View 1 RepliesI am running BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1.0.32 and my BB is at Software version v4.5.0.174. I believe I recently updated the BlackBerry syncing software and now I am getting errors when I try to sync. Some errors say I don't have permission to a folder and some errors are just general sync errors. My Calendar seems to be syncing OK but not my contacts or my memo pad.

I have been using Outlook 2010 for quite a while and then switched to Outlook 2011 with my former employer. The switch went very smooth and even on my BlackBerry I did not notice any difference. All contact pictures remained on the device and even when I added new ones it was synchronized to the device perfectly independently of the image size. Now I've changed jobs and with my new employer I've re-imported my contacts into Outlook 2011 again. From an Outlook 2011 perspective everything looks great, all pictures are there however they are not on my BlackBerry. Every new contact or every removed one will synchronize perfectly to my BlackBerry - only the contact pictures won't. I've tried inserting new ones, I've played around with image sizes as I've read something about certain limitations, I've spoken to the BES admin and he confirmed this feature has not been turned off on the BES.

I've got a client with a bunch of BBs, they use BIS and Exchange. Whenever they send from Outlook, they get dupe emails on their phones. I found a supposed solution, which was to go into BIS and recreate the accounts with OWA instead of IMAP, but no matter what URL I type in, it tells me it's invalid. I also saw a possible solution that involved getting Exchange no to assign a new UID to the emails, but I'm not finding anything in Exchange to change that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently subscribed to a blackberry data plan and was able to use my bbm until a week ago when all me BBM and PIN messages displayed a red X and has a status message of "service blocked" even if I am using 3G with the blackberry logo appearing next to it. I am able to send and receive emails and browse the internet.

While I was on here regarding another quiery I though I would ask, does anyone know why my BB doesnt send picture messages via sms? All my settings are fine, I even went to the Vodaphone store to ask but they were stumped. I can send them via BBM and email but not through sms so it is not the end of the world but is just a bit odd and would rather it worked this way rather than via email.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry 9930 have been frustrating since I got it about 6mths ago. It's from one problem to another. RIM really needs to do something about this. To say it's frustrating is an understatement. My latest problem is that I am unable to send SMS. I keep getting a red cross and Call barred reply. I am able to receive SMS as well as make and receive phone calls. I pulled my sim out of my blackberry and put it in another phone to be sure that it wasn't my carrier (MTN) that had a problem. I was able to send the SMS with another phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have three email address accounts pushed to my BB 9900 handset under BIS. On my old 9700 handset I could choose to reply to an inbound email from an account other than the one to which it was sent. When I clicked on the drop-down at the top of the Reply screen, all three were offered as a choice. Now on my 9900 handset, it doesn't give me any choice, and only shows the account to which the email was sent, for replying from. Is there a setting to change this, to allow a choice?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Torch. I used to be able to send MMS and access the internet, then my handset was replaced, and suddenly I couldn't access the internet. Now the internet is fixed but I can't send MMS. A large red cross just appears whenever I try to. When I call my provider, they say everything is active on my account, and I've had to go through the settings with them numorous times each time I call up because they don't believe me when I say I've done it all before. So basically, apparently my account and settings are all correct

I have always used the emails on my BB whitout problems but now out of the blue the 'send' buttom disaperead...I still receive my emails and can reply them but if I decide to write an email or even send a photo, the 'send' function is not there anymore...also when I try to compose an email and start typing the contact details name or first letter of the name , BB don't show me the options of contact details so I have to tyoe it all by myself...(but as I don't have the 'send ' buttom anymore it doesn't matter, what is the point of composing an email?)
