Nov 13, 2010The problem is i have resived 23messeges and some of them are verry important i need to open them, but without the trackpad i cant go to the messege icon, is there a way that i can read the text messeges without using the trackpad, or navigate tru the menu?untill i get a new phone/replace it will be too late to respond to them

When u click on media, then hit the button beside your call button then tap explore then hit media card, and tap on folder desired. the new program has me confused and I accidentally deleted all pictures a particular folder.

Nov 15, 2010I just switched from one curve to the exact same one. I'm not exactly sure what is going on, but the only time zone I have available is Casablanca. Which is not where I am located.
I've updated the time manually, but my calendar and everything else is in the wrong time zone.

When I press details it says "General: memory full. Close some applications and try again".... I have no applications
open and have pressed and held the menu button to check and defiantly don't. I have turned it off And on, re installed message settings, deleted stuff, even reinstalled factory settings and its still not working id much appreciate some help. It did the same thing on Tuesday but was fine when I woke up Wednesday morning. It did it again 10pm Wednesday night and is still the same and its Friday xx I have posted this message on facebook and got told to ask here. I don't know if there is already a topic on this, but I really want to sort this problem out. I have always had Ionians and they have usually been very reliable...

BlackBerry :: 8520 Cutting Off And Then Taking A Long Time
Jan 12, 2011Having a bit of problems with my 8520.1st of all-when the battery is very low (which is everyday, as the battery is only lasting a few hours) it cuts off completely and when switched on, it takes a long long time to come on (getting white screen with hourglass. When it comes back on, it has erased all information which has been previously stored...fone numbers/messages etc.When trying to delete apps, it cuts off again.I dont know if settings are to blame or what, but it is really getting annoying!! Have lost a couple of important numbers and messages because it seems to have reset itself.

I am able to receive SMS as well as make and receive phone calls. I pulled my sim out of my blackberry and put it in another phone to be sure that it wasn't my carrier (MTN) that had a problem. Dec 10, 2010I would like to know if there is a way to avoid calendar appointment times changing when the time zone automatically updates. I would book theatre tickets in New York at 8pm and put that in my calendar. When my BB Curve updates the time to New York time from South African time, all my appointments also change by the 7 hour difference.
Is there a way of keeping the calendar entries at the entered time when the phone updates it's time zone. This also happens when updating the time manually on the phone.

On my old 9700 handset I could choose to reply to an inbound email from an account other than the one to which it was sent. Now on my 9900 handset, it doesn't give me any choice, and only shows the account to which the email was sent, for replying from. Is there a setting to change this, to allow a choice?

Aug 6, 2010I have always used the emails on my BB whitout problems but now out of the blue the 'send' buttom disaperead...I still receive my emails and can reply them but if I decide to write an email or even send a photo, the 'send' function is not there anymore...also when I try to compose an email and start typing the contact details name or first letter of the name , BB don't show me the options of contact details so I have to tyoe it all by myself...(but as I don't have the 'send ' buttom anymore it doesn't matter, what is the point of composing an email?)
