My torch 9800 slider is not working properly. Whenever I go to unlike my phone the screen does not get displayed. Another thing is that my blackberry was girt so I don't have a bill so how do I get my warranty?

I have just updated my blackberry phone from the blackberry pearl series to the curve 9330 phone. On the pearl I was able to download the backberry shortcuts for the major league baseball teams that I follow. On the curve that is running the OS 6.0 system when I download the same shortcuts and try to run them I get the java.lang error for anything dealing with baseball. My carrier is verizon. If I type the name of the team in the browser in the long form e.g. raysbaseball.com I have no problem going to the team home page. I just get the error when I try to use the shortcut. Could someone tell me what to do. I have java script enabled in the browser.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI updated the software on my phone a few weeks ago, which resulted in the phone turning itself off constantly. However, when I take a picture it looks as if its saved, but when I go to the media files a little later all I see is a picture icon not the actual picture.
When I use the video camera it seems to save and I have been able to view once or twice, but after a period of time the file turns into a music file with no video. This has resulted in several videos of my baby daughter being lost and being replace by the same music.
I have followed the advice on the forum by deleting .dat files from the folders. This has resulted in the pictures taken since the upgrade disappearing altogether. The only way I can keep a picture is by emailing it to myself instantly.
I bought my Torch 9800 two weeks ago and my video camera works fine, very fine, but I cannot take a picture when I change to camera mode. Just appear a black screen and the button stay in gray color (disabled).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9650 with O/S 5..0.0.975.Main issue is that the voice and video of a video file are not in sync. The video plays slower than the voice. I believe that it is true for all video files. They were all loaded via BB Desktop Manager and all the files have the same extensions (MP4). They play fine on my computer.don't tell me to load O/S 6.0. That OS does has so many bugs that it is useless. I have loaded it twice over the course of 6 or 7 months and both times it simply fails to function properly.

However, only the 2 middle buttons are available for n gage games. The top and bottom one are not, and it's a shame cause they could be very useful in some games.Why?? and can this be changed somehow so that all 4 buttons will be operatable in games?
View 5 Replies View Relatedrecently ive come into a few issues with my N97 and my local nokia care center for that matter.as far as i am aware, nokia has acknowledged that the earlier model N97 had a design fault with the camera assembly where the lens slider is mounted too close to the glass, and as a result, was easily scratched.from my research a while ago, nokia acknowledged this and that it would be covered under warranty, and that they would replace the camera assembly with a newer model that doesnt have this issue.
however, my local nokia care centre refuse to acknowledge the issue and has caused my a lot of problems. the first time i brought my phone in, they correctly replaced the camera assembly with the new one. however, they somehow managed to stop the phone from recognising any sim card. so i brought it back in again, and this time they replaced the phone with a blank N97, however, this n97 had firmware issues and had the original camera slider with the design fault, and they continued to act rude and said that i didnt know what i was talking about and continued to insult me stating that it is not an acknowledged issue with the phone.
now, can someone confirm for me, or better yet, supply me with a link about the official nokia statement on this matter?
I've just transfered to the o2 simplicity contract where I supply my own phone.The phone is an ex Orange 6500 slider (my ex works phone) which was unlocked in the local shopping centre and is approx 2 years old.I can send mms's ok but if someone sends them to me I get t text saying i have to view them on-line.I've tried to send myself the mms / wap settings several times via the o2 website / via texting the 2020 number but each time they come through the text calls them Orange World.I've emailed o2 & they say i'm all set to accept them but there's obviously a issue my end with the phone. I'm trying to get into town to speak to o2 & Nokia shops personally but won't be able to for a couple of weekends!Any thoughts please people?

It's gotten so bad that I've missed calls because of it.Then when the call is gone it operates just fine without any hesitation.What's up with that? And are there any tricks to get around this?

The phone wont play music out loud including videos and such, the volume slider has disappeared from the any media screen and wont make my alert sound for texts, ringer volume also disappreared. But sometimes it will come through as a text and then the volume slider will again disappear. Or best to go to genius bar? Ive tried a reset, plugged in to itunes and charger and nothing has worked.
