not receiving incoming texts or phone calls. I power cycled my phone and several texts from the last 1 1/2 days came through. My phone also started to work again. Has this happened to anyone else? Again this phone has a problem with its most basic function.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use Moto Assist at home, so I can answer calls/texts with my voice and am notified by voice. When I get an incoming text now, I am asked if I would like to listen to the message, like always. Then it chimes like it's supposed to, indicating that it's my turn to say a command, but now, it just keeps chiming, and chiming, and it doesn't stop, never allowing me to say anything. The only way to stop it is to close the program.
When I receive an incoming call, I guess the usual, "Call from {name}, say Answer or Ignore". That works perfectly fine. But if I MISS the call, and it asks if I would like to send a text message to the caller, I run into the same issue as above.
I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the Assist updates. But I can't get it to function like it used to.
The email on my Droid Turbo quit sending and receiving email about two weeks ago. The Gmail works but my other email doesn't. Email works fine on my computer but not my phone.

Need turning the vibrate pulse off. Its when swiping to answer incoming calls only. I have vibrate turned off under settings.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Turbo worked great up until 5.1. At my house, my signal is ~ -110 dBm which is about the same on my AT&T network H815 LG G4. Ill drop about one call every 24-48 hours. I went through hours of troubleshooting with customer service and tech support. I even was shipped a replacement device.
So, eventually a trouble ticket was issued to their engineering department and there answer was High Def voice, when activated in a "weak spot" (-110 dBm is enough to make a call) that it would disconnect the phone. My AT&T G4 never dropped a call at my home.
I took the case on and off. I can use headphones to hear. I can play music or hear on speaker, but I can't hear when calling.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis past week my phone has been sending some calls straight to voicemail without even listing that someone called (no one in the recent call list). I'm trying to figure out if this is a network issue or a software/hardware issue. I've made sure that none of the callers I've missed are on the "straight to voicemail option" (I actually don't have that setting for anyone). I've checked my sound options to make sure they are turned up (and made sure it's not set to priority...I hate that new lollipop feature), and I've checked the radio signal strength. Everything seems to be in order. I tried to call the person back who left me the message and it rang several times, then gave me an error message saying that the call couldn't be completed. This happened twice and then I finally got through the third time. After that I made a call to someone else to see if it went through. It did.

I happened to pick up the phone to make a call and saw the VM notification on the bar.Called the callers - they said the phone went straight to VM as if it was not turned on or locked on a tower. The phone was in a place that I use it constantly - I mean I would be on the phone for several minutes while driving this area - strong signal always.

View 15 Replies View RelatedEver since my phone was updated to ICS, I've noticed that once in a while (it's probably happened 5 times now) I can not answer an incoming phone call. Usually it's while my phone is in the Droid 4 car dock, but it has also happened without it being connected to anything. What happens is my phone will ring either through the phone speakers and my bluetooth headset (if connected), but the phone "answer" screen will not pop up, and the phone doesn't respond to any type of input, which forces me to reboot my phone by holding down the power/volume down buttons. Once the phone boots back up, there is no record of who called me in the recent calls list, so hopefully they leave me a voicemail otherwise I have no idea who called me. After the first couple times this happened, I decided to perform a factory reset, hoping that this would fix the lag/freeze up issue, but it did not correct this problem. The only way that I can think of trying to minimize the occurrences of the phone freezing up/ running sluggishly would be to perform a reboot every couple days or so to clear up the memory.

