After Pairing the headset with a phone Xperia pro, when I have a call, MW600 doesn't display the contact name which already created on contact phone? The same headset was display the contact names in C905 phone.

I have a BB curve 8520 and whenever someone rings me it just displays their number and not their name so I never know who it is that's calling.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using Xperia Play & having disconnection problems with BOTH Sony Ericsson HBH-DS220 & MW600. Initially I thought it was HBH-DS220 not playing nice with Android, so I bought MW600 Last Saturday, but sadly Problem persists.Problem Description: Simply put, I'd be lucky to finish a phone call over the bluetooth headset without it dropping connection. The MW600 would still display the telephone number, while in fact no sound is coming or going through, and then it takes a few seconds for the "Bluetooth" toggle button on the phone call UI to disappear. Whenever that happens, I'll have to frantically yank off the earbud, take out the phone, and start appologising to the other person for missing the last few seconds of conversation.It would also sometimes lose connection when I'm playing games, the sound would stop coming in from the game, then the game will freeze for a second or two, and suddenly the sound would start coming out from the the built in loud speakers and give everyboy else a heart attack.i'm using stock firmware, never rooted/unlocked:

EDIT: On another note, after posting this, I found I have put my email as the displayed username... (I already have an account over at blog.sonymobile, and over there, username means email address. So I put my email address when I log on here, the button says something like "create account"... yes, its a bit weird, yet plausible since I was thinking you're confirming my email before proceeding onto anothe create account screen. There was no warning THAT username is the one going to be displayed.)
I bought a Z5 the other day and I haven't tried NFC until I got me a scr42 style cover for it. I noticed the smart window function doesn't work and realised that the phone doesn't display the NFC icon in the status bar. I've tried activating NFC from both the pull-down menu and the settings and in both the option lights up as if it were enabled, but the icon does not appear and the phone doesn't react to the tag on the cover.

I know I can change them individually under edit contact. But I have few hundreds of contact. And I dowant to scan through each of them.

where applicable, for my contacts photo's I have selected to display the profile picture from Facebook. Now, for some of my contacts it just displays a grey head and shoulders, even though their Facebook account is still linked. However, if I change their contact photo to their Twitter Profile, this is displayed fine.

I've added an additional Hotmail account and enabled syncing with Contacts, but for some reason, each of those contacts that belong to that account do not show a contact photo, it's just a blank square. Other information such as name and numbers etc are present.With the (primary) Microsoft Account i've used when setting up the phone, those very same contacts are displayed as they should be.

View 2 Replies View RelatedDroid Turbo Ballistic 64G (running v5.1). Since the last 2 Android upgrades, phone has stopped displaying a Groups tab in contacts (Favorites & All Contacts are only tabs shown)
I haven't found any settings to fix this, and validated that other brand phones did not lose Groups tab after the upgrade!
Note: phone allows contacts to be assigned to groups (as always); but haven't found a way to utilize groups & would like that capability back!

I have joined my facebook, google, whatsapp and phone contacts. The problem starts when the display names are different.ow the phone has its own mind which contact name to display. I tried un-joining them and leave the name i want to be displayed "in this case PHONE and join them back again.his resolves the problem momentarily, but whenever I come back , its the same.his issue is also with Whatsapp connections, the contact name within whatsapp is apearing as per phone contact, but in joined view it displays from other accounts of the same person. This is very irritating.
