Since upgrading to ICS, my phone will not sync with the Exchange Server.I've reformated the SD card & done the SW repair proceedure on the phone.I've deleted the phone profile on the Exchange server - so Exchange can detect and reload the profile anew The mail client doesn't show any email, but rather endlessly reports that it is syncing.The phone contacts do not sync with the server.
View 1 RepliesI am trying to set up my corporate exchange email in my Z3, but i get a message of "you do not have permission to sync with this server....". I have no problems setting up exchange email in my Samsung or Ipad using the same credentials.
My Z3 has android version is 4.4.4.
my email and calendar are working fine. My contacts, however, are not sync'ing. I've tried unchecking/rechecking the sync contacts option under accounts and get the same results.
We are using exchange online. I do have over 1000 contacts, could the number of contacts I have be the issue?
Exchange Active Sync is not working for me. It will not sync anything. I can not get or send email.This had worked fine for months. Tried rebooting phone and deleting and adding back account. In the settings did the verify account and it says sucessful. Works for email if I use the "Email Accounts" option and not "Corporate Sync" option but I need my contacts and calander also to work.

I had setup and Active Exchange account for my Gmail (this way I could also sync my mail, calendar, and todo lists easily). Everything was working smoothly, until I installed the Mircrosoft Apps update yesterday. Now I can no longer get this to work. It says my Inbox is empty and never finds any mail. It did work yesterday after I deleted the mail account re setup the active exchange account. But then last night I turned my phone off and this morning when I had turned it on, the account email inbox was all blank/empty. The Calendar was still synced though.Now I am trying to re setup the account, and its not working at all.(Nokia E7 Belle phone)

I have been able to using the same credentials on my old phone and it used to work perfectly.
We recently had an exchange upgrade at our office and since then my Defy won't sync with my Outlook account. We've gone from Outlook Exchange 2003 to 2007. I've been reading online about the problems others are having with similar problem. It's making life difficult as I'm unable to access my work emails when I'm out of the office.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI wanted to do away from the security features (fingerprint swipe and PIN number) but I had to delete the Corporate Sync account before I could set the security to none. Then I went back to reinstall the Corporate Sync account but can't get the Exchange Serve to recognize my account info. Yes, I checked spelling and tried to reinstall dozens of times just to get "Error Logging to the account failed, please try again." I've checked and rechecked the data and I'm positive I've re-entered the account info correctly. And BTW - I'm not interested in purchasing Touchdown since I know my Atrix is capable of accessing my corporate exchange account.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought the X10 mini pro simply because I love SE phones and I wanted to have my office e-mail with me where ever I go but I have been so disappointed.It's never been possible tp set up my e-mail on the Roadsync application from Android 2.1 there is this error -1002 that I get any time I try to Synchronize my mails and this is getting me crazy; one of the most important reason I bought the the X10 mini pro - get my corporate e-mails is becoming impossible. When it is connected on WiFi, it does sync all my emails but immediately it is switched to 3G all the mails in the inbox disappears and it's not able to sync again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Corporate Sync set up with my company Exchange server for contacts only. Worked fine initially, but has been on and off again last few weeks. It is randomly not showing the Exchange contacts. At times they are all there, other times not. I'm not positive, but I think this issue started after the 1.57 upgrade. Incredibly frustrating when you're out and need to make a call and the contact isn't there.....If I update my credentials for the account, it shows "Updating service" and seems to finish fine - Not getting any password or connection errors.

Short and simple, got the s5 today, I am a current s3 and tab 4 owner. The s5 has 4.4.4 loaded but I can't seem to get the active sync account created. I can add them all day long on the S3 and Tab 4 which both have 4.4.2 on them. I've read that 4.4.4 has some issues?

I have been using Sony Ericsson G900 for more than a year.I had configured the ExchangeActiveSync 2.019 on the phone to work my official mails. It worked for at lets for 1 month and it stop working. It kept giving Sync Issues. I showed it to the Sony Ericsson service center but they said its an application issue. I have also installed the MobileAdmin plugin as we have exchange 2003. When i get into the website i can find my devices assinged to my account and i have started a wipe which i am told has been accepted by the device. Now my iPad has a black screen and a busy icon (circle of lines) as if it's doing something, but it's been going for 30minutes so far. How long does it take roughly (iPad2 16gb) Also is there anyway to stop a user from Jailbreaking there company owned iPad apart from contracts and disclaimers etc...