I put the phone in vibrate mode and text, emails will vibrate. However, incoming calls will not vibrate, just silent. I checked the sound settings and Silent mode is set to vibrate. Any ideas on how to set the incoming calls to vibrate?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a droid turbo. I work in the city so there are cell towers everywhere but my office is in the middle of a building and I have no windows. My calls get dropped or cut in and out unless I turn off the advanced call feature. Other people with different phones have no problems in my office. Can I leave this feature off all the time? The one day I did leave it off and I was not at work and I tried to make a call and got a message saying the call could not connect so I don't know if it will create other problems. I usually have two bars in my office and 4G lte. We have Wi-Fi but are not allowed to use it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedBoth devices updated to latest OS Lollipop 5.1 on Turbo and 5.1.1 on Moto 360.
Making phone calls using hand set, everything seems fine. Then two about 10 seconds into the call I notice that I can't hear anything in the Turbo handset earpiece. When I look at the setting on the phone screen I notice that the connection has switched from "handset" to bluetooth. The only bluetooth device that is connected is the Moto 360.
When I switch it back to "handset" or "speaker" it works fine again. And when I switch back, the person on the other end of the call says: "Now I can hear you much better again, for a time you were very soft/far away" -- I'm assuming that is because they are hearing my voice picked up by my watch's microphone and not my droid turbo.
How to stop this from happening?
Recently, over the last several weeks, my Turbo isn't receiving phone calls. I'll get missed calls and/or voicemails without a single ring. I've checked my ringer settings, looked deeper into notification settings and it still happens. I looked into the Moto assist app too to see if I was in drive mode and haven't noticed a change.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm pretty sure that this problem started after the Memorial Day Gingerbread soak.Although, it's possible that it started after the mid-August Gingerbread fiasco.I can be sitting at my computer desk in my house and receive a Voicemail notification, only to learn that it was for a call that never rang or vibrated on my Droid X perhaps a quarter of an hour before. This has happened numerous times, while most of the time, the phone rings and calls arrive correctly.

I just noticed it started yesterday. On my phone settings I don't have auto reject as an option. I have the quick responses but that is just where to edit them.

i am tired of all the problems i've been having since the ICS update. the final straw? A LOT of people unrelated to each other have told me they have called me and text me numerous times yet i receive nothing. wow, after the fifth call you answer the phone and you never responded to my text comments are getting pretty annoying. i hope that with a clean slate i have a better experience with ICS. it's amazing how ICS was released in November of last year and after 7 months of production Motorola screws things up.

Issue: For the last week, I have been missing almost all of my incoming calls. It rings from in/from the calling phone, but nothing comes through on my phone. This started at the same time that my outbound texts started hour-glassing (green/blue rotating circle) for 30-90 seconds before sending - some texts "fail to send" altogether. Also, sometimes when surfing the internet (Chrome and apps) on the network (full bars of 4G LTE), websites don't load - they time out. This has always happened (very occasionally) but seems to happen a lot more often since the texting/calling issues have surfaced.
Attempts to fix: I have updated my PRL. I have ensured that my 'network mode' was still in LTE/CDMA. I have reset settings back to pre-set using ##72786#. I have taken my phone to a Sprint store and was told that they only thing they could recommend was to factory-reboot my phone but that it probably wouldn't fix the issues.
Other notes: I have not downloaded any new apps around the time the issues came about. Also, turning my "network mode" to CDMA seems to fix the incoming call problem (but then I don't have 4G)
My phone called someone in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. It has made a few other calls during the day without a requests from me. In addition if it hears music it starts sending a 3 bell ring and on screen asks if I will not speak more clearly. At times it talks and says "Speak more clearly." The screen sometimes shows a cloud when interrupting and other times a mic. I think this may be due to a malfunctioning google assist. I think it thinks music is my voice. Sometimes I am taking pictures with it and it hears music causing it to change from the camera mode to ring 3 tones and say speak more clearly. The calling and interruptions are nuisances.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Razr paired with a Blue Parrot BTX-250. Most of the time(not all), when either making or receiving a call, the phone is broadcasting static to the speaker circuit of the BT. People can still hear and understand me. The static lasts for anywhere from 1/2 second to 5 seconds then goes away. It is only doing this during calls. I can use the voice command to initiate a call and the phone understands me and I can understand it, then when the Razor connects the phone circuit to the BT it will give the static(most of the time). Went to a Verizon store and tech guy verified all this. BT is two months old and worked fine with last phone last week. We are fairly certain it is a software issue with Droid.
