I have a question about something that's been annoying me quite some time now:When my phone is in sleep mode and I get a call the slider appears but is very hard to use. It's gotten so bad that I've missed calls because of it.Then when the call is gone it operates just fine without any hesitation. What's up with that? And are there any tricks to get around this?
all of a sudden I cant hear music or video audio on my iphone 4s - the slider bar for the volume control has disappeared and the +- buttons on the side dont work. Ive tried a basic reset and also backup and restore of software thru an itunes sync but it hasnt solved it
The phone wont play music out loud including videos and such, the volume slider has disappeared from the any media screen and wont make my alert sound for texts, ringer volume also disappreared. But sometimes it will come through as a text and then the volume slider will again disappear. Or best to go to genius bar? Ive tried a reset, plugged in to itunes and charger and nothing has worked.
I cannot get the slider on the touch screen to unlock my iPhone 3G. There are parts of the screen that do not work consistently. I can grab the slider and move it, but right before the phone should unlock the slider disengages and moves back to the left.
i have switch my iphone 3gs on and the screen is very enlarged and can not use slider bar and go any further on the phone, i have taken sim out and re inserted it and no change?
This problem started yesterday. Sometimes the screen is completely unresponsive. I can unlock the phone by the camera icon only. The phone also seems to be slightly warm.
Why my iPhone behaves in a way like it was switched into a docking station?
When I play a music (using iPhone speakers), the iPhone automatically switches from 'iPhone" into "docking station" after several seconds of playing a music.
I've already been resetting iPhone, cleaning the docking station port off - it's ok from the hardware point of view. Â
I've just purchased a BB Torch and would like to get the slider to turn the phone on and off as a traditional slide phone would. Is this possible and how do I do it?
The top part of the phone which is covered by the slider has 4 buttons (for pic viewing, music and games).I found it very convenient to play games with it. However, only the 2 middle buttons are available for n gage games. The top and bottom one are not, and it's a shame cause they could be very useful in some games. Why?? and can this be changed somehow so that all 4 buttons will be operatable in games?
recently ive come into a few issues with my N97 and my local nokia care center for that matter.as far as i am aware, nokia has acknowledged that the earlier model N97 had a design fault with the camera assembly where the lens slider is mounted too close to the glass, and as a result, was easily scratched.from my research a while ago, nokia acknowledged this and that it would be covered under warranty, and that they would replace the camera assembly with a newer model that doesnt have this issue.
however, my local nokia care centre refuse to acknowledge the issue and has caused my a lot of problems. the first time i brought my phone in, they correctly replaced the camera assembly with the new one. however, they somehow managed to stop the phone from recognising any sim card. so i brought it back in again, and this time they replaced the phone with a blank N97, however, this n97 had firmware issues and had the original camera slider with the design fault, and they continued to act rude and said that i didnt know what i was talking about and continued to insult me stating that it is not an acknowledged issue with the phone.
now, can someone confirm for me, or better yet, supply me with a link about the official nokia statement on this matter?
I've just transfered to the o2 simplicity contract where I supply my own phone. The phone is an ex Orange 6500 slider (my ex works phone) which was unlocked in the local shopping centre and is approx 2 years old.I can send mms's ok but if someone sends them to me I get t text saying i have to view them on-line.I've tried to send myself the mms / wap settings several times via the o2 website / via texting the 2020 number but each time they come through the text calls them Orange World.I've emailed o2 & they say i'm all set to accept them but there's obviously a issue my end with the phone. I'm trying to get into town to speak to o2 & Nokia shops personally but won't be able to for a couple of weekends!Any thoughts please people?
I've had my Torch for about four days now and I love it, but tonight, all of a sudden, the buttons on the slider face (phone, menu, trackpad, back, end/power) aren't lighting up anymore. is it something I did that's totally fixable?

i bought a new iphone 4, and everything seems to work fine, after one month i updated to the new apple softwear 5.1.1 and suddenly a blue shadow in the right down cornor (not a stuck pixel ! as the guy from Apple store said) appeared and its ANNOYING! how to fix it? Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1, i phone 4 blue dot appears in the s
I was using my iPhone, and it was at 14%, which is okay, because it usually doesn't turn off until about 2%. So I go to plug it in, and I always charge it in my computer because I don't have a wall adapter for my USB. As soon as I do so, the screen goes completely black. I tried pressing buttons, calling it, plugging it into something else, and nothing has worked. When I called it, it kept ringing, so that's how I know it isn't dead.
My torch 9800 slider is not working properly. Whenever I go to unlike my phone the screen does not get displayed. Another thing is that my blackberry was girt so I don't have a bill so how do I get my warranty?
I have a torch 9800 running 6.0 software and all of sudden when i open the slider to use the physical keyboard the screen gets strange colors and writing and app icons turn backwards. But using the virtual keyboard and keep the slider down i have no problems.
My 2 week old G4 went crazy today, first thing I noticed was hearing the camera taking continuous photos while in my pocket, I took the phone out and watched the volume slider appear on screen and then go all the way down to mute, all three rear buttons were unresponsive and then the slider appeared and volume went up to full on its own.
I removed the battery as the power button was non-responsive. Put it back in and booted up, all fine for half an hour and then it went through the same thing again. I've resorted to a factory reset, fingers crossed.
My droid definitely had an issue with the slider mechanism. It became extremely loose and would open up in my pocket all the time. Also, there was a huge gap between the slider and the keyboard. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
URL...We’re still trying to confirm the model number of the handset, but it’s definitely in the Bold lineup as has been rumored, and now confirmed via the branding on the back of the phone. Oh, the device is also running OS 6.0
