Is there a way to tell if and when a user changes the time on a BB? Same thing with turning the GPS on and off, is there an event log that captures those types of changes, and if so, how might I get to it?

How can I make an all day event remind me the evening before. The only reminder options are 9:00 the day of (which is too late) or 9:00 the day before (which gives you a whole day to forget about it). Why can I not select when I want a reminder? I have tried both alert tab in the event itself, and the default alert setting under settings/mail, contacts, calendars/default alert times.

My Bravo has begun not synching with my computer's google calendar. When I tap an event that I created on my phone, I get the the following message in the blue box that should contain the event details " fake event to work around a calendar issue" How can I fix this? Googling that phrase has led to several other folks having the same problem, none with solutions that I can find.

Do not disconnect." I started the process about 90 minutes ago and it shows "Progressing" and "preparing sync preview." How long is this process supposed to take? Having a bit of problems with my 8520.1st of all-when the battery is very low (which is everyday, as the battery is only lasting a few hours) it cuts off completely and when switched on, it takes a long long time to come on (getting white screen with hourglass. When it comes back on, it has erased all information which has been previously stored...fone numbers/messages etc.When trying to delete apps, it cuts off again.I dont know if settings are to blame or what, but it is really getting annoying!! Have lost a couple of important numbers and messages because it seems to have reset itself.

I would book theatre tickets in New York at 8pm and put that in my calendar. When my BB Curve updates the time to New York time from South African time, all my appointments also change by the 7 hour difference.
Is there a way of keeping the calendar entries at the entered time when the phone updates it's time zone. This also happens when updating the time manually on the phone.

I can't add a new event to my calendar on iPhone. The plus sign is greyed out and even when I try it with Siri it says "Sorry. I can't do that right now". I did my due diligence and searched all over the forums and internet and I can't fix this. There was a listing in a forum where a lady had this same symptom but it looks like toggling iCloud worked for her. Not for me. I went into Settings>iCloud and turned off Calendar and then turned it back on. Still nothing. I even went to iCloud Backup and turned it on then back off and still nothing.

There is a notification when event is about to start.
What I need is some notification tells me that event is happening now will finish in some minutes later.
My friend has a VX8360, and a random calandar event has been coming up on it. The event name is ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ and its for many many years in the future. Notice the weird time also. The alarm sound is the verizon default tone rather than her default alarm sound. It only happens exactly 5 minutes after she deletes one of her own events that has just gone off. I tried editing the date of the event, but the phone resets itself. It's really creepy. Also, the event is nowhere to be found in the calandar, seeing as it only goes up to the year 2100.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI don't know why, but I just can't clear the Event Log completely. I am always left with two logs that can't be cleared. The two logs says, Error and Severe Error. It's hasn't affect the phone, but it's pretty disturbing with two logs unable to clear. I had tried Battery Pull, resets and it still can't be deleted. My Phone is the Bold 9900. Carrier is Singtel. OS vers 7.1.0.
