While I was on here regarding another quiery I though I would ask, does anyone know why my BB doesnt send picture messages via sms? All my settings are fine, I even went to the Vodaphone store to ask but they were stumped. I can send them via BBM and email but not through sms so it is not the end of the world but is just a bit odd and would rather it worked this way rather than via email.

I am currently subscribed to a blackberry data plan and was able to use my bbm until a week ago when all me BBM and PIN messages displayed a red X and has a status message of "service blocked" even if I am using 3G with the blackberry logo appearing next to it. I am able to send and receive emails and browse the internet.
Here's the details of my phone
Model: 9300 3G
Carrier: Globe Telecom
Is there anyway to send a PIN from my Outlook? We have lots of Blackberries in our organization, but the secretaries don't have them and often we need to PIN our bosses.

To say it's frustrating is an understatement.My latest problem is that I am unable to send SMS. I keep getting a red cross and Call barred reply. I am able to receive SMS as well as make and receive phone calls. I pulled my sim out of my blackberry and put it in another phone to be sure that it wasn't my carrier (MTN) that had a problem. I was able to send the SMS with another phone.

I can send pics but just can't receive.It keeps saying my built in media support is full and my memory card is full. but its not.I have a 8520 curve, vodacom network. It just started recently. I could receive before. And I downloaded the new version of bbm some time back. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using Outlook 2010 for quite a while and then switched to Outlook 2011 with my former employer. The switch went very smooth and even on my BlackBerry I did not notice any difference. All contact pictures remained on the device and even when I added new ones it was synchronized to the device perfectly independently of the image size. Now I've changed jobs and with my new employer I've re-imported my contacts into Outlook 2011 again. From an Outlook 2011 perspective everything looks great, all pictures are there however they are not on my BlackBerry. Every new contact or every removed one will synchronize perfectly to my BlackBerry - only the contact pictures won't. I've tried inserting new ones, I've played around with image sizes as I've read something about certain limitations, I've spoken to the BES admin and he confirmed this feature has not been turned off on the BES.

I can see two of my contacts pictures because they changed them, but others I can't see. Someone even said they had changed their picture and I still can't see it. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9810, provider is Rogers. For some reason now when I try to email a picture I receive a popup that says "the attachment file may be reduced in size". Then it takes my nice high resolution photo and reduces the file size to under 100kb. The picture file size is much higher but the phone just reduces the file size.
I believe at some point when I emailed a picture a pop up came up and asked if I wanted to reduce the file size of the picture. I said yes but I think there was a check box that makes this choice apply to all pictures I try to email.
I can't find anywhere in any of the options where I can reset that decision and have the phone send full size pictures when I email them.
I could not download or send e-mail from my BB. I am getting the message ' Your device had problem connecting to the server' thx

On my old 9700 handset I could choose to reply to an inbound email from an account other than the one to which it was sent. When I clicked on the drop-down at the top of the Reply screen, all three were offered as a choice. Now on my 9900 handset, it doesn't give me any choice, and only shows the account to which the email was sent, for replying from. Is there a setting to change this, to allow a choice?

Now the internet is fixed but I can't send MMS. A large red cross just appears whenever I try to. When I call my provider, they say everything is active on my account, and I've had to go through the settings with them numorous times each time I call up because they don't believe me when I say I've done it all before. I have always used the emails on my BB whitout problems but now out of the blue the 'send' buttom disaperead...I still receive my emails and can reply them but if I decide to write an email or even send a photo, the 'send' function is not there anymore...also when I try to compose an email and start typing the contact details name or first letter of the name , BB don't show me the options of contact details so I have to tyoe it all by myself...(but as I don't have the 'send ' buttom anymore it doesn't matter, what is the point of composing an email?)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9000 and have recently taken it abroad where I have a separate SIM and BB account with a local network provider.Everything has been working perfectly since I changed SIM to the local provider (BBM, receiving email messages, Facebook notifications etc.). Recently though I've only been able to send emails if replying to an existing email. If I compose a new email the send option is missing. If I save as draft I lose all the data in the 'to' field. Having read the forums I've deleted the service books, done a battery pull, re-registered the host routing table and re-sent the service books (on my local network provider's page).I'm still in the same position whereby the send option is missing when I compose a new email but it's not missing if I choose to reply to an email.

Also, another wierd thing is I set up my profile so that I can have an alert when email messages come in and it does not work. All the other notifications work fine with that profile and the try me works fine but does not work when email messages come in.
I have a hand-me-down blackberry 9700 which I got unlocked because I live in china, and have a china mobile sim card is place. It is able to make and receive calls as well as receive all text messages. However, certain people do not receive my text messages, even when I reply directly to their message. Others do receive them. Is it because of their provider?
