Motorola :: I776 HAB Assert Fail When Powering On
Jun 15, 2010Just bought a new boost mobile i776 and planned on unlocking it for use on Telus as a Mike phone.
When I powered it up it says

Has anyone heard of this error or could explain it? I've done some searching but turned up nothing.It said ready to program so I ran the CNS unlock on it, but still no luck. I'll return it if I have to or call motorola but I have to deal with the border crossing involved in that and that makes it much more time consuming if this is an easy fix.

Oct 13, 2011My xoom was returned with some marks on the plastic back piece (along the top edge). These were definetely not there when i sent it to Motorola. Will Moto do anything to remedy this?

Jan 3, 2013I just noticed today that my phone doesn't really seem to be closing completely. It looks like it's closed but I remember it almost snapping into the closed position so that it doesn't keep sliding open so easy.So, I flipped it over and noticed there's this peice of copper poking out right at the end of the slide groove at the bottom of the phone. It kind of looks like the end of a wire or something, almost like it's supposed to make a connetion to something else. And to me it seems out of place, like something got knocked loose or got unattached. But I don't want to mess with it too much. I poked it with a pencil and it does move a little but I can't seem to move it out of the track, so I'm leaving it alone. I haven't even had my phone 4 months.

Sep 7, 2010Due to a relocation, I was forced to switch carriers and went from a Bold 9700 to a Bold 9650. I've noticed a few changes that you can hopefully help me with!
1. Does you keypad appear yellowish instead of white? (cosmetic complaint only)
2. Does the ear piece sound "tingy" when turned up? sounds like the speaker is loose and something is vibrating.
3. When i send a text message there is a count down at the top, when i hit 160, it says field full and wno't let me type more, in the past, it would just let me type and send it as multiple text messages. is this a US Cellular thing or a setting i'm missing?

Aug 2, 2011This post is for all of us who bought the Xoom because 4g speed was an important factor to us. We've been informed by email that our Xoom 4G upgrade will be available in September (2011), early Sept or late Sept who knows. We'll also have to send the Xoom back for the upgrade so the inconvenience factor to get our 4g is high.
Well for those of us [i.e. myself] who bought early in the hopes that Motorola would exceed our personal expectations and put the upgrade in our Xooms quickly after the initial Xoom release on Feb 24, 2011, we've been disappointed with this unreasonably long delay.
The bar of what we expect from Motorola is now set by the Galaxy tab 4G and the tab speeds are, well, phenomenal.[URL].. So, a personal observation, the upgrade had better be stellar and fast now that the Xoom will [maybe?] be the No. 2 4g tablet on the Verizon network. You can't win the first to 4g tablet market race but you sure better not blow the performance side of 4g.
