where applicable, for my contacts photo's I have selected to display the profile picture from Facebook. Now, for some of my contacts it just displays a grey head and shoulders, even though their Facebook account is still linked. However, if I change their contact photo to their Twitter Profile, this is displayed fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my Lumia 1520 set to snap both the 5MP jpg and high-res 15mp jpg for each photo. Up until today I would save the high-res versions to my PC, and keep the low-res versions on my phone for quick viewing. I recently reset the phone, knowing I would lose all my low-res photos, but thinking I would simply copy the larger versions from my PC over to my new 128GB Micro SD.
I realized upon doing this though that the phone's Photos app does not recognize any of the high-res photos. In retrospect this makes sense, as when taking a photo it only shows the lower-res copy. But I guess for some reason I thought the high-res versions would show up if manually copied back.
Long story short, I have lost all my low-res photos, any method to get the Photos app to recognize the higher-res copies. I'm unsure how the phone even knows the difference, as the high-res copies seem to be standard JPGs.

I know I can change them individually under edit contact. But I have few hundreds of contact. And I dowant to scan through each of them.
Is there a smarter way to do it? Example like set default across all contact?

I've added an additional Hotmail account and enabled syncing with Contacts, but for some reason, each of those contacts that belong to that account do not show a contact photo, it's just a blank square. View 2 Replies View RelatedDroid Turbo Ballistic 64G (running v5.1). Since the last 2 Android upgrades, phone has stopped displaying a Groups tab in contacts (Favorites & All Contacts are only tabs shown)
I haven't found any settings to fix this, and validated that other brand phones did not lose Groups tab after the upgrade!
Note: phone allows contacts to be assigned to groups (as always); but haven't found a way to utilize groups & would like that capability back!

I have joined my facebook, google, whatsapp and phone contacts. The problem starts when the display names are different.ow the phone has its own mind which contact name to display. I tried un-joining them and leave the name i want to be displayed "in this case PHONE and join them back again.his resolves the problem momentarily, but whenever I come back , its the same.his issue is also with Whatsapp connections, the contact name within whatsapp is apearing as per phone contact, but in joined view it displays from other accounts of the same person. This is very irritating.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI take new photos on my blackberry 9900 they wont open or display... so the photo shows for the few seconds after i have taken it, then i can send it to someone if i want to within about 5 min of taking it - then if i try to access it later the photo doesnt open and i just get the picture icon instead? The first 30 odd photos I took in the begining are still there but all my newest ones dont open, I have tried downloading them to my computer but then it says :file format not supported on all the defective photos? View 2 Replies View RelatedI just completed setting up my Moto XPE to my liking (almost) but noticed that my contacts are not set up "just right".
My contacts live in various places like LinkedIn, FB, MS and Google accounts. I have set up the Contacts app to synch with all these accounts. MS contacts was not straightforward as I use Outlook to access MS services and the contacts in there don't synch with the Android Contacts app. FB and Google don't seem to want to get along so that is another issue. So what I ended up doing is to set up my GMail app to connect with my Hotmail account but synch only the contacts as I prefer to use Outlook for my Hotmail emails.
How do I get my iPhone out of photo "negative" display mode? It went to this mode all of a sudden when I pushed the home bottom at the bottom of the iPhone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm running 5.0.0.314 with Blackberry messenger 5.0.0.57.First of all, when i try and backup my blackberry messenger contacts it says it will send a confirmation email to my email address, but it just stays pending forever. I never recieve the email. (not in junk or deleted) I am however able to recieve emails on my blackberry device whenever my email account does recieve an email.Secondly everyone on my blackberry messenger list doesnt show their display pictures nor does display picture changes on the other end of my contacts.Anyone know how I can fix this or is this an issue?

Is there any way to change the display order of the photos once they're uploaded to my Storm 2? The display order on the computer doesn't seem to match the way that they display on the Storm 2 and to tell the truth it doesn't seem to have much to do with the file name either.
