Since flashing my phone to update to PR1.2, any time I get a phone call from someone who is in my Contacts, it just displays the telephone number, which can cause an issue if I don't recognise it at first glance.Any ideas what could have caused this and how to resolve? - On incoming calls only the contact name is displayed, and the name of the specific extension isnt' shown.
I'll be clear: I've contact Oren, with numbers: Home: 111, Mobile 222 and Tomer 333
When Oren calls I see only "Oren 111" or "Oren 222" etc. I want to see "Oren Home 111" or "Oren Tomer 333".

I played a lot with the settings, tried re-improting the numbers from google, tested my contacts on an Asus phone(there it worked) etc - nothing works on mine.
BTW: HTC One.
Android: 4.3 (happened on earlier androids too).
How do I get my Lumia 1020 to display the name and company of the contact who is calling me? I have more than 1500 contacts for whom the company name is meticulously filled. Many names are duplicates, and I can distinguish between them only when I can see the company name as well. In my old blackberry, the contact name and company name used to be displayed. In my old android, there was an app which could do this.

However Google+ profile pictures do appear in a small circle on the bottom left corner on a gray background.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the OS update for the 920, the "display+touch" feature does not work properly. When I tap on it, the message "display+touch can't be opened. An app update may be available" is presented. I have attempted to update the app via QR but am presented with the message "share." I have done few soft resets but the problem persists. I have asked for help in other forums, but the issue remains. Is it possible that a future "display+touch" update may solve the problem? In lieu of that, can someone offer another suggestion? I would hate to do a hard reset and end up with a "bricked" phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased an N97 in Australia, when I have incoming calls from my contacts, most do not display names.If SIM contacts are selected, the contacts are displayed but when copied to phone and editted ie; ring tones to contact, additional details, etc and then selecting phone memory as default the contacts are not displayed to most of incoming calls.By reverting to SIM contacts as default, you lose all the additional features of the so called "smart phone".There seems to be no rhym or reason to why some contacts are displaye and most are not!
