I am currently subscribed to a blackberry data plan and was able to use my bbm until a week ago when all me BBM and PIN messages displayed a red X and has a status message of "service blocked" even if I am using 3G with the blackberry logo appearing next to it. I am able to send and receive emails and browse the internet.

I'm wanting to send picture msgs but it just won't work when I attempt it I've checked the settings & everythings fine

It is able to make and receive calls as well as receive all text messages. However, certain people do not receive my text messages, even when I reply directly to their message. my bb has started acting weird, sometimes( not always) when screen unlocked it automatically selects apps,writes messages,deletes messages,send messages etc. its like someone is logged in remotley and doing this, what is this and how can i stop it?

Just recently I have had some problems sending normal text messages..The problem is when I want to send a text I go to my contacts and try to send a sms message, but instead of opening up a conversation window I get taken straight to my recieved messages... I havent had a problem replying to messages after people have texted me, its iniating the converstation thats not working.

All my settings are fine, I even went to the Vodaphone store to ask but they were stumped. To say it's frustrating is an understatement.My latest problem is that I am unable to send SMS. I keep getting a red cross and Call barred reply. I am able to receive SMS as well as make and receive phone calls. I pulled my sim out of my blackberry and put it in another phone to be sure that it wasn't my carrier (MTN) that had a problem. I was able to send the SMS with another phone.

Does not work to resend, tried power down, sync, turning on and off mms switch. Can not resolve this issue. Could it be the carrier?

On my old 9700 handset I could choose to reply to an inbound email from an account other than the one to which it was sent. When I clicked on the drop-down at the top of the Reply screen, all three were offered as a choice. Now on my 9900 handset, it doesn't give me any choice, and only shows the account to which the email was sent, for replying from. Is there a setting to change this, to allow a choice?

Now the internet is fixed but I can't send MMS. A large red cross just appears whenever I try to. I have always used the emails on my BB whitout problems but now out of the blue the 'send' buttom disaperead...I still receive my emails and can reply them but if I decide to write an email or even send a photo, the 'send' function is not there anymore...also when I try to compose an email and start typing the contact details name or first letter of the name , BB don't show me the options of contact details so I have to tyoe it all by myself...(but as I don't have the 'send ' buttom anymore it doesn't matter, what is the point of composing an email?)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9000 and have recently taken it abroad where I have a separate SIM and BB account with a local network provider.Everything has been working perfectly since I changed SIM to the local provider (BBM, receiving email messages, Facebook notifications etc.). Recently though I've only been able to send emails if replying to an existing email. If I compose a new email the send option is missing. If I save as draft I lose all the data in the 'to' field. Having read the forums I've deleted the service books, done a battery pull, re-registered the host routing table and re-sent the service books (on my local network provider's page).I'm still in the same position whereby the send option is missing when I compose a new email but it's not missing if I choose to reply to an email.