View 5 Replies View Relatedyesterday out of the blue the display on my active stopped working. i connected it to the pc and did a reset/reinstalled the firmware but still no display.i can play music using the original headphones and the headset controls and the home/menu/back buttons light up when i press the unlock key but that's about it.oh yes and i think i managed to unlock the screen even though it was totally back as i could could play/pause music and skip tracks using the screen controls (pressing where i guessed the music controls were).

Tech support on the phone was useless - told me to go t the store and try it on another phone. really? The automated voice repsonse system said to download the instructions for getting the right exchange server settings to give to IT. I have been using corporate sync on my phone for months and it worked great. Just this thursday it stopped working. Im getting an error message that says Connection error.
I know all my settings are correct. It isnt that a password was changed. With the same settings I am still able to sync the email on my Xoom. So I dont know why it wont work on my phone.
Ive tried deleted the whole account and re-adding it. When I put everything in, it acts like all is well, no errors. But when I go to the email and hit refresh I just keep getting the 'Connection error'?

I was looking for an older email I could not find yesterday, so I decided to change my sync window from 3 day to 30 days. Right after that, all emails disappeared, and no matter how many times I tried to manually sync, nothng would show up again. Interestingly I can see all my folders, but all my folders say "no messages". Of course, when I access hotmail any other way (through Windows Live Mail on my PC or through the web, all the email is there). I have deleted the hotmail corporate sync account from the phone twice and re-setup twice, both times the installations were successful. I can always see the mail folders, but no mail messages. I also tested and found that I can send an email through hotmail.
I have set up my corporate account correctly, but no emails are coming through to my phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to 2.3.4 my battery is drained from 100% to about 5% in about 3 hours. I noticed that data is constantly being sent and received. It seems if I change my emaill devlivery option on corporate sync email accounts from push to a periodic time, things gets much better. If I delete all but 1 coorporate sync email account battery life also returns to something tolerable. I am not receiving a lot of emails (less than 20 emails messages during the time). It seems as though multiple corporate sync emails accounts was broken in Gingerbread in a way that push email is not practical as battery is consumed and data is rate is too high. Without receiving any email had exchanged a few MB of data in less than an hour. Having single corporate sync account alleviate the data load and extended the battery life back to normal.

Open Applications tray, select My Accounts
Select Add Account
You will be at the Set-Up accounts menu with several other social network icons
Tap on Corporate Sync:
Enter: Domain nameuser name
Enter Password
Use secure server should be checked.
Enter Email address
Enter Exchange Server Address
Tap on Next to submit settings.
Handset will check with server and verify if successful. If you receive error could not auto detect server, touch OK to manually enter the server name. It then appears that I have connected to my exchange. I can then open up the email account settings and review/change the settings and I will always get the prompt that the update was successful. The connection error only appears when I open the account to check the inbox. The refresh symbol keeps spinning and eventually times out with the connection error.
i am having neo v. which is running on latest 2.3.4 build 4.0.2.a.0.62 , while tring to configure the corporate mail using exchange active sync , i am getting error "phone does not support required security feature".My echange server(2007) have 10 min screen lock , 5 digit pin and 10 password attempt as secuiry policy. which my neo v not able to do it.it look like the phone does not support device administration which is required for server to enforce security on phone. when i tried to configure my mail in other phone which is also running in 2.3.4(Samsung and dell xcd with default email client) , i am able to do without any problem.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOur facility uses Exchange Server 2003, and I have not had problems with my Corporate Sync e-mail since receiving Froyo back in September. If I was sitting at my desk, I would consistently get a push notification on my phone a few seconds before I saw a new e-mail pop up on the Web Access client on my PC. It was great.All of a sudden, I am getting nothing. I missed several important e-mails over the weekend, and my phone will not show new messages unless I open the E-mail client and manually Refresh.
I have removed/re-added the Account a couple of times, but that doesn't seem to do any good. I have a colleague who has an Incredible, and his work e-mails are working just fine, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem with the Exchange server. The login/password aren't wrong, since I can Refresh and receive my new messages, but why would the push e-mail just halt? Are there known problems on the Blur servers? If so, is there a way we can find out about that without having to just miss a bunch of e-mails?
