5.1 appears to have broken the relationship function in contacts on the iPhone 4s. You no long have "relationships" as a field to add to the contact. I'm limited to 3 only. Worked in 5.0.

In the Facebook, The status updates come through when using the actualy facebook app, mobile site and regular website. Has Motorola done something to the Motoblur widget that would be preventing these from coming through? Setting the widget to show updates from only that contact/friend doesn't even allow them to come through.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently updated my 5800 to the long-awaited v40 firmware and so far it's great, but I've got one serious issue with it. In the previous firmware, the contacts on the homescreen used the default number when I pressed the telephone icon, but now in the new firmware when I select a homescreen contact and press the call icon, a popup appears asking me which number I'd like to call. This is slightly strange, seeing as the same contact selected from the Contacts Book correctly uses the default number without asking. I have tried removing the default number settings and setting it again, and also removing contacts from the homescreen and adding them again, but neither worked. It's pretty annoying, because having certain contacts on the homescreen is meant, at least in my opionion, to speed things up, like speed dial, but now it requires an additional click before the call is made... So, anybody know how to make the HS contacts use default numbers?

In personalisation it definitely shows Contacts as what it should be opening. Any ideas to fix?

I have a Galaxy s5 which I bought from Sprint and my screen has turned black and nothing I have tried fixes it. I already bought a new s6 but now I want to recover my messages, contacts, and pictures from my old phone. My s5 is already n usb debugging mode but since it is rooted I have to click allow to use any third party app to recover my files but mt screen has zero functionality. When I press the left-hand side Contacts Function key, nothing hapens at all.When I go to Menus > Settings > My Shortcuts, I can find information on the "Contacts Key," and it says "Contacts Key Off." When I click the "select" button at this menu to edit the contacts key, I see a menu for "Contacts Key" and the "off" radio button is clicked. But there is no option for changing this radio button to "on." If I try to click the menu button at this screen, I simply get a message confirming the fact that the "contacts key function is inactive." I would like the turn on the contacts key.

I've gone through all the settings about a million times and everything is setup properly. I'm currently using an app called Force Gmail Sync to keep my Google account synced up . It works great but I'd prefer to just be running Google apps on my phone and keep everything stock. I've tried a factory reset with no luck. Any secret way to set a sync frequency for Google's Gmail and Contacts apps without using a third party app?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently dropped my Droid Turbo and after picking it up, saw that my screen no longer worked at all and it began restarting itself and playing the "Start up" sound effect over and over. I have important contacts and pictures on this phone and I'd really like to be able to save them. So far I can (sometimes) see it is attached to my computer, but I can retrieve any files because I can't turn on media sharing due to the broken screen and continuous restarting.
I have already gotten my replacement from the warranty I bought from Verizon but I'm unable to connect them to transfer anything. I have also already switched over the simcard and it seems nothing was saved on there either in relation to my contacts or pictures. (If that's even what a sim card is for?)

I was using my iPhone, and it was at 14%, which is okay, because it usually doesn't turn off until about 2%. So I go to plug it in, and I always charge it in my computer because I don't have a wall adapter for my USB. As soon as I do so, the screen goes completely black. I tried pressing buttons, calling it, plugging it into something else, and nothing has worked. When I called it, it kept ringing, so that's how I know it isn't dead.

I have a question about something that's been annoying me quite some time now:When my phone is in sleep mode and I get a call the slider appears but is very hard to use. My phone functions normally, but there is a strange issue regarding the act of selecting apps, typing, swiping, etc. The touch response is acting very strangely because whenever I touch an app or anything, a border forms around the icon that I touch, and the only way to open the app or funtion is to do a double-tap. To select another app or function, I must first select the app to get the border placed around it, and then I must double-tap it again. This makes the whole process very cumbersome and irritating.

So I had to reset my iPhone because it completely froze while I was browsing the web. When I restarted it, my service bars would show up, but not my carrier name. But now, after resetting my network settings, turning off/on the phone, and taking out and placing in the sim card (even replacing it), it shows my carrier, but my signal bar is COMPLETELY flat. I'm running on T-Mobile, so I'm not sure if it has to do with the phone or my carrier.
