Oct 1, 2011At random my Photon will not receive incoming phone calls. For instance, today this happened twice and the calls went directly to voicemail. Both calls came from other cell phones. This has happened a few times before while at work. I've had this phone for about 10 days now. Aug 8, 2011On my HTC EVO I could set notification sounds by application. For text messages I had one tone but none for email. On the Photon I have the same tone setup for text messages coming in through Handcent but it also plays for email coming into the native email client which I do not want. Is there anyway to ether turn it off or select a different ring tone for emails?
Also what is the over/under for Motorola getting tired of hearing "I could do it on my HTC..."

May 22, 2015I have a samsung galaxy 6 and all incoming calls are setting my ringtone to mute. I put my ringtone volume as high as it will go. Then I call my phone. Sometimes it will ring once with volume before it magically sets my ringtone to mute, but regardless, ever incoming call sets my ringtone to mute by the 2nd or 3rd ring.
I've turned gestures off.
I have no updates for the phone.
No recently added apps.
Power saving is turned off.

It would work for some contacts but not others so I changed it on the individual contacts by going into their information. I searched everywhere on internet but couldn't find anything, and then this idea came up; I deleted all the assigned rigntones, created a new backup on my computer then deleted all contacts and installed the backup but still when I assign a ringtone to a specific contact it's still ringing default ringtone when she calls.. Btw I also checked for duplication errors, there is only one for each contact..

Jul 19, 2010I have a 9700 that I got back in December, and I have a problem.Just today, my 9700 started exhibiting a strange problem whereby it will not produce ANY sound at all for not only incoming calls, texts, e-mails, etc. but also it won't play any sound if a play an mp3.I've done numerous OS reloads, tried different versions of OS, but nothing.
What I have found, though, is that if I push in on the screen slightly, it will produce sound. Why is this? Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

Jan 23, 2012I have a Sprint Motorola Photon 4G and I am using it in Brazil with a Claro SIM Card. The phone reboots itself sometimes when I try to make or receive a phone call (2 or 3 times a day). I know this is happening to other Photon owners and I already tried the factory reset twice. My build # is 4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_6. Does anyone know a fix for that?

Motorola Photon 4G :: Photon In Car Dock - Not Receiving Calls?
Oct 28, 2011Has anyone seen / experienced this? When I have my photon in the car dock and using the GPS, I am unable to receive incoming calls. My girlfriend has called me for the past three days and she says my phone rings and rings and goes to voicemail. I have Sprint Service. I am not using TeleNav or any other navagation, I am just using the GPS mode and Bluetooth is also running. I dont have any other issues with not receiving incoming calls unless its in the dock.
