BlackBerry :: No Contact Pictures Using Outlook 2011 And BES
Dec 5, 2011
I have been using Outlook 2010 for quite a while and then switched to Outlook 2011 with my former employer. The switch went very smooth and even on my BlackBerry I did not notice any difference. All contact pictures remained on the device and even when I added new ones it was synchronized to the device perfectly independently of the image size. Now I've changed jobs and with my new employer I've re-imported my contacts into Outlook 2011 again. From an Outlook 2011 perspective everything looks great, all pictures are there however they are not on my BlackBerry. Every new contact or every removed one will synchronize perfectly to my BlackBerry - only the contact pictures won't. I've tried inserting new ones, I've played around with image sizes as I've read something about certain limitations, I've spoken to the BES admin and he confirmed this feature has not been turned off on the BES.
Is There anyway to synchronise my calendar and contacts in Outlook 2011 for Mac with my blackberry torch. I am running bb desktop manager 2.0 for Mac and this gives no options other than to use ical and Mac address book. I am able to synchronise contacts with address book using the sync services on outlook, and then sync that with my bb, but it takes a while and loses some info on the way. There seems to be no way to use the outlook calendar.
I have a Macbook Pro OS X 10.9.3, iTunes 11.4, Outlook for Mac 2011 14.4.4 I can not get my iPhone 5S to sync with Outlook calendar. I have read through many forums and most posts are regarding PC users.Â
Just upgraded computer to a new 13-inch MBP. Business is moving over to outlook for mail & calendar services. Previously, I synched my iCalendar between my iphone and computer. Now, however, when I put new events into Outlook 2011's calendar, they will not sync up with my iPhone's calendar. I have done everything in iTunes that I can think of, including resetting my calendars in my phone. No luck.
I have an iPhone 4s and have it configured to sync with my Outlook 2011(14.2.0) running on Lion (10.7.3) . I see all the email, calendar, and contact items getting synched up with the latest changes. However the Notes that I have in outlook are not getting synched up. I tried configuring it to sync with Outlook 2010 running on Win 7 and everything works fine. I have reset the phone and tried to synch it back with 2011 and see the same problem with Notes. Don't see any updates on the iPhone.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1, Outlook 2011 (14.2.0) OS X 10.7.3
I synch my contacts from Outlook through Exchange server. I use contact pictures extensively, but none of my contacts on the RAZR have pictures. On the phone I added a picture to a contact. Later, I added notes to the contact on Outlook, and the picture on the phone disappeared. What's up with the pictures?
Is there anyway to send a PIN from my Outlook? We have lots of Blackberries in our organization, but the secretaries don't have them and often we need to PIN our bosses.
I am running BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1.0.32 and my BB is at Software version v4.5.0.174. I believe I recently updated the BlackBerry syncing software and now I am getting errors when I try to sync. Some errors say I don't have permission to a folder and some errors are just general sync errors. My Calendar seems to be syncing OK but not my contacts or my memo pad.
I am using Outlook 2010 and BB Torch 9860. The sent messages from my Outlook do not show up in the blackberry email (corporate email id) that I have configured. But sent messages from Blackberry do show up in sent messages on Outlook.
I have just downloaded all the new Blackberry Desktop updates and it still won't synchronise my outlook contacts with the Playbook. I have made a similar post before but got no answer that worked, come on guys please tel;l me how to get my Outlook (2010) contacta copied to my Playbook. Thjis problem is so frustrating . When I purchase the curve you were sble to swiftlt solve the problem telling me to use Synchamatic software but they have not got a similar solution for the Playbook, I have over 400 contacts please assist, I've waited over 6 months for a working solution.
I want to sent a picture from outlook to my blackberry as follows:
The picture should be embedded in the E-Mail. Is there any solution without converting the email into HTML file? Outlook normally formates the picture into a paintbrush picture which can not be opend.
I have the following problem on my BlackBerry, where I can use the system for almost a week without problems, after this period, I lose all contact e-mail saved from outlook, it's like losing synchronization server in my email.Currently disposal of version 5 of the BlackBerry Curve, I use Outlook and the network provider (telephone company) is the TIM.
I use yahoo email on my Blackberry and Outlook on my computer. Emails are coming to my phone and outlook, when I view them on my outlook and move them to a Outlook folder they disappear from my phone. It just shows my sent messages. I need to be able to see received messages too!
iTunes syncs contact info from the iPhone to Outlook, but it will not input the contact photos which are visible on the phone into the persons contact information. They just show up as a white square. If I open the contact it acts as if it's not there and gives me the option to add a photo.
I am not a blackberry user and it seems i am stumbling over what i thought would be a simple task.I have a device that has contacts on it and i need to sync the contacts to Outlook. I have install the BDM, backed up the phone. ent to the configure settings: -set Address Book to sync Device -> Outlook
I would like to sync my MS Outlook contact list to my phone but to do this my computer tells me I need to turn of Wireless Syncronisation. I have followed all the steps a million times and searched my entire phone, there is no mention of wireless synchronization in any of the menus.
I have been unable to communicate with one of my old contact since the worldwide blackberry contact a couple of weeks ago . So we decided to delete each other and add each other again. That did not work because whenever I send her invites, she never gets them . However, I get hers but when I hit accept it pushes her to 'pending' .This situation is weird and really frustrating.
While I was on here regarding another quiery I though I would ask, does anyone know why my BB doesnt send picture messages via sms? All my settings are fine, I even went to the Vodaphone store to ask but they were stumped. I can send them via BBM and email but not through sms so it is not the end of the world but is just a bit odd and would rather it worked this way rather than via email.
Sounds stupid, but I saw it on a TV show and was wondering if it can be done. Had a quick look and can't see the option but would be interested in a feature like that.
I have a Bold 9650 with Verizon and I set everything up to sync with outlook 2007 properly and it only picks up 2 contacts. I am running windows XP with the latest version of desktop manager. It syncs calender, memo pad etc fine but will only do those same two contacts each time. I have played with all the different settings within BB desktop manager but did not want to play with settings in outlook.
My contacts in my phone are just freakin' trashed, I have no idea how the hell it happened and im not sitting on my phone all night editing them, theres special characters in them, unnecessary numbers... how can I do it on my PC? Im not paying for Outlook, so thats out of the question...
My Outlook contact information on the PC ended up corrupted so I created another folder and moved all of the Outlook contact data to that folder (just as a precaution).
I then deleted all of the data in my Outlook contacts.
What I was hoping to do was push the data from the Bold 9650 to Outlook, effectively repopulating my contact list. The data on the phone is good. However, when I connect to the computer and it Desktop Manager attempts to sync the contact, it senses all contacts deleted in Outlook and asks if it can delete all contacts on the phone. I want to have it do the opposite, I want it to take the data from the phone and upload it to Outlook.
