Jan 30, 2010When I switch on the camera application the track pad doesn't zoom anymore like it used to. The track pad on the screen shows only the + sign on top of the tracking pad but the - sign has disappeared, in the panel it shows zoom at 1.0x. I have pressed the accessory bottom and the function for zoom in and out have disappeared as well. The letter commands on the key board for zooming in and out don't work either. I would appreciate any assistance I can get.

Feb 8, 2012About a week ago my Windows Live Hotmail was hacked. Reset password and everything appears to be OK there. On Mon. did the software upgrade from OS 6.2xxx to 6.3xxx. Can't get email to my Bold 9650 now. Neither the old password nor the new one works, though the old one works with my Facebook account. Can't add another hotmail account or uninstall the existing account so I could start over. Yes, the email works everywhere else.

Aug 6, 2010I have always used the emails on my BB whitout problems but now out of the blue the 'send' buttom disaperead...I still receive my emails and can reply them but if I decide to write an email or even send a photo, the 'send' function is not there anymore...also when I try to compose an email and start typing the contact details name or first letter of the name , BB don't show me the options of contact details so I have to tyoe it all by myself...(but as I don't have the 'send ' buttom anymore it doesn't matter, what is the point of composing an email?)

Aug 28, 2011I have just purchased a Nokia C3-00. The left-hand side contacts key function is inactive, however, and I can't get this button to do anything. When I press the left-hand side Contacts Function key, nothing hapens at all.When I go to Menus > Settings > My Shortcuts, I can find information on the "Contacts Key," and it says "Contacts Key Off." When I click the "select" button at this menu to edit the contacts key, I see a menu for "Contacts Key" and the "off" radio button is clicked. But there is no option for changing this radio button to "on." If I try to click the menu button at this screen, I simply get a message confirming the fact that the "contacts key function is inactive." I would like the turn on the contacts key.

Nov 23, 2013I got an HTC One two days ago and transferred my contacts, music and photos from my old phone (a Samsung Galaxy S) using the HTC Transfer tool. It worked like a charm - or so I thought. After trying to send a text today, my entire contact list was completely gone, and the phone is telling me it has zero contacts stored in either phone storage or on the SIM card.
The contacts were there four hours ago. My call history is also deleted, but my texts messages are still saved. Even stranger is that the photos and music that were transferred are still there. Luckily I still have my old phone and can transfer the contacts over again, but it's odd this would happen at all. I'm wondering if it may have to do with google+, as I switched over sms to google+ hangouts this morning on the phone (but I can't see how this would make a difference).

May 29, 2012I changed my primary email for my apple id and installed find my friends. I configured iCloud and mid text, all my contact names disappeared. In iCloud.com I have no contacts, on my phone I have no contacts, and I did not back up anywhere.

I saw several questions saying this was caused by iCloud but i had no chance to register if it is not created automatically. I used the one (just forgot how it was called - the one that syncs all apple products and which was inactivated in a few days) - maybe it is because of this? But i dont think - it should not be this.

Sep 9, 2014i keep not being able to find my contacts when i scroll through the list but they would come up when i search. to try and fix this i went into the menu and changed the sort order to first name first as it was surname first. it has now deleted most of my contacts, leaving mostly only the ones that do not contain phone numbers (i think my gmail ones) and i cant find a way of getting them back. Strangely, at first some still came up when i searched but now (i'm not sure what i did in the process of trying to fix it) now there is definitely nothing there. I had not yet set up icloud so they are not stored there but may be in an old google account from my old phone which isnt showing up even though gmail is set to sync.

If I try to copy them to my phonebook, nothing happens and the contacts doesn't appear on my contactlist. It also seem as if it is all the most used contacts that are missing.

Jun 7, 2010When setting ring tone adjustments through the ring icon or when editing the contacts folder too quickly, the folder disappears from the main screen and is always replaced by the yellow pages app. I have searched all folders and it cannot be located. However, the info can be accessed by telephone or e-mail settings. If I pull the battery and reboot it is restored. Bell told me that it was a hardware issue, but replacing the phone still has the same issue. I have finger mobility issues, so I tried assorted battery pull and restart apps, but either they just don't work on the 9550 or they only work once. Hopefully when OS6 is released this will be remedies, unless any one can suggest one.

Mar 10, 2015So I woke up this morning and suddenly ALL my contacts were gone. My phone log was wiped as well. I did not install any apps or alter any settings last night.
I've checked the filters, that's not the problem (and it shouldn't affect the phone log either, right?)
I've tried closing the "contacts" app and clearing the data, that didn't do it either.
How to restore my contacts and/or prevent it from happening again?
