Jul 8, 2010Motorola Phone Tools 5.13b will not update. Each time updates run I get a decompression error. What can I do? otorola won't help me.

Mar 22, 2010My daughter is using my old RIZR phone. I have an old copy of Mobile Phone Tools (v 2.16) which used to copy contacts back and forth to the phone. I distinctly remember a few years ago I had to update this version before it would recognize the RIZR.I haven't used this software for a while but I wanted to install it to back up her contacts. It installed fine but when I went to update, it kept saying version is already up to date. Has BVRP stopped supporting this product? Unfortunately it does not recognize the phone in the current version nor can I read the contacts off the phone.

Jul 2, 2012Is there an application similar to Motorola Phone Tools or Nokia PC Suite that is available for the iPhone? I have resently updated to iPhone 3GS 32gb and love the product. However, I would like to have the functionality that i have been used to with my previous phone, the Motorola Razr. I would like to be able to send SMS from my PC via the connected iPhone, without Jailbreaking my phone. I have googled and found iPhone PC Suite, however it states you need a Jailbreak phone and i don't want to jailbreak the phone.There is a Japanese that has the functionality I'm looking for. But, it is written all in Japanese. And, I can't read Japanese

Apr 9, 2010I spent a couple of hours digging around for the right tools to unlock my F3,This includes the flashing tools rsd lite 3.1 and associated images – you will need a USB-motorola F3 cable though or make your own serial / F3 cable (schematics included). These are simply just tools I've bundled up for ease of access etc. If you just want to unlock an F3, use ODM_Unlock_v118h. I have personally tested this and it works fine.

Jul 22, 2012When I open my Phone App, I have Favorites, Recent, and Dialpad catagories. What was Motorola doing NOT putting Contacts in the Phone app. I'm really unimpressed by ICS and actually prefer the previous OS.
Bluetooth functionality doesn't work well. There's so much idosyncratic about this OS that I personally do NOT like.
It seems that this release is typical of a manufacturer letting their user base beta test the OS for them.

Nov 27, 2012I've had this razr maxx hd just beyond the verizon "no worry" 14 day period and now its turning off and restarting on its own. It seems to hapen if Im texting and an email comes in but not totally certain. Is this something I'm just going to have to deal with until 4. comes out and hope JB doesnt hav the same issue? Verizon will replace it but with a refurb...Lets see..I bought it btand new 17 days ago, and they want to replace it with a refurbished phone

Dec 6, 2012I currently keep the power button set to end calls. During a speaker phone call the screen goes off (as expected). The only way to get it to turn back on is to hit the power button, which ends the call. If I change the settings to have the power button to not end calls the screen will come back on and I could switch out of speaker phone. Is there a way to get the screen back on while leaving the power button to end calls?

Jan 31, 2013I'm sure at one time when I use the setting,phone ringtone (left most screen, top switch) and set it to off, there was a timer that popped up asking me to specify a time. I can't seem to get this back.The app I had been using to set volume became too buggy with the last update and it isn't supported well. I've been trying different apps so it may have been an app that caused the timer to display.
