Mar 27, 2010Ive got several albums on my memory card and I would like to transfer the music to the mass drive on the N97, I have dropped an album into sounds, then gone into the player and pressed the refresh option but unfortunately the album doesnt appear whatsoever.
Is there a certain folder that has to be made or even for the music to go into for the player to recognise it? Ive tried reversing the option and putting the album back onto my memory card, the album has disappeared altogether but still shows up for transferring to other folders. Can you possibly tell my where Im going wrong.
There is another problem thats arisen, the phone doesnt recognise the usb lead when attached to either my laptop or main pc, Im buying another lead so Im just hoping that would be an answer to my problem on that part.

BB Bold :: Outlook Sent And Deleted Folders?
Jul 5, 2011My office email uses Outlook but not Blackberry Enterprise Server. My phone (Bold 9000) has folders for Inbox, Contact and Calendar, but NOT Sent or Deleted folders. Messages sent from phone can only be seen on phones's Inbox (mixed with received messages). The Sent folder in Outlook is updated only after phone has been synchronized with desktop. It does not update wirelessly.Messages sent from Outlook of course appear in Outlook Sent folder. But the phone does not show any Sent folder. The "View Folder" menu item in the Message folder lists many folders (Inbox, MMS Inbox, MMS outbox, Visual Voice Mail, etc. The Outlook Sent folder is simply unavailable and I cannot find any way to make it appear.Others using this phone with BES seem able to see Sent folder. I do not want to send copies to myself, I get enough emails already. Is there a solution to this problem without installing BES or switching to iPhone?

I use Outlook 2007 [not Exchange] as email client along with Contacts/Notes etc.I have previously used Nokia PC to synch specific Outlook contacts and mail folders with Nokia E75 [i.e. just the ones that are relevant] because there are too many folders and other extraneous stuff that will just fill up the iPhone needlessly. Also extremely time consuming and resource hungry to do it all the time. PST is currently about 2.5Gb How do I select just specific folders from Outlook to synch with iTunes/iPhones? The other option would appear to be to use Google/GMail, which seems obtuse when iTunes is already on the computer. it just seems to be a pretty blunt object for a device with such finesse.I am also trying to find out how to make good use of the Blutooth and/or Wifi connection. which is easier/better/faster or is the USB cable the best, fastest and most reliable option?

So my individual email account on our web server recently got messed up. All emails up to a certain date (let's say Sept 2012) were wiped out. My backups are spotty, there's no copies of my emails on the server, nor on any device (all my devices are IMAP'ed to the web server).
My blackberry has a copy of all my emails, but I don't know how to copy them back onto the server. Is there any way I can reconcile it up through IMAP? Or can I export it to Outlook, and then force it there back onto the server?

Dec 5, 2011I have been using Outlook 2010 for quite a while and then switched to Outlook 2011 with my former employer. The switch went very smooth and even on my BlackBerry I did not notice any difference. All contact pictures remained on the device and even when I added new ones it was synchronized to the device perfectly independently of the image size. Now I've changed jobs and with my new employer I've re-imported my contacts into Outlook 2011 again. From an Outlook 2011 perspective everything looks great, all pictures are there however they are not on my BlackBerry. Every new contact or every removed one will synchronize perfectly to my BlackBerry - only the contact pictures won't. I've tried inserting new ones, I've played around with image sizes as I've read something about certain limitations, I've spoken to the BES admin and he confirmed this feature has not been turned off on the BES.

I cann't get any computer (Windows 7 or XP Pro) to recognize the device as "mass storage device" so I can access the memory card. There is plenty of items on the card, and I can access them fro mthe decive, but the computer won't "find" it. This is with DM 5.0 and 4.7, on windows XP Pro and Windows 7.
