I received a message from Blackberry this morning about updating my 9630. I clicked on the link to update and got a message saying "Synchronizing BlackBerry Tour 9630. Do not disconnect." I started the process about 90 minutes ago and it shows "Progressing" and "preparing sync preview." How long is this process supposed to take? What is a contact email to Blackberry technical assistance to get support?
View 1 RepliesAbout a week ago my Windows Live Hotmail was hacked. Reset password and everything appears to be OK there. On Mon. did the software upgrade from OS 6.2xxx to 6.3xxx. Can't get email to my Bold 9650 now. Neither the old password nor the new one works, though the old one works with my Facebook account. Can't add another hotmail account or uninstall the existing account so I could start over. Yes, the email works everywhere else.

I would book theatre tickets in New York at 8pm and put that in my calendar. When my BB Curve updates the time to New York time from South African time, all my appointments also change by the 7 hour difference.
Is there a way of keeping the calendar entries at the entered time when the phone updates it's time zone. This also happens when updating the time manually on the phone.

After updating some apps, I was told to reboot my phone. I did this and realised it had been stuck on the same part of the "loading bar" for quite a while. I thought this was just a glich and took the battery out to try again and once again it got stuck on the SAME part of the bar.

Having a bit of problems with my 8520.1st of all-when the battery is very low (which is everyday, as the battery is only lasting a few hours) it cuts off completely and when switched on, it takes a long long time to come on (getting white screen with hourglass. When it comes back on, it has erased all information which has been previously stored...fone numbers/messages etc.When trying to delete apps, it cuts off again.I dont know if settings are to blame or what, but it is really getting annoying!! Have lost a couple of important numbers and messages because it seems to have reset itself.

Isn't it lovely that Apple cannot fix or replace the unit that their own software destroyed at no cost to me ($200 plus tax to get a replacement). I have two more years to pay on my contract and I don't understand how a company this large can leave their customers (ME!) high and dry like this. I could understand had I damaged the phone by being careless or if the product was something cheap, but I took care of this expensive product and Apple should be accountable when their upgrades destroy a persons property.

View 4 Replies View RelatedEver since I updated the softward on my device (about a week ago) my lock function doesn't work. I have set all the same securities as before (Options/Password/Enable) however when I push the "Lock" button on the top of the device it only locks they keypad. If I push it again it simply unlocks the device, it does not prompt for a password. I have to wait for the device to reach it's security time out before there is a password prompt to unlock.

2. the alarm cant be switched off using touch screen .
