Jul 8, 2012I updated the software on my phone a few weeks ago, which resulted in the phone turning itself off constantly. However, when I take a picture it looks as if its saved, but when I go to the media files a little later all I see is a picture icon not the actual picture.
When I use the video camera it seems to save and I have been able to view once or twice, but after a period of time the file turns into a music file with no video. This has resulted in several videos of my baby daughter being lost and being replace by the same music.
I have followed the advice on the forum by deleting .dat files from the folders. This has resulted in the pictures taken since the upgrade disappearing altogether. The only way I can keep a picture is by emailing it to myself instantly.

Jun 23, 2011I bought my Torch 9800 two weeks ago and my video camera works fine, very fine, but I cannot take a picture when I change to camera mode. Just appear a black screen and the button stay in gray color (disabled).

Jun 18, 2010I have a BB 9650 with O/S 5..0.0.975.Main issue is that the voice and video of a video file are not in sync. The video plays slower than the voice. I believe that it is true for all video files. They were all loaded via BB Desktop Manager and all the files have the same extensions (MP4). They play fine on my computer.don't tell me to load O/S 6.0. That OS does has so many bugs that it is useless. I have loaded it twice over the course of 6 or 7 months and both times it simply fails to function properly.

Oct 31, 2011My Blackberry 9800 Torch's earpiece doesn't work when I'm on a call (incoming and outgoing calls). I always have to talk on the speaker phone. Sometimes when I reboot the phone the ear piece will work for 1 or 2 calls but then will stop working again.

Unfortunately restoring the messages is not completed. It stops on 50%. (Messages backup is around 7000+)

Aug 11, 2010I have already installed the new Desktop Manager 6.0 that I downloaded from the RIM site.
I am thinking the safest way to not have a problem is the just restore my 9800 data from a back up rather than do the Switch Device thing. Anyone worried it might bring erroneous crap into the new 6.0 OS.
Maybe it would be better to redo my settings after the data install to make sure all is clean and working correctly. Some of the 5.0 setting would not be applicable to the new 6.0 software.

So I click on Bluetooth...it asks if I would like to activate it....I say yes, then it says Select Device:No Paired Devices with Pair Devices in a clickable button....so I click on Pair Devices ....it searches, i get phone...I click on that and it says Pairing attempt from P9050.
