I was trying to get the hang of varios options an inadvertantly clicked something (I don't know what) and now can only save emails in draft form.
The "send" option on the email menu has vanished.Removed personal information to comply withCommunity GuidelinesandTerms and Conditions of Use.
How do I re install email icon on menu screen it disappeared
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am receiving emails just fine. When trying to forward, I merely hit the blackberry key and forward comes up with other options. I scroll to forward and then it wants the email address I want to forward to. After entering the email address, no matter which key I hit, Blackberry key or scroll button, I only get two choices...."Save Draft" and "Full Menu". I then click on Full Menu and there is no option to "send."

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have always used the emails on my BB whitout problems but now out of the blue the 'send' buttom disaperead...I still receive my emails and can reply them but if I decide to write an email or even send a photo, the 'send' function is not there anymore...also when I try to compose an email and start typing the contact details name or first letter of the name , BB don't show me the options of contact details so I have to tyoe it all by myself...(but as I don't have the 'send ' buttom anymore it doesn't matter, what is the point of composing an email?)

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having problems with my Curve 8530, for some reason I cant forward email to another email adress, it will not display the "Send" option on the menu, also I can't email a picture for the same reasons. I also noticed that before when I used to start typing an email adress the phone used to give me all the names with the first few letters but I dont get that anymore. I didnt make any changes to my emails accounts.

I'm having an issue with the menu/BlackBerry button (whatever it's called) The button seems to be stuck. So when I push it the menu will come up but it will automatically do what is highlighted, which is often close or open the tray if on the home screen. If I lock the phone it will darken but then lighten up as if I have pressed the button, but I haven't. It will say screen locked but will continously darken and lighten back up.
I was having this issue a little while ago and even took my phone apart to clean as I thought that was the issue but it did not help. Then I needed to charge it, which I normally do by plug in, but this time I used usb to computer. There seemed to be a substantial update for my phone which once completed fixed the issue with the button. Which was a huge relief as I was thinking I would have to pay somebody to fix and I don't want to do that. It is very pricey.
Well today it started back up. I connected it to the computer but it said there were no updates and did not fix the button problem. And yes I have tried battery pull.
While entering new number in contact list the menu key now operates the application switcher. an't access any apps other than on home screen.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI am currently subscribed to a blackberry data plan and was able to use my bbm until a week ago when all me BBM and PIN messages displayed a red X and has a status message of "service blocked" even if I am using 3G with the blackberry logo appearing next to it. I am able to send and receive emails and browse the internet.

All my settings are fine, I even went to the Vodaphone store to ask but they were stumped. I can send them via BBM and email but not through sms so it is not the end of the world but is just a bit odd and would rather it worked this way rather than via email.

To say it's frustrating is an understatement.My latest problem is that I am unable to send SMS. I keep getting a red cross and Call barred reply. I am able to receive SMS as well as make and receive phone calls. I pulled my sim out of my blackberry and put it in another phone to be sure that it wasn't my carrier (MTN) that had a problem. I was able to send the SMS with another phone.

On my old 9700 handset I could choose to reply to an inbound email from an account other than the one to which it was sent. When I clicked on the drop-down at the top of the Reply screen, all three were offered as a choice. Now on my 9900 handset, it doesn't give me any choice, and only shows the account to which the email was sent, for replying from. Is there a setting to change this, to allow a choice?

Now the internet is fixed but I can't send MMS. A large red cross just appears whenever I try to. When I call my provider, they say everything is active on my account, and I've had to go through the settings with them numorous times each time I call up because they don't believe me when I say I've done it all before.
