I have always used the emails on my BB whitout problems but now out of the blue the 'send' buttom disaperead...I still receive my emails and can reply them but if I decide to write an email or even send a photo, the 'send' function is not there anymore...also when I try to compose an email and start typing the contact details name or first letter of the name , BB don't show me the options of contact details so I have to tyoe it all by myself...(but as I don't have the 'send ' buttom anymore it doesn't matter, what is the point of composing an email?)
Well look like RIM its having problem again, my users can not send emails. I have half of the with the same problem every time the send an email they receive an error that says message include an invalid address
I've tried sending it so many times but I can't the only thing I have as an option when I hit the MENU>SEND USING BLUE TOOTH>RECEIVE USING BLUE TOOTH . But I cant send it
I got a new bold 9900 2 days ago, all was going well, but when I open an email, I don't see the options create, send, forward reply etc, I have to go via the blackberry button?
my phone is having a strange problem. When I send email to one peron, it returns a general failure message. It's only this person, with both of their email addresses.
When i press the power Buttom the Screen Backout, but never get locked, even that i use security passowrd, but it never get locked, suddenly this happens, besides having all Contacts un reachable to call, when i receive calls i can see contacts but in phone book Nill (no contacts at all), all of this happened suddenly
i feel so lost without my bb. i was deleting msgs from my inbox and then next thng i knw my whols sms icon has gone! ive tried every possible thing and it wont come back.
I had updated my blackberry world application & after the installation is complete the device rebooted , the problem is that I can't find the icon , I found the app in the application management , but can't find the icon & I can't run it at all
I don't know what happed but I can find my app world anywhere. I've tried unhiding it and deleting it and reinstalling but it doesn't work. The only way for me to access it is to go online.
My Blackberry no longer shows an "Add to Contacts" option in my messages when receiving a message from an unsaved contact after a recent software update.
Today my entire contact list disappeared. Also, in the text messages app my recipients cellphone phone numbers are displayed but only some of the contact names are displayed.
While I was attempting to move my alarm clock icon higher up on my menu, I hit the track ball to put it down and the icon disappeared. I restarted the phone and I cannot find it now. I hit the "show hidden" option, and it isn't there. The indication that the alarm is set still appears on my home page however.
i have a Curve 9300 and recently upgraded to BBM 6 At first it worked ok but the functionality to send pictures and all other files through BBM was not available - it wasn't even a selection in the main menu. When I tired to go through the pictures folder sending to a bbm contact was not an option. since then i had to reboot the phone and the BBM icon has disappeared. It is noted as installed on my app world listing but I cannot run it or open it and icon has disappeared from my menu!
Ive recently bought the bb bold 9780, it was working fine the first week. Now all of a sudden, when i switch the phone on, java script error msg's appear, also which is most frustrating,, my inbox icon has disappeared & i cant send or receive messages. I've even taken it to an o2 guru, they were baffled an hadnt seen it before.
I am currently subscribed to a blackberry data plan and was able to use my bbm until a week ago when all me BBM and PIN messages displayed a red X and has a status message of "service blocked" even if I am using 3G with the blackberry logo appearing next to it. I am able to send and receive emails and browse the internet.
Is there anyway to send a PIN from my Outlook? We have lots of Blackberries in our organization, but the secretaries don't have them and often we need to PIN our bosses.
While I was on here regarding another quiery I though I would ask, does anyone know why my BB doesnt send picture messages via sms? All my settings are fine, I even went to the Vodaphone store to ask but they were stumped. I can send them via BBM and email but not through sms so it is not the end of the world but is just a bit odd and would rather it worked this way rather than via email.
My blackberry 9930 have been frustrating since I got it about 6mths ago. It's from one problem to another. RIM really needs to do something about this. To say it's frustrating is an understatement.My latest problem is that I am unable to send SMS. I keep getting a red cross and Call barred reply. I am able to receive SMS as well as make and receive phone calls. I pulled my sim out of my blackberry and put it in another phone to be sure that it wasn't my carrier (MTN) that had a problem. I was able to send the SMS with another phone.
I have three email address accounts pushed to my BB 9900 handset under BIS. On my old 9700 handset I could choose to reply to an inbound email from an account other than the one to which it was sent. When I clicked on the drop-down at the top of the Reply screen, all three were offered as a choice. Now on my 9900 handset, it doesn't give me any choice, and only shows the account to which the email was sent, for replying from. Is there a setting to change this, to allow a choice?
I would like pictures taken in the field (on BB Bold or BB Curve) to be automatically uploaded to the server in the office. I figured out how to email a picture, but I would like to reduce the number of steps required.
I have a Blackberry Torch. I used to be able to send MMS and access the internet, then my handset was replaced, and suddenly I couldn't access the internet. Now the internet is fixed but I can't send MMS. A large red cross just appears whenever I try to. When I call my provider, they say everything is active on my account, and I've had to go through the settings with them numorous times each time I call up because they don't believe me when I say I've done it all before. So basically, apparently my account and settings are all correct
