IPhone :: Remote Wipe With Active Sync (exchange 2003)?

i am just testing this on the domain and i have cofngured my ipad and iphone to download emails from the exchange. I have also installed the MobileAdmin plugin as we have exchange 2003. When i get into the website i can find my devices assinged to my account and i have started a wipe which i am told has been accepted by the device. Now my iPad has a black screen and a busy icon (circle of lines) as if it's doing something, but it's been going for 30minutes so far. How long does it take roughly (iPad2 16gb) Also is there anyway to stop a user from Jailbreaking there company owned iPad apart from contracts and disclaimers etc...

Can anyone get Exchange 2003 sync to work with the new 4.0 beta?I cannot get it to sync. Worked perfectly with 3.1.3. Am using Cydia SHSH to downgrade back.

Is anyone having problems with the calendar sync and Exchange 2003? Mine syncs mails and contacts fine, but will only sync the calendar back to server and not pull any information from it. Am I missing something somewhere?

I am trying to connect my exchange email to my iPhone without using active sync. I am able to connect it to the Mac mail program on my MacBook pro with out ay issues. Can this be done on the iPhone? Please instruct.

Short and simple, got the s5 today, I am a current s3 and tab 4 owner. The s5 has 4.4.4 loaded but I can't seem to get the active sync account created. I can add them all day long on the S3 and Tab 4 which both have 4.4.2 on them. I've read that 4.4.4 has some issues?

I have been using Sony Ericsson G900 for more than a year.I had configured the ExchangeActiveSync 2.019 on the phone to work my official mails. It worked for at lets for 1 month and it stop working. It kept giving Sync Issues. I showed it to the Sony Ericsson service center but they said its an application issue. Even after reloading the software, i still facing the same issue.I purchased this phone consider this as one of its best quality but it does not work. Can anyone help me with this.

Since upgrading to ICS, my phone will not sync with the Exchange Server.I've reformated the SD card & done the SW repair proceedure on the phone.I've deleted the phone profile on the Exchange server - so Exchange can detect and reload the profile anew The mail client doesn't show any email, but rather endlessly reports that it is syncing.The phone contacts do not sync with the server.

Exchange Active Sync is not working for me. It will not sync anything. I can not get or send email.This had worked fine for months. Tried rebooting phone and deleting and adding back account. In the settings did the verify account and it says sucessful. Works for email if I use the "Email Accounts" option and not "Corporate Sync" option but I need my contacts and calander also to work.

Cannot setup Exchange 2010 Active Sync account. I keep getting the following error:"You entered an incorrect server address or the server requires a protocol version that Email does not support"'m an Exchange admin & have other devices in the enviroment. My account works on other devices. I've tried other test accounts on the Xoom & cannot get it to sync with Exchange. My 3GS was stolen this morning so I set up a Remote Wipe using Find My iPhone. Turns out a neighborhood kid stole it and, luckily, his parents brought it back to me. As soon as I turned it on, the Remote Wipe started. Now, it's stuck on the Apple logo and isn't responding (won't reboot, iTunes doesn't see it, won't go into DFU mode). The Remote Wipe didn't complete.I am *NOT* a thief! This really happened. I have a good reputation on a couple other forums where I post more often and I can post a photo of my purchase receipt from June 2009 if someone tells me how. don't have Edge or 3G data service. I use my 3GS over Wifi. I thought this might be the problem, but the instructions to start remote wipe came to the phone over Wifi, so it should be able to continue over wifi.
Q: Has anyone experienced this type or problem or heard about it?
Q: Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
PHONE INFOS: 3GS, 3.0.1, jb with RedSn0w, not unlocked WHAT HAPPENED
- remote wipe initiated
- screen went black
- Apple logo appeared
- empty white progress bar box appeared under Apple logo, but no progress bar started or went accross it
- white progress bar box disappeared
- spin wheel appeared superimposed over Apple logo, but did not spin
CURRENT STATUS
- for the past 4 hours, the steps above keep repeating, minus the empty progress box
- every few minutes it starts over again with the black screen
- 3 seconds later, the Apple logo pops up
- about a minute later the spin wheel shows up on top of the Apple logo and doesn't spin
- after a while the screen flashes black again and this process repeats

Got my iPhone stolen. The person turned it off right away. So far it has been offline. I have been sending messages and locking commends through iCloud.com, but have not chosen the remote wipe option yet.
Is it possible for a stolen iPhone be identified after restore? An iPhone has a series number, I assume iTunes would be able to identify this number somehow. Can anything be done on this front?

When I try to sync with Outlook 2003 I get the error 'folder is no longer part of the system data source or the folder could not be found' I have spent the morning updating the BB desktop software which took hours even though the phone is straight out of the box, 250mb worth. The email sync tick box is also greyed out but the wireless sync work a dream no probs at all but I would like to get my contacts on there along with email folders and such.

I attempted to set this up on the Blackberry and got the following error:

Currently using owa to access email using this url: https://intranet.company.com. It will require certificate to access the main page of OWA. Once authenticate then use network logon to access mailbox.

I bought an E72 some days ago, so my E71 it's free to do some tests.I always wanted to test the "Remote Wipe". According with some web pages (I didn't verified thru specs), E71 has a "Remote Wipe" feature.It works by remote locking and after that, trying 5 passwords, with no luck.I tested, and E71 only says "Too many retries, the phone will be unlocked in 5 minutes" or something like that (the message is in Spanish, so the real English message vary).But, after trying with too many passwords, the phone does not self-wipe.So This feature is for real? Or is just a web hoax?

The sales literature for the RAZR MAXX HD promised the inclusion of "government-grade encryption" and a "remote wipe application" that would allow me to locate and remotely wipe the device.I was able to encrypt the phone under Android's Security settings menu, but I do not see any application or setting to enable remote wipe. I have the updated ITunes and IPhone software for my IPhone 4. I have Outlook 2003. I sync via USB. My phone used to sync properly with ITunes, but now nothing seems to be synching. I've tried resetting my sync history, checking the box to replace the info on the phone with the Outlook calendar on my machine, checking and unchecking all calendars vs. choosing each one individually. Nothing has worked. I think I may have had to recreate my outlook pst file the last time this happened but can't remember how I did that.

The sync process between iPhone and Outlook 2003 does not add new appointments entered in Outlook to transfer to iPhone. I have tried all the steps in Apple Support including uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes. I have checked the boxes in iTunes - Device - Info - Advanced to "Replace information on this iPhone" "Calendars". Still no luck???

When I try to setup the Blackberry desktop to sync with Outlook calendar, the process works fine and it says I did it, but when I hit "finish," it acts as if I haven't done it yet and asks me to do the setup. Backup is working fine. This started when I upgraded a while ago. I just upgraded to version 6.6.6.43
