I have motorola xt720 and could not update motonav because motoextras does not see my phone. What I should do? I try to make an update in portal and tool mode and in storage mode but nothing happens. I can`t ever login to motoextras because of it. How I can solve this problem? My brain is shuting down.

looking arround I found and app (basebandswitcher V4) that will change my baseband to one that I could use and fix my problem, but it says "this app needs root access" so I managed again to root my phone, everything fine until I pick the baseband (Americas), then reboot and now my phone is stucked in Motorola logo, and it restart over and over and over.I tried to flash the old korean sbf version to it, and after it successfully finish, keeps restarting again and again.
I just get an unlocked XT720 but I have a problem with the T-mobile network. I have a data plan but I can not access to the internet or receive MMS through this network and it not appear 3G on my signal bars. I think it is due to server configuration. Anyone know how to configure my phone? or where can I found it?

But when pushing buttons and inadvertently going to somebodys phone #, I find later it dialed a number and I didn't know that. And I get charged. How do I avoid that? I use the back arrow- no, push home-no, menu-no. I seem to do this on e-mail as well.

An orange circle is on top of the icon and the number in that circle has climbed to 50. I only have about a dozen apps installed. When I pull down the notifications list and select this update list, the title is "Ongoing" and the apps are TweetDeck(Twitter, Facebook),... If I touch that line, it may go to the market or more often bounces back to the ome screen. How do I cancel what it is doing and stop it from continually trying to update apps. I have gone through all the settings and still no luck. God, what a stupid, bug filled OS.

Just today it started operating and running by itself. what i mean is when i unlock it, its opening applications, opening settings and just operating its self without me touching. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a slight problem with my Milestone XT720. When I lock the screen (whether I just lock it using the power button or I wait for it to lock itself or I set up the code to lock the phone) after a while the screen lights up for a few seconds and after that it fades to black again. This happens 3 or 4 times in a row and then again after a while (maybe 10 or 20 minutes). I own this phone only few days and haven´t got completely in grips with it but I could not find any setting that would turn this off and neither I found anything useful in the user guide. Is this something I can fix by disabling something or is it a fault of some kind?
Personally, it does not bother me that much but I imagine it shortens battery life a bit so I´d rather sort it out.
I tried to send an image to my laptop. I was able to pair my laptop and my Moto Milestone XT720.On the first pic that I've sent through Bluetooth it went on smoothly. But then when I tried to send again, it didn't went through.The error says "Connection failure". When I checked the bluetooth settings the the laptop is paired but not connected.I tried to unpair and then paired again but still it won't connect.I turned the bluetooth on and off and still not connected.I even restarted both my laptop and my phone and still not connecting.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got a new Motorola W385 from US Cellular. I can not get P2K Commander version 6.0.0 to recognize the phone. I have installed the Handset USB Drivers from the Motorola website and set the software to use the correct COM port. If the Mode is set to P2K/P2K05, when the software starts it says that the phone is Linux based and wants to change the mode to P2K05 over USBLAN. This has not corrected the problem. I have tried all three options under P2K Tuning. Do I need a different version of P2K Commander or a different driver? I saw that the instructions called for version 4.9.C of P2K Commander but I was not able to find a downloadable copy of that version.

I synced from Windows Media Player to the card, but when I put the card in the phone, it can't find the songs. I had this same problem on another Moto phone. (I know the card is properly formatted, because it recognizes the photos I put in the My_Pix folder.)
I notice when I sync to the SD card, a Music folder appears. I move the album to the My_Music folder before putting the card in the phone, but no success. This is my own music I've ripped from CD.
Do I need to do this via a USB cable instead? I tried getting help from Verizon, but the CSR just kept telling me to use VCast. I don't see why this wouldn't work with Windows Media. Things were so much easier on my BlackBerry, but I really want to like this phone.

I've got the Photon after having an Atrix for about 6 months i think this phone is great but I'm having an issue with the Media Link and Itunes, I can sync my playlists and actually see the songs with the music player but any song I try to play it says it can't read the format. I took a look at files info and they are in m4a format, isn't media link supposed to convert them?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with MOTOCAST in Windows XP. It will not recognize any of the 3 wi-fi networks in my home when I search for networks. The computer sees all 3 of them just fine and can connect to any of them. MOTOCAST and my MOTOACTV device work just fine on my work computer (running Windows 7). I can upload to MOTOACTV just fine at work and can see the work wi-fi network. Problem is only on the home networks. Unfortunately, getting on the network at home is most important because that is where I workout. Additionally, I can't sync my workouts to the MOTOACTV website at all from home, not wirelessly and not via USB. MOTOCAST permits me to see the music files on my computer and sync with them but will not sync to MOTOACTV via the web. Not a problem on my work computer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI connect my Droid X via USB to my PC, just like always to open and move/copy files between phone and computer, but Windows doesn't recognize photos I've taken since November 2011. I browse to the DCIM directory where my photos are located, but I can't open them with ANY program on my PC, not even preview them, with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, any graphics program, Picasa photo viewer, etc. The error says that the photo type is either invalid, or I don't have ot latest update to Windows Photo viewer, but I do have the latest.
Photos taken prior to November are just fine, and all photos can be viewed on my phone from the gallery or opening the directory. I have long suspected this was due to an automatic Android update pushed to my phone at the end of October/early November, and have put it off, but now I really need to get photos off my phone.
