My Blackberry 9800 Torch's earpiece doesn't work when I'm on a call (incoming and outgoing calls). I always have to talk on the speaker phone. Sometimes when I reboot the phone the ear piece will work for 1 or 2 calls but then will stop working again.
View 3 RepliesDue to a relocation, I was forced to switch carriers and went from a Bold 9700 to a Bold 9650. I've noticed a few changes that you can hopefully help me with!
1. Does you keypad appear yellowish instead of white? (cosmetic complaint only)
2. Does the ear piece sound "tingy" when turned up? sounds like the speaker is loose and something is vibrating.
3. When i send a text message there is a count down at the top, when i hit 160, it says field full and wno't let me type more, in the past, it would just let me type and send it as multiple text messages. is this a US Cellular thing or a setting i'm missing?
any help with i776 earpiece way ?quit working.

am using Curve 8520. All of sudden I am unable to hear voice from ear piece. When I check my display screen ear piece icon flashes with headset symbol. This continuously happening till I disconnect the call. I have used my headset & I am able to hear loud & clear. I wish I could get some experts assistance on fixing the issue.

I have gone to several cell phone stores, contacted blackberry directly and have gone on web sites. i cannot find anyone who sell these spare parts. I can't believe that an 80$ blue tooth has been rendered useless because of this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo i got my phone today from att and of course it has the issue ( not complaining ill deal haha cause its awesome) anyway called apple to see whats up and they told me there will be a update soon blah blah and until then i should put a piece of scotch tape over the antenna and they would fix it for now. Sure enough it did and it hasn't happened since. Just thought id pass this along for those who might wanna try it out.

Playing music, the sound volume is normal and ear-piece and side button are adjustable.
My xoom was returned with some marks on the plastic back piece (along the top edge). These were definetely not there when i sent it to Motorola. Will Moto do anything to remedy this?

It looks like it's closed but I remember it almost snapping into the closed position so that it doesn't keep sliding open so easy.So, I flipped it over and noticed there's this peice of copper poking out right at the end of the slide groove at the bottom of the phone. It kind of looks like the end of a wire or something, almost like it's supposed to make a connetion to something else. And to me it seems out of place, like something got knocked loose or got unattached. But I don't want to mess with it too much. I poked it with a pencil and it does move a little but I can't seem to move it out of the track, so I'm leaving it alone. I haven't even had my phone 4 months.

I try to add people by putting in their PINs and it does the same. They try to add me and it says that I'm pending but I didn't get the invite.

I went through deleted them all and readded them and it was telling me there was a problem connecting to the server. I have plugged my phone in and made sure everything is up to date, pulled the battery and resent the regestured with my wireless network.

Contact your wireless service provider." I never had this problem before I updated the software, I used to receive my emails to my BB.

(I'm running OS6, bundle 2647) I chatted w/AT&T, but they directed me back to Blackberry.I have tried soft reboot, hard reboot, restoring from desktop software, re-downloading BBSAK to wipeout & reload OS6, but my phone will not even show as connected so desktop software & BBSAK will not recognize my device. After removing the battery, the red LED light comes on, the screen lights up, but the bar at startup wont even get 25% across now before it shuts down & restarts again. I can also use the phone for calls (uconnect works) the only issue I think I have is that I can not bbm or social network (facebook and email). It was keep getting stuck. I had given it to service center inbangalore. They did some resetting. But again it continued. Its keep gettingstuck and i have to remove the battery and refix the battery again. By keepdoing this, my back pannel has become loose. Now my handset speaker is notworking. My ring tone is not working. I gave it to the service center andthey said its speaker has spoiled. They made me wait for hours. They are asking for the handset for8 to 10 days for the repair. They asked me to take the back up of my files.Now im trying to download the desktop software to take the handset back up.But desktop software is not getting downloaded. I have tried with threecomputers. But it is not getting downlaoded with any of these computers. iam sick and tiered of it. Therez no online support or some custome care tosupport me.
