I am unable to get the phone to connect with my works exchange server. We use exchange 2003 and when I enter my information I get an error message stating device not compatable. I downloaded touchdown to try for 30 days but it does not pull in all of my emails.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm a network administrator for a small company. We have a user with a Blackberry 8830, and they'd like to access their Exchange account from the device. We're running Exchange 2003 SP2.
I attempted to set this up on the Blackberry and got the following error:
"Cannot connect to email server or invalid server name. Please verify the Outlook Web Access URL. If the error persists, contact antarcticadigital.com (your email provider)."
The user received an email with the following info:
Your attempt to configure the BlackBerry Internet Service to deliver mail to your BlackBerry device from this email account was unsuccessful. This email provides instructions to help with the email account set up. You submitted the following information:

Is anyone having problems with the calendar sync and Exchange 2003? Mine syncs mails and contacts fine, but will only sync the calendar back to server and not pull any information from it. Am I missing something somewhere?

Currently using owa to access email using this url: https://intranet.company.com. It will require certificate to access the main page of OWA. Once authenticate then use network logon to access mailbox.
Can anyone get Exchange 2003 sync to work with the new 4.0 beta?I cannot get it to sync. Worked perfectly with 3.1.3. Am using Cydia SHSH to downgrade back.

I have also installed the MobileAdmin plugin as we have exchange 2003. When i get into the website i can find my devices assinged to my account and i have started a wipe which i am told has been accepted by the device. Now my iPad has a black screen and a busy icon (circle of lines) as if it's doing something, but it's been going for 30minutes so far. How long does it take roughly (iPad2 16gb) Also is there anyway to stop a user from Jailbreaking there company owned iPad apart from contracts and disclaimers etc...

My own OS is Windows 2000 Pro.Is there any known software I can download that will permit info exchange and compatibility between the N86 and Microsoft's Windows 2000? Am I best to try to sell the N86 and try another phone?

Phone support at Nokia was not helpful - very frustrating. My personal contacts synch with the E72 fine from my Mac using Apple Address Book and Sync. Am I correct in thinking that I can maintain both my Microsoft Outlook work contacts and Apple Address Book contacts at the same time? I thought the E72 was capable of this.

I have an Xperia Z5 (E6653) and I have a microsoft office 365 (business version) account that manages all my email, calendar & contacts. I setup the account through the built in "gmail" app because the contacts & calendar would not sync at all through the native mail app.
The problem I have is that I can see & call my exchange contacts with no problems, they sync fine from the server, but I can't make any changes to the contacts via the phone's native "contacts" app, the edit symbol is there but when i tap the symbol it takes me to the next sreen (edit screen) and from there the screen is basically useless, all the details are grey and un-editable *screenshot attached* ....
I use my Outlook calendar on Microsoft Exchange for all of my personal and business things. I can add an event in Outlook and it syncs with my iPhone. However, any updates I make to any event never sync. (Example: Any deletions or time changes never show up)

I just set up Exchange 2010 and it runs greats supports SSL for IMAP POP and Activesync. IMAP is great because you have access to all your Inbox folders (with Active Sync / Exchange you can only have 1 such mailbox - blows). I've set up IMAP to my server on Android and BBs for my company clients - works great. I use IMAP at home with Outlook - great! I set up my Nokia Belle C7 and it pulls 20 random old messages off the server. I cannot figure out why it refuses to update the inbox contents.
I set to subscribe to all my other IMAP inbox folders no prob, it sees them. It outright refuses to see anything but the random old messages in my inbox? Whats going on? My phone is C7 Belle updated completely. I set up the account again as a "Hotmail" account and specified the exchange server - works very well and syncs well. Here you don't have access to any Inbox folders. Is this a bug with Nokia IMAP and exchange? I have another IMAP account which does work with Nokia.

The email will be automatically updated when I am in the office (using wifi) but will stop connecting outside the office even though the wifi or 3G is available.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust getting my wife's iPhone 4 setup and updated to 4.0.1. Her Microsoft Exchange account works correctly on her old 3G (3.1.3) and on her iPad (3.2.1) but gives this error when trying to retrieve mail: "The connection to the server failed" on the iPhone 4. We have re-entered the correct information many times and also tried the account on my iPhone 4 and it gives the exact same error.
Again, the account seems to setup and verify fine under settings > mail > etc.. but once we try to retrieve the mail it fails with the server error.
I just setup on my iMac my works Microsoft Exchange Profile so I can view my calendar and email all from macmall.
It works perfect. When i go to do the same settings on my iPhone, for some reason it won't connect. It does ask me for a domain which the imac did not but I leave it blank.

I can delete individual emails from my inbox. However, when I go to Trash folder there is no method to delete the Trash contents. Searching the manual gives zero information. Searching online has not been much more productive. The methods I've seen in independent forums don't work for me.

I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Additionally, even though my google calendar is scheduled out for the entire year, my phone calendar stops at December 15th, 2012.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).
