Curve :: Can't Receive Pictures On Blackberry Messenger
Aug 30, 2012
I'm having a problem receiving pics on bbm. I can send pics but just can't receive. It keeps saying my built in media support is full and my memory card is full. but its not.I have a 8520 curve, vodacom network. It just started recently. I could receive before. And I downloaded the new version of bbm some time back. I tried soft reboot and hard reboot.I've deleted and reinstalled bbm but nothing. my options under memory are set as media card support: ON,mass storage support on. I have a 8gig memory card.
I just got the Bold 9900, everything is working fine, except I can't see any of my contacts pictures on blackberry messenger. I can see two of my contacts pictures because they changed them, but others I can't see. Someone even said they had changed their picture and I still can't see it. I deleted the contacts and readded them but this didn't resolve the problem. Also, I can no longer uninstall BBM and reinstall it
I just upgrade my BBM from v 5.0.1.41 to 5.0.3.22 but now I can't receive any picture sent in blackberry messenger. in the other phone it says "recipient was unable to save the file" I tried to delete and download again many times, but it still the same. I'm using blackberry curve 8900 OS 5.0.0.900 and blackberry messenger 5.0.3.22
I Can't Add People Or Receive Invitations From Friends On My Blackberry Messenger..It Used To Work A few Months Ago But Now It Don't. I have Updated It And It Don't Work.

All my pals are suddenly getting into Blackberry Messenger. For some reason i do not have the icon on my 8300 and whenever i try to download it i get a not compatible message back. can anybody out there help at all?
I've tried just about every trick in the book to get my BB to use the internet and BBM.
o2 say that all settings on the phone and their internal networks are correct. I send off to register the device, I never recieve a message back from BIS
I've been trying to get this sorted for 7 days now and I am so close to throwing the thing in the bin. Are there any RIM/Blackberry employees on this board that can take a look at it or tell me why the service book message just isn't being sent?
FWIW I bought this phone off a friend, on the same network and PAYG and everything worked fine with their sim, I put mine in and it just won't work, no matter what.
I've wiped, reset, downgraded OS, upgraded OS, gone over all settings, talked to o2 online, by phone, in store god knows how many times, and all i get is "register the device" IT DOES NOT WORK!
EDIT: I have an active blackberry bolt-on/data plan with o2
I recently sold my Nextel Blackberry Curve 8350i. It has been since disconnected and I have switched to another carrier. I have sold the phone but I don't know how to receive my e-mail accounts from my old Blackberry. Can anyone tell me how to delete them since it has already been disconnected from the network. Thank You.
I've had my phone since october and I Can't receive picture messages OR set up personal bbm. When I go to setup wizard-email setup it says select an email setup option: I want to use a work user with blackberry eneterprise user! That's ALL it says. I've tried hosting a rout table about 50 times and it don't work?
I have been using the 8530 for almost 2 years now. My phone fell in water and I had to get a new one. I had been on Verizon but recently switched to pageplus talk and text. I bought a new unlocked phone on ebay and there is no MMS text option on the new phone and I cannot send or receive pictures. My plan is the same one I had with the old phone and the MMS text worked on my old phone.
I am using curve 9300 3g OS 6.0 and having difficulties in receiving pictures from my friends andriod phone. I tried to look around for a solution but couldn't find. i am aware on how to activate bluetooth/pairing/encryption etc. also couldn't find any option " like receive media via bluetooth " in oS 6.0 which i see others have suggested.
whenever he sends me a file its prompts me to recieve which i accept. then it indicator shows its receiving on the other hand my fd shows 100% transfer my BB automatically disconnects the connections. i dont find anywhere this file was received neither phone ask me to save anywhere.
I'm getting ready to go on vacation for two weeks and would like to be able to send friends and family some pictures by text. None of them have Blackberry's....just regular cell phones or i phones. Will they be able to get my text pictures from my Blackberry using the MMS text feature? I may be crazy but I could swear when I first got my BB a year or two ago, I was able to send text pictures my SMS texts......No?
Even before the 'big crash' my daughters BBM didn't work. I have tried all the resets there are even uninstalled it, re-installed it etc. When I first got the phone 18 months ago it worked fine. Now wont send, wont receive, can't see anyone's pictures in the menu's. Got wi-fi, got credit, on Curve 8520
I have been trying to setup BBM on my phone, somehow i have created a username with no other information attached. Since then i have created a legitimate account with a different user name, but i can't work out how to remove the fake account to activate the BBM service.
Blackberry messenger failed to register with the blackberry messenger service. Regestraion is necessary to use the features of this application. your device time is correctly set, open the my profile screen and check the blackberry messenge regestration status.
I would like to know about the feasibility of the concept that if one of my friend (bbm user) lost his cell phone and would like to send message via any website through BBM PIN and get response over the same website.
My blackberry messenger has been working fine since I bought my blackberry. However, when i went to upgrade it today, it upgraded and then when I clicked on the icon it said uncaught exception, so I unistalled then deleted the app. Then I reinstalled it. It is showing on application management, and it is reinstalled, however I can't seem to find the app! What can I do to get it back?
I am currently using the bold 9780 and I'm upgrading to the new bold 9900 and I was wondering if you could transfer all of my blackberry messenger contacts to my new phone. I have 187 bbm contacts and writing them all down and adding them back one by one is definitely not an option I'm willing to make.
I reformat my blackberry OS, and all my contact and group in BlackBerry Messenger is lost... how to recover back the group that i did and no one knows the passwd... who is can invite people is me only.
I'm using bold 9700 Orange. I've been clicking on the bbm icon for the past three days now it doesn't open. I even tried the reboot solution for like 10 times it didn't work. I removed the battery for 1 hour the problem still persist. It shows on my home screen when I have pings but I can't read. Other applications are working well.
I'm using a Blackberry Curve 9300, it seems to freeze a lot lately, sometimes for hours at a time. Like this morning it froze from 12midnight until 5:30am. When it freezes I get a black squared clock at the centre of my screen. I then decided to whip out everything on my phone thinking if I did that everything will be back to normal. After whipping out all my stuff now not only do I still experience the same problem of freezing, I now lost all my BB Messenger contacts that I can't restore. I now don't know what to do. how do I stop my phone from freezing all the the time and how do I restore all my contacts!
